Terri was totally amazing. EVERYTHING you could wish for in a house sitter. She came to visit beforehand to meet my pets and find out about their routines. She kept I touch briefly when I was away ... just enough to reassure me. She even washed her bedding and towels before she left! And my pets were very well card for, as wasn’t home. I cannot thank or commend her enough.
I had a great time with Bob!! Unlike many cats, Bob immediately came over to say hello and start receiving cuddles and pets. He’s super friendly and loves attention. He’s really easy going and will hang out with you and cuddle, but is also very independent. The main tasks are just to feed him whenever he wants and to dry him off if he gets wet. Other than that, just hang out with Bob and get all the cuddles! Jillie & Peter were the absolute nicest hosts. Peter picked me up from Haslemere, and Jillie made a delicious (and traditionally British) dinner. I really enjoyed hearing about their travels and they are both very warm and welcoming. The house is honestly gorgeous. I had my own en suite guest room and was super, super comfy. The dining room made a great work from home office, and Bob and I spent a lot of time enjoying the garden. If you don’t have a car, it’s a 30 minute walk to the grocery store/ town, but it’s mostly on back roads and I actually didn’t mind it so much. There’s lots of cute cafes and activities in the town, and Midhurst was probably my favorite town that I’ve found doing petsits. Oh, and of course the Cowdray ruins and farm and cafe are all right there, too!
Fern and Buddy are two of the sweetest cats I've ever encountered, no trouble at all. Martina and John's house is clean, comfortable and beautifully renovated and their communication was warm and helpful.
We had such a great time hanging out with Kesey in Hood River! Kesey is very well trained and super affectionate. She likes her walks and behaves well on and off leash. The communication with Jay and Jane was superb and they were readily available for any questions and kept us posted on everything before, during and after our sit. Beautiful home. Beautiful view. Beautiful dog. We would happily sit for them again.
I enjoyed every aspect of sitting for Sunny and Cleo . I couldn't ask for a better location and the lovely house. Sunny was super shy, and usually stayed at one place and might come out a few times a day. Cleo was the sweetest thing ever, she slept with me on the bed at night and always loved a cuddle. Both are well behaved and I had not a single problem while staying at Leslie's house. The neighbourhood was central and lovely, close to parks, restaurants and supermarkets. Our communication & check-in with Leslie was smooth. I thoroughly enjoyed this summer sit and highly recommend it.
Veronica is a lovely human and her place was in a great location, with many cafes and shops around. There was a grocery store and laundrymat right around the corner. Gatin, Maila and Thunder were so lovable and affectionate! I really enjoyed my Petsit experience.
We had an amazing stay with Dianne and her furry kids. She was very accommodating and just a truly great person to talk to. She takes pets from shelters and gives them a new life which is amazing! We sat with a dog and 2 cats. Bailey is a very friendly dog and loves belly rubs. Cats have different tempers but loves to play and of course treats. They are new to each other and getting used to it. Nice safe area and big house. We will be happy to come back one day!
