Drew was an excellent pet sitter. He kept me informed on how my dogs were doing as well as their activities. When I got home, I had two healthy and happy dogs and a clean home, I really couldn’t ask for more.
Rex is such a sweet boy and very welcoming! He greeted me upon arrival, was very receptive to attention and really enjoys human company. Rex gets around very well, enjoys his time on the patio, LOVES his treats, and is very affectionate. He slept on one section of the sofa bed next to me (very relaxed and calm), enjoyed sleeping in on some days, has lovely way of "talking" to you and kept me company throughout my work-day from their home. Rex is a special boy! You'll enjoy getting to know him and spending time with him if you have an opportunity to stay with him (10 out of 10 feline friend!)
Taking care of Niven was a delightful experience. He is an extremely gentle and well trained dog. Niven and his owner live in a beautiful home which is clean and well organized and enjoys a spectacular view of the Quartermaster Harbor on Vashon Island. This sit offers both a special dog and a special place.
Ben was easy to communicate with and provided good instructions for Attie’s care and the surrounding area. Attie and I were fast friends and he was content to cuddle up on the couch and go for lots of long walks around the neighborhood.
This is absolutely a five-star housesit. Finley is quite a character; a bit reserved at first but with plenty of love and reassurance he is full of fun and high spirits. We had a great time playing ball and tug-of war with Finley, and he loved cuddling with our five-year-old son. Lorraine and Alan are generous hosts, with great communication before and during our time in their home. The house is lovely, spacious, very clean and beautifully maintained. We found Chilcomb friendly and peaceful; the neighbors all familiar with Finley and his family. Overall, an excellent experience here.
Biljana and Robert were wonderful! They were so thorough with their handover and wonderfully accommodating. It was my first Christmas sit I have done and the house was decorated so beautifully with fresh, lovely garlands and a tree. Moana and Maui were extremely cute and I loved having them around for company. Biljana was wonderful when I had managed to get myself locked out on the last night panicking about Maui's GPS collar having dropped off him whilst outside. This was just as I was getting ready to leave and Biljana called me and calmed me down and reassured me. Such wonderful, warm people with big hearts and I am so grateful for the opportunity to stay in their beautiful home over Christmas. Thanks again so much both of you. Dogtopia in Lafayette is the only place I trust to take care of my husky when I travel. One of the groomers Reece is also the best groomer I’ve ever had for a husky! I have a pup that dosent warm up to everyone and loves her! The owner and staff are top notch and always professional. I highly recommend this establishment.
I have been taking my shelter dog, Astro, here for six months, and he absolutely adores it! It is his second home, and he can hardly wait to get inside every day that I take him there, which is now three days a week and boarding during vacations. The staff here are consistently, friendly, welcoming, and efficient. I love how they build community at Dogtopia by holding several fun events each month both for the dogs and for their guardians. It is a truly wonderful place.
Grooming was a 10/10 my dog was shedding horribly. After the grooming I immediately noticed less hair shedding. Jordan was super nice and attended my dog kindly and gently ! Thank you Jordan !

It just didn’t happen - it was pretty clear that the staff were not well trained, the management was poor and that was made obvious when I tried to get information about my lab Charlie. This place is a train wreck! The first sign was when Charlie came home with what the vet described as “swimmers tail”, caused by either too much swimming or excessive crating in a small crate. Poor Charlie was crated for way too long and he paid the price. How sad that the answer to every issue here is to just crate the dog. Sickening. The next week I picked up Charlie and was told he was involved in an “incident” and had a small scratch over his eye. The vet called it a deep tissue contusion with significant bruising and swelling. You cannot see the teeth marks on his neck. He was attacked, plain and simple, and our vet confirmed the force of the injury. I was initially told about what happened to my dog which turned out to be just a series of lies and to this day I still don’t know what happened! I just know I would never take my dog there again and if you love your dog I wouldn’t take them to Dogtopia either! I wish poor Charlie didn’t have to suffer their incompetence. This place is dangerous. Avoid at the potential cost to your dogs health and well being.
