Sara has been one of the best sitters we’ve ever used! So professional and you can tell how much she cares about pets. She sent us near daily photos of our cat and dog. She left the house immaculate. And unfortunately our cat got a bad skin rash while we were away, she took him to the vet and cared for him with topical ointments. She went above and beyond as a sitter and I would highly recommend her for your next sit.
Ziggy is the friendliest most immediately affectionate dog ever! He loves people and he will love you. You'll love your time in this mountain home and going for walks with Ziggy in the Empire Mine Park. Its about a 10 minute drive from town so its quiet and feels secluded but easy enough to get town to go out for some nice food/breweries. We work from home and their internet is fantastically fast if that is important to you (it was to us!). To top it off, Deb & Rick are very friendly and relaxed people. We definitely recommend a sit with Ziggy :)
Vicky was great - easy to communicate with. The home was in a great location near the tube and local shops. Ollie was brilliant. Such a little character. Chatty, liked waking me up early and loved his food.
I loved sitting the kitties with all their great personalities. The hens were easy to care for and we had great conversations. I biked all over Niagara on the Lake and loved it. Angela’s house is comfy, historic and easy to find your way around. Don’t be surprised if Smokey does not show and if Vader jumps on the counter at meal times.
This was an amazing sit. The home is beautiful, clean and inviting. Oscar and Fitz are very easy to fall in love with, I really miss them. They each have unique personalities. I spent the majority of time sitting in the screened porch, with Oscar and Fitz, listening to the birds. I didn't go into the lower level so I can't vouch for that, but I didn't need to. It was just too relaxing on the main floor. No need to go downstairs to watch TV. The bedroom was beautiful with a relaxing bed. Jennifer was available for any questions and responded quickly and there were other options in case I needed help or had questions or concerns. The trail around the neighbor is a true workout with the hills and I felt very safe. I would highly recommend this sit. Galena is about 30 min away and is a very interesting town and Dubuque Iowa is 40 min with other small towns in the area.
I feel super grateful that Jad and Estelle chose me for their housesit. From all our conversations, I felt relaxed when I was in their home, and importantly they would reply to any questions immediately, so that was easy and a relief. I spent a lot of time with their parents which was absolutely heartwarming (genuinely! I hope to visit them in the future). The location is also in the heart of Dublin, so great for exploring. I really felt that this was more than a dogsit and I would definitely look after the dogs and house again in a heartbeat! Thanks for everything!
Sabine and Freya are very nice, they welcomed us very well. We spent 2 beautiful days, Freya is super affectionate, sometimes she sleeps a lot but you have to encourage her to go out in the sun, or play with her toys! Sabine communicated with me whenever I needed her! Their house is super comfortable. Thank you! ❤️
