I was heading out to burning man for 10 days and a little (well, a lot!) nervous about leaving my fur babies and plants, but once I met David I stopped stressing. David was awesome! He was so good with my dog and cat. They are super snugglers and the cat is on the needy/clingy side, and he really showed up for them and for me. He sent me photos before I lost cell service and I could tell immediately that they were in great hands. I came home to very happy pets, my plants were thriving and my house looked even better than when I left it. I truly appreciated all that David did for us. I would love to have him come sit for us again the next time I head out of town. Thank you so much David!
Sally and her family are such welcoming and genourous hosts. We felt so at home and while only a very short sit, we loved our walks with Lola and pats with sweet Pippa - she really is a 'reluctant walker'! Lola is also a joy - cheeky and playful, and very well behaved when out in the fields and woods. Luna was quite independent but we said hello every now and then :) It was so lovely being able to go between exploring the local area and relaxing in Sally's beautiful home and garden for a few days. The surrounding countryside is gorgeous and very peaceful, yet within easy reach of Oxford. I couldn't recommend this sit more highly - thank you again, Sally, for everything!
Carol was a great host! Her home is lovely and impeccably clean. The balcony was private and perfect for morning coffee. Her home is very quiet, which was surprising, since it’s conveniently located right off the freeway. It is located close to shops and restaurants, most within walking distance. Sammy warmed up pretty quickly and loved to equally play and sleep. He is the king of the castle and will make sure you know it ;) He is definitely going to sleep in the bed with you, so be prepared. A couple of notes: If you’re a couple looking to house sit, be aware that there are only chairs- no couches, so couple snuggles aren’t an option. She also doesn’t have complimentary streaming services that we could find, so you’ll need your own logins for TV time. Overall this was a nice getaway. Would totally recommend this stay :)
Just back from a great petsit with Peela. She is an affectionate, well behaved dog who enjoys her food, walks and sleeps but above all the company of her human carers. Feeding the doves was fun. Stephen and Trudie made us so welcome in their beautiful home and genuinely wanted us to enjoy the sit.....which we did. Plenty to do locally, comfortable bed, hot water, log fire....perfect!
Lisa and Adam are pretty cool, got a chance to meet and talk with both of them. With the apartment being located so close to downtown and walking distance to the grocery store, restaurants and library I would recommend this spot to anyone who is looking to explore Denver. Colbert and Fry are fun to be around as they really do not require much maintenance.