The staff is very friendly, and my 4 month old puppy loves daycare so far! He’s been safe there and runs happily into the front door. Everything was easy to set up and the staff even lets us pick him up late one day a week. I totally recommend Dogtopia!
I’ve been taking my fur baby now for the last two months and have been so happy with the staff they are so kind and answer my every need. I enjoy watching her play on the webcam . She was groomed by Emily and I loved how she looked and smelled heavenly!
Our dog really goes to daycare to follow the humans around, ALL DAY. The staff at Dogtopia handles this well. They love on my dog and he runs in every time we arrive. We also get nail trims and a bath, neither of which our dog has liked in the past but with these guys he just hops up on the table and lays down for the trim. Would totally recommend this location of Dogtopia!
I've been taking my 6 month old puppy here for about 2 months. I was hesitant to bring her here at first because there are a few bad reviews, and the incident on next-door occurred shortly after starting here. HOWEVER, I have personally always received great service and care towards myself and my puppy. They know her by name the second we get into the parking lot, and when I check the cameras during daycare, I always see my puppy having a great time and receiving lots of love from the staff. My only complaint is that they do not allow drop-off earlier than 6:30 am, which did affect my work schedule, but other than that, it's been a great experience!

Dr. Kira Leedom, owner of Off Roads Paws, and her staff were extremely professional, responsible & compassionate when pet-sitting for our 2 dogs and cat for a week over Christmas. Annie & I are so impressed with their excellent service and daily communication. Kira and her team are absolutely fantastic. They've been walking our (nervous, high-energy) cattle dog for 2 years. At this point they are like part of our family. Kira is so caring and in tune with our pup. She's also extremely knowledgeable and has been an incredible resource through the ups and downs of dog parenting. With such an energetic pup, off-leash hiking makes a huge difference in our lives. Off Road Paws has been so helpful and flexible with our travel schedules and mountain adventures. I don't know what we'd do without them!

Kira and her team have been running our dog, Pepper, twice a week for the last five months, while I have been undergoing chemotherapy. Pepper doesn't warm to new people very easily, but Kira won her affections very quickly, and Pepper now eagerly awaits the arrival of the Off Road Paws runner. Pepper isn't always the easiest of dogs to walk, and Off Road Paws do a great job with her. The team are great and I thoroughly recommend them.
I can’t say enough good things about Off Road Paws. Kira has been taking care of my two dogs for years. Her whole team is really wonderful. One of my dogs is very scared of basically everyone outside of our immediate family, but he loooooooves them. Our other dog is a very senior dog, and they are so sweet and helpful with him, too. We tried several people on Rover before finding them, and it really isn’t comparable. Off Road Paws is reliable and trustworthy. They follow up each visit/walk with a dog report and a great picture of your pet.

Juliet is not only reliable and caring, she is also amazing with animals! My cat absolutely loves her, and I know when I go away he is very well cared for. Juliet really understands animals. I have nothing but praise for the care Juliet and Boulder Pet Care has provided for my dog. I have a very high energy labradoodle, and as a professional I travel for work quite often. Juliet and her team has done overnight care for my dog and provided many walks and she's always timely, communicative and really easy to work with. Aside from the logistics, I know she genuinely cares for the pets, and my dog is truly loved by her which is priceless. He nearly jumps out of his skin when she shows up. Even though Juliet is more experienced with dogs and cats than with birds, she was very willing to learn how to take good, gentle care of our parrot while we were gone on vacation. Our parrot is 26 years old and a bit set in her ways (stubborn!), but Juliet has managed to do a fabulous job with "our baby". I have no worries about our parrot's health and well-being under Juliet's care when we leave on any trip now.
I travel a lot and I know I can rely on Juliet to take care of my pets when I am gone. She is extremely reliable, takes good care of the animals, always gets in contact if there is even the slightest issue and she has great backup systems in place to make sure no matter what happens, my cats will be taken care of. This review addresses the house sitting service as the dog sitting/care was, like other reviewers have stated, good. We were not satisfied with the condition of our home upon returning from our trip as it was not cared for appropriately. Juliet, the owner of Boulder Pet Care was not helpful in resolving the issue. Will not recommend nor use this company in the future.

