This is our first year as members of TH, and Gabino is the first sitter from TH we have entrusted to care for our two kitties and home. Like many other zeewoi clients before us, we were wary of leaving our cats/house in the care of someone we'd never met. My wife and my wariness abated after our video call with Gabino, about 3 or 4 months before the scheduled sit. Gabino was very personable and easy to talk to immediately, and during our conversation his caring and intelligent persona was evident. During the conversation our rapport grew, and by the end, we felt confident Gabino was a great choice to be our sitter. We maintained contact on WhatsApp during the months leading up to our trip, and our confidence in Gabino continued to grow as the sit approached. We met Gabino in person at our house around noon the day before our departure, and it was as if we'd already met--the communication was clear and easy. He took notes and asked the appropriate questions. When I asked if he could/would winterize my drip and sprinkler system, he already knew what to do. His general knowledge is extensive, his engineering background is evident--I truly think there is no pet or house related situation he could not competently analyze and handle. While we were away we received regular updates/photos to reassure us all was well with our cats...we could relax knowing our pets and house were getting the best of care! When we arrived home after five weeks, our pets were happy and healthy, and our house was in tip-top shape. Gabino even made a small repair to a dishwasher rack that had stymied my wife and I for months...like I said, engineering background! There's not much more I can say other than it was all positive with Gabino, and I would not hesitate for a millisecond to have Gabino help us again in the future if our schedules/stars align! Thank you a million, Gabino--we appreciate everything.
This was the second sit that Leslie did for me. She was just as special as she was the first time. She kept me posted daily with photos of Bodhi to let me know that he was doing well. I was very happy with how she took care of my beloved dog and would recommend her to anyone.
I haven’t been able to meet Jessica in person yet, but hope I do when I ask her back another time. She took fantastic care of both my cat and my house and sent me lots of photos updates. Super grateful for her care and thoughtfulness.
I had an awesome time watching Morty and Gus. They are both very easy to take care of! There are some great walking trails in the area for our daily walks, which I really appreciated. The house is located super close to Salt Lake City, and it's very close to lots of conveniences. The chickens were also very easy, and having fresh eggs every morning was a huge bonus!
