Dog Sitters in Vanier

Dale and Kathy are the best! They took such wonderful care of my home and my pets. My one dog is very challenging sometimes. Dale took him for bike rides which he totally loves. I would recommend them highly and look forwards to using them again.

Fern and Frank were wonderful house and cat sitters for our three week vacation. We can’t say enough good things about them! They both have extensive experience with home ownership, caring for pets and world travel which helped them to settle into our home and to connect with our cats quickly. Frank and Fern them have gentle, calm and easy going personalities that fit perfectly with our needs and our cats' lifestyle. They provided daily updates with fun photos and videos of our cats and home. They were always easy to contact which made us feel at ease. They made is easy to relax and enjoy our vacation, knowing that everything was taken care of at home. When we arrived home, the house was spotless and we were greeted by two very relaxed and happy cats! We were very happy with Frank and Fern and would not hesitate to invite them back for future house/cat sits.

Debora has been amazing. She took such good care of our furry kids, and our house. She kept us informed daily, sending us pictures and beautiful animated videos. We could see our kids were well cared for and really loved her. She walked them daily despite the weather (rainy that week!). We came back to a clean home and happy pets and a Xmas present for our baby boy 🙂 We would be happy to have Debora care for our kids again!

For mini vacation 3, Marianne happily came back to our home but this time there was extra care needed for Muffin, the big orange cat who had just broken his tooth with infection possible. She does volunteer cat rescue and so she quickly agreed to take him to the vet for the emergency appt that was booked for during our absence. We were camping without cell service so we just relied on her to make decisions about dental work and blood tests. She fed him with care as he was not eating well or easily and she stayed until a few moments before we got home from our canoe trip to ensure all was well. She left notes of updates and emailed more information about the vet visit. Muffin can eat again and is back to his normal patterns . This extra care made our trip possible. Marianne is so wonderful and we hope she will continue to care for the cats and the house in the future. Our freshly laundered sheets that she had done at her house after our 2nd trip were now back on the bed and the house and garden looking perfect. Thank you to Marianne for being so flexible, caring, easy to talk to and communicate with before, during and after all our short vacations this July.

This is the third time Marie-Claude sat for us... once again, excellent!!

Madaline was exceptional in her ability to care for all our animals. She proved to be quite experienced looking after our horse, goat and chickens. In fact she went above and beyond-- excercising, brushing, nurturing and spending quality time with them. Her skills feeding, and maintaining the overall health and well-being of our barn "babies", was clearly evidenced by the daily pictures and videos she sent. Her commitment, expertise and the confident manner in which she cared for our older Miniture Schnauzers was exhibited in the way she administered their food, medication, eye drops and insulin needles on a rather complicated set schedule. Lots of cuddling pictures were forwarded daily so there was never any anxiety felt being so far away. Madaline ensured our home was impeccable when she left. Her organizational skills are clearly unsurpassed. I believe this house sit was not an easy one but she handled it like a pro. She is intelligent, caring, genuine and a joy to be around. Madaline clearly is an absolute treasure to zeewoi. Anyone would be absolutely privileged to have her care for their animals and their home. Missing her already!

Munira and her son, Mohammed, are dream housesitters. Munira was great about sending updates about my sweet elderly little cat. My cat hurt her paw jumping down from something and Munira informed me immediately, sent videos, and monitored her recovery. Munira even brought her food and water up to the room where she was staying when she noticed that my cat hadn't been down to eat. And you couldn't even tell that she and Mohammed had stayed in my house. Everything was as I left it - clean, tidy, and everything in its place. She and Mohammed were a delight and I would have them back again in a heartbeat. I cannot recommend them enough.

I was delighted with Ashley and Ziga's petsitting. My cats settled in with them really well, and they clearly enjoyed interacting with the cats. Just before I left, one of the cats got an eye infection and so they had to administer eye drops twice a day and also deal with a grumpy cat! However, they handled the situation efficiently and without fuss and by the time I returned he was on the mend. When I got back, the cats were relaxed and happy and the house very tidy. I highly recommend Ashley and Ziga; and I hope they will come back to petsit for me again in the future.

Josee and Martin house sat for us over a long weekend. They took excellent care of our home and cats. Josee sent daily pictures that showed our cats weren’t missing us at all and were in no rush for us to come home 🤣 One of my cats requires medication 2x daily and Josee had no issues administering it. We highly recommend them and would welcome them back anytime!

Sharon took the best care of Fergie, I’m pretty sure Fergie accompanied her on outings and spent quality time with her. The house and yard were kept immaculate. Thanks Sharon , I’m pretty sure Fergie misses you!

They were punctual and communicated well. The house was very clean when we returned and the pets had been well cared for. They sent us videos from which we could tell our pets were having fun. We will use them again.

Sandy, John, and Dan sat for our somewhat anxious-at-first Mexican rescue dog for 5 days and we couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. Communications before and during the sit were numerous and helped us visualize the care and attention provided to Roger. Our home and garden were also well-cared-for also and we'd be delighted to have this family back for another sit in the future should the need arise. Thank you Sandy, John, & Dan!