The people at RMK take such great care of my boy and all of the pups and he loves seeing RMK every time I need to drop him off for extended care. he knows where he is and squeaks with excitement the moment we drive down CR 3. My pup loves to stay here while we are away. They take great care of him and are very accommodating. I can call anytime and check up on him. Prices are great for long time stay and there is lots of room for my dog to roam.
My dogs love it here
They have been great with our dog Zuni so far! We really enjoy the large outdoor area the pups have t play in. Also, there is always someone watching the dogs play to ensure everyone is being safe. They are always super friendly and willing to answer any questions we have. There are extra precautions taken for dogs like ours who doesn't play well with others, so he is a "Solo" dog, which we appreciate. Our vet recommended them and we have had a great experience so far!

They are awesome. Dog loves it!! Our dog is shy of humans and not a fan of change, but loves being outside with the other dogs . We have tried different kennels and Rocky Mountain fits her well. The people are kind to the fur babies and have treated our dog well. They are very accommodating of small changes to schedule and the flexibility in drop-off and pickup times makes it so easy for us.
Bring your dogs here. They are professional, kind and loving. We were out of town for 8 days and they had a great time. One of our dogs needed special care and the owner took her in his own house. They truly care about the well being of your dogs. Not to mention they have unbeatable prices. Thank you for your amazing service. I will continue using you guys in the future! God bless
My two dogs are very high energy and they require intense play! We took the pups there initially to board them, and they loved it so much they didn't move for a couple of days when they came home because they were so tired! We started taking them to doggy-day care during the week to get them more exercise. The facility/grounds are beautiful and the dogs have a ton of space to run around outside! The staff is wonderful and are very knowledgable. Ashely has helped us numerous times and it's evident that all of the staff truly enjoys being there. One of our pups hurt his paw playing one weekend when we were out of town and the staff member called to let us know and even checked in a few days later once he was home again! I trust this kennel very much and we drive all the way across town just to take them there. If you're looking for a place to take your dog-- quiet, crazy, or an alpha (like one of mine), the staff will find a way for them to still have fun and get exercise. I highly recommend!
Jennifer is absolutely wonderful! She watches my two cats whenever I go out of town, and she is always responsive, courteous, and does an excellent job of keeping the cats happy. With other pet sitters in the past, the cats sometimes seemed needy or stressed after we returned home, but when Jennifer watches them they are happy as clams. I highly recommend her!
Jennifer is wonderful. She cares for my two kitties as though they were her own. She is kind, caring, and absolutely competent. The first time I met her, I felt completely at ease, with no doubt that she would take good care of my four-legged family members. One of my kitties is 17, quite frail, and requires daily medication. The other kitty is anxious and his go-to response to just about anything new or even slightly unusual is to bolt. I can tell from the daily videos that Jennifer sends, however, that both of my kitties are quite calm around her--which is a really big deal. I love seeing the videos of my kitties when I'm traveling and I can hear Jennifer softly talking to them, which is reassuring. I'm grateful to have found someone I trust with the care and safety of my kitties because that eliminates some of the stress I feel when I have to leave them. I will definitely continue to hire Jennifer and highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for excellent care for their companion animals.
Jennifer has been taking care of our kitties for a few months. She is extremely reliable, excellent with medications, and very committed the well-being of our cats. One of our kitties has GI Lymphoma. She requires feedings 4 - 5 times per day. Her behavior has to be watched to figure out some of her additional medications. Jennifer has been our eyes and ears and we are so grateful for her! I highly recommend her.
