We just had a great experience with Adam and would certainly recommend him! He makes for a great sitter and a wonderful guest. Throughout the entire process he was very easy to coordinate with, quick to respond, and ready to help wherever he could.

Adam was very respectful of our home and gentle with our dog Cortana, who's particularly sensitive to strangers. He was meticulous with our instructions and came ready with a couple questions based on the Welcome Guide, so it was obvious he read it through before his arrival. During handoff he also made sure he knew exactly where Cortana's important items were for each step in her daily schedule. We returned to a relaxed and happy dog who is currently sleeping soundly under my desk, so she seems to have had a stress-free staycation with plenty of exercise! The plants are all happy, including the freshly propagated and very needy little ones, and our home is clean and tidy. Adam was kind enough to also make up the bed with fresh sheets, empty the dishwasher, and of course handle all of Cortana's evening walking/feeding needs, so we had nothing to do upon on our return except unpack!

An unexpected perk was Adam's travel truck camper, which made him especially flexible for our plans (which included a very early departure and a late evening return.) He was happy to arrive the night before the sit began and to stay on until after we returned, which allowed for Cortana's schedule to continue uninterrupted even when our flights were unexpectedly delayed. The overlap was so easy and completely unobtrusive because he travels with his own bed!

We have no hesitation recommending Adam to anyone and would happily have him back to sit again!

Jason and Raphaëlle were extremely hospitable and friendly (the kind you want to keep). Their line of communication was always open and always very pleasant. Their apartment is very cozy, clean and well equipped. The localization is near several parks and a grocery you can walk to.

Opia and Sasha were absolutely adorable. They always listened well and were undeniable loyal from the first moment we stepped in to watch over them. Opia always wants to play and Sasha always wants to be pet. We never got attached to dogs this much this quickly.

Susan
I had a lovely long weekend with Vanna. The temperature dropped and there was snow and cloud for the first few days but Susan has set up her house so nicely for guests that I had no problem just hunkering down and staying cosy. On the last day it cleared so I could enjoy the beautiful views and explore the local area with the help of some of Susan’s tips.

Vanna’s very easy to spend time with - entertaining with her funny growl-begging, complete with foot-stomping! In between walks and puzzle-times, she’ll settle for long naps on the sofa. She travels well in the car so I could take her further afield, but we also walked straight from the house when it was snowy. It’s a very quiet neighbourhood and I enjoyed seeing the wild turkeys, deer and elk in the area.

Highly recommended for a relaxing and peaceful getaway!

Victoria
What a lovely sit! Penny is the cutest little thing you'll ever meet - a ball of energy, super friendly, attentive, but will also be okay just napping next to you if you need to do some work.

The flat was lovely, ground floor, super cosy and has everything you might need, in a great well connected location. Communication with Victoria was also super easy before and during the sit and we'd love to come back to take care of Penny again anytime.

Firrinne and Caoimhe are a couple of lovely, lively, good-natured dogs. Firrinne is a big softie who will shower you with lots of licks, Caoimhe is a very intelligent young dog who loves tummy rubs, swimming in the sea and running on the beach. Gullane has a beautiful beach and is a golfer’s paradise. Top tip: the pizza from Super Fry is excellent. There is a large, comfortable bed for sitters to use. There is also a huge TV to lounge in front of in the evening after you’ve been out walking the dogs. Barbara and Willie provided us with lovely food and wine on our arrival.