Jennifer pet sits and walks our chihuahua and takes care of our 2 cats and they all just love her. When we come home from a trip it’s as though we didn’t even leave. It wasn’t always like that so we’re very grateful for her services and professionalism. She is just wonderful with animals, they took to her right away which surprised us. Jennifer is awesome. Best pet sitter I’ve ever used. She takes care of my chickens when I travel for work (which is often). She’s incredibly conscientious and responsible - she watches out for them as though they were her own pets (the importance of this cannot be overstated!), communicates well and sends pics to me that provide peace of mind, and keeps me up to date on anything that she notices around their coop or my house so that I don’t come home to any surprises. I never worry about my chickens when I go out of town because I know they are in the absolute best hands! Finding her has been a lifesaver because I used to worry all the time and have to reach out to my pet sitters to make sure they were actually showing up, watching out for things, etc. If you’re considering hiring her, DEFINITELY DO IT you will not find anyone better!!!
Jennifer was able to give me an affordable rate for a college student. She took care of my pet bunny Lola for a couple weeks and they had a great time together. When I came back I was happy to see my bunny healthy.

My review for this place is LONG overdue...but this place is nothing but amazing. Seriously. They are so organized, clean, and I just know that they care about my dog, Chase. We used them for boarding services after a bad experience at another one in town. Lets just say he hated the other place and loves coming here. We also do his grooming here, which is super convenient. Chase's first stay here- they sent him home with a birthday goody bag- this was so sweet and he loved everything in it! Also, the day I went into labor with my first baby, they quickly made arrangements for him to stay there for a few days even though they were booked up. That really helped us out a bunch. Getting those report cards of how he's doing and how much fun he's having really puts my mind at ease that even though I know he gets shy/anxious/worrysome when he's not sleeping at home..he is having such a blast when he's there! They also have a number you can text and ask for updates and they are really prompt about reaching back. Thank you so much Cottage Kennels Farm!
I would leave 10 stars if I could!! The facility is immaculate and top notch! The staff is professional and genuinely care for the animals. I love how they interact with dogs and get to know each one individually. I’m so glad we found this place for our little guy!
I was very nervous having to board my pup, Jax so I asked his vet and they recommended Cottage Kennels Farm. I spoke with the owner and within 10 minutes I knew she was the place to take care of Jax. She was very understanding and you could tell she loved all of guests that stayed. Jax spent 5 nights and loved the place (he even sent me a note telling me how much fun he was having). They sent me updates during his stay. The care he received was amazing and I will be sure to send him for frequent visits with his new friends.
We left our 2 dogs here for 6 nights while being out of town, and were really nervous about it since we had only left them at a kennel once before for a short time. The first night they were there, one of my dogs had a really bad accident overnight in their shared kennel and left a gross mess. The owner was so kind and proactive with letting me know about it and inquiring about potential issues, and additionally was really reassuring that they would make sure my dogs were doing okay and would communicate with me if there were any further issues. I felt so bad they had to deal with that, but they were proactive about giving both dogs baths afterwards and making sure they were all cleaned up, and again the owner was so gracious and kind about having to deal with such a nasty mess! I was really worried about how the rest of their stay would be after that first night, but then received their report card and some photos a couple days later showing that they were having a great time and doing really well, and it brought me so much relief and made me feel much better about leaving them for an extended period. It sounded like they got a lot of attention from the staff throughout the day, which is great for dogs like mine that really love being around people and also other dogs! Really appreciate the attentiveness and care for the dogs in ALL circumstances and providing a super fun and comfortable place for them to stay for a few days, and also very grateful for the kindness and professionalism from the owner and staff! Definitely will be bringing them back here in the future!
This was our dogs first time being in a kennel, so we were a bit nervous. The staff is nice and efficient. You also get a report card with pictures, a letter from your dog about what they are doing and what friends they have made. It is the summer and hot, so they even got to have water play on a few of the days. Check in and out super easy. Text updates and reminders are great. Overall, excellent experience for our dogs first ever kennel stay as a puppy. We have found our kennel to use in the future.
I love boarding my dog at Cottage Kennels. I have a super-senior dog who loves people but doesn't love other dogs, and they do a great job keeping him calm and happy. He always runs right in when we pull up. They are great with communication, keeping up with our dogs changing needs, and we love how strict they are on vaccinations and keeping dogs healthy 🥰
We had our senior dog stay with Cottage Kennels Farm for the first time this weekend and they did a great job caring for her. She isn’t a very social dog and they mixed her in with similar behavior dogs. We absolutely will be sending our dog again. Thank you!

We only board with Cottage Kennels 3-4 times a year, but when we do we're treated like regulars. I can tell Capria has extremely high standards for herself and her business, and with that comes some unique business policies to keep her care exceptional while offering competitive rates. We have two very different shepherd dogs and they always return to us as good as, if not better than, when we dropped them off - nearly identical to when they stay with family, but with a bit more (much needed) structure. We've had boarding experiences elsewhere where dogs returned to us unhygienic and concerningly tired from stress/play, and that's never happened while boarding with Cottage Kennels. We're very thankful to have Capria's care accessible to us.
Boulder Pet Nanny is a great option for cat visits. After Rock Paw acquired them, some of the policy changes caused some friction and I generally found it more difficult to schedule and pay for services, which is why this isn't five stars. But Krissia and Eric are great caretakers and really cared for our kitty. After he passed, they were super kind to us and showed us comfort and compassion, which we really appreciated.
Such a great experience! Lisa and Tobias came to our home for a visit before we left on our trip. They asked tons of questions about each of our 3 cats. Some we didn't even think of. They work with you on what time of day they need to come by that fits your usual routine. They genuinely care about your fur babies and from what I've seen, they strive to treat your babies like their own. My 3 kitties were happy and relaxed when we returned home and we couldn't be more pleased.
We have an 19 year old cat. He has a few treatable illnesses and needs a pill once a day and a shot every three. Giving a cat a shot isn't something our neighbor was comfortable doing. We found Boulder Pet Nanny and haven't looked back. We've used them five times now. Every time we come home the cats are happy and healthy and our home is as we left it. They remove the stress from trying to juggle two or three friends to come over when we visit family in other states. Even over the holidays was no problem. We couldn't be happier with their service!
I highly recommend The Pet Nanny to take care of your pets! Our cat needed to be looked after while we were away and Brian from The Pet Nanny did an incredible job! It was such a relief to know we didn't have to put our cat in a cage to go into boarding for just a weekend. Our cat is extremely fussy and demands grass to be hand-fed to him and Brian was more than happy to do this, which was beyond the care we thought we would get! :) We came home to a clean litter box, clean food area and a very happy cat :)
10 stars! I depend on Jamie and her team and they come through. They are reliable, trustworthy, and adaptable to last minute schedule changes. They have looked after our cats many times and we always return to find them relaxed, fed, playful and happy. This woman who owns this business called me (at 9:00 PM on a Friday from a private number) and asked what breed of dog our lab-pitbull mix was, and repeatedly asked if he looked more pitbull than lab. She then told me she was afraid of pitbulls and proceeded to lecture me on how there was a good possibility that he could be unpredictably dangerous and that she knows because she works with dogs. Frankly, I've taken our dog Cerna to several doggy daycares since he was a puppy without incident. Having never bitten anyone, and always being a favorite at daycare, to be told that he's a potential threat, moreso than any other breed (she says Dobermans and German Shepards are more trustworthy) was frankly offensive and I ended our conversation promptly. Cerna is a smart, energetic and very loving dog. There's no intelligent logic behind discriminating against a breed of dog that you've never met on an individual basis. My girlfriend and I are very disappointed in this poor business experience and will take our business elsewhere.

I am so happy to hear that Rock Paw Pet Care has taken over the Pet Nanny business. Krissia and Eric at Rock Paw have taken care of our dog, Ruby, for the past five years. Our dog has a scheduled walk each week day. Krissia shows up like clockwork and makes us aware of any issues with Ruby that need a vets or groomers attention.
Pet owners worst nightmare!! I just came home from a 6 day vacation and pet nanny was suppose to take care of my 2 cats and when I got home it was very evident that no body came at all! Their water bowls were bone dry, litter boxes filled to the max, and my sick old cat didn't get his daily medication. Thank goodness we have an automatic cat feeder or they would have starved! Dallas was great the first time they watched them but I am so appalled that they completely forgot about my cats. I talked with them 2 times about visiting them this week. So disappointed! I was on a cruise and had no cell phone service most of the time, only when I was in port. I was also told originally that their policy is that they don't do text updates so owners are not constantly annoying the sitters. So I expected the cats were fine since the first time everything went great. But clearly not, luckily my cats are okay.
I love the Boulder Pet Nanny. Debbi and her team are super reliable and confirm all appointments, so I know I am taken care of. When I return home I can tell my dog has been well attended to. Highly recommended and I just wish I knew about this great service earlier.
Love this company - Had a great dog sitter who was able to get our fearful older dog to relax and warm up to her quickly. While we were away, she kept us informed, the house was clean upon our return, our pets were happy having gone on walks daily and the plants are watered. John was very helpful and responsive to our questions and concerns we had during the process.
My pet sitter was amazing! I have 3 elderly dogs that are active but not wild and I have a puppy who is a wild lil thing. She was able to balance her time to be with all my pups. Took the young one on long walks and cuddled with the older ones. I have one pup who does not understand humans and he is picky on the humans. He loved her! Came right to her when he met her. John from Pure In-home was very helpful and answered every question I had. I would definitely recommend using Pure In-home for my next pet sitting. The process was easy and the match to a pet sitter was perfect!
Pure-In Home Pet Sitting has watched my dog for drop-in visits two times now. John has been a great communicator, orienting me to the process, and being quite flexible when it comes to our last-minute needs. Susie has been great with Willoughby. She takes great photos and always gives us an update. She is also spot-on about following the directions. She is able to feed, walk, and play with our dog. Susie is super chill and very accommodating to your needs. I feel very comfortable with continuing to use Pure In-Home for my pet care needs. Def recommend them!

Definitely book ahead, as this service is popular. All my interactions with both the home office and my pet Sitter were positive and professional. Our dogs loved our sitter, Mario. After meeting him ahead of time I felt confident to let him stay in our home and take care of our dogs and my back patio full of plants during 100+F weather. Communication and responsiveness was excellent. Not cheap, but our kids are worth it. Highly recommend!
Working with the office was easy and pleasant in the first place. Mario, the dog sitter, immediately made friends with our two dogs and provided exceptional care for them throughout our absence. Mario played with the dogs, even slept with them. The dogs were perfectly content when we returned. We would love to have Mario sit with the pups again if we travel again soon.
We reached out to Pure In Home Pet Sitting to hire a dogsitter who would stay overnight at our unit. Our dog is quite anxious and reactive to other dogs so it was important that we had a sitter that was very attentive. Our sitter, Kirsten, did a wonderful job taking care of Joey and providing us with frequent updates. We could tell that our dog was really well cared for while we were away and actually enjoyed the weekend! I highly recommend Pure In Home Pet Sitting and Kirsten.
We have used this company twice and both times our pets and our home were very well cared for and all of our requests and needs were met. We had very responsive communication from both John at the office and Taylor, our pet's caregiver. Taylor took great care of the animals and sent us pictures every day. Prices were reasonable. We would definitely hire them again.
This company spent considerable time and patience getting my reviews, talking about jobs, and verifying 3 days ago they had plenty of sitter jobs available. Wrote a letter scheduling a final zoom meeting this morning. Ooops, just shortly before scheduled zoom -- suddenly a letter arrives saying they are now out of jobs, no sitters needed -- long letter redacting all that had been discussed. Since I am a very young appearing, energetic and capable but quite senior citizen, can this be what suddenly changed their status? Have a recording of the principle person reassuring that sitters are needed now. Total brush off, yuck Boulder ageism
Our sitter was very attentive to our extremely active pup and took her on nice, long, walks. We received daily updates with pictures. Our house was also very well cared for. Sheets and towels were even washed and everything looked exactly as we had left it. Great experience.
