We had a lovely sit at Ann’s home. The horses were easy to mind and the cats very affectionate, especially Dave. All mod cons and pool was great during temps of 30 degrees. Location close to local village and bigger towns. The night market what a lovely atmosphere. The hilltop villages were very pretty and people welcoming and helpful.

This wonderful sit ticked all of the boxes:
- The homeowners are warm and welcoming. Communication with Richard before, during, and even after the sit was excellent. We really enjoyed our time chatting with Richard and Deb before they left on holidays and again once they returned home.
- The pets are super sweet and easy-going. Jazz (the dog) was shy at first, but once you take her for her treasured daily walk or throw her squeaky toy, you will become her best friend. Soon she was sitting on our laps in the evening! We will miss her and her adorable little personality. Sunny (the cat) is the sweetest senior girl who sleeps away her days outdoors. She will seek you out and enjoys affection when you are outside puttering in the yard.
- Speaking of the yard: it is a total oasis thanks to the green thumb of Deb. What a beautiful sanctuary they have created outdoors.
- The house is super clean and comfortable.
- Goolwa was an unexpected surprise for us. We loved the proximity to the ocean, the lake, and the mouth of the Murray River where it flows through a barrage (well worth seeing with all of the abundant bird life and seals!). You will find the temperate weather is perfect for exploring the region.

If you have a chance, apply for this sit. We’d give it 10 stars if we could!

We had a wonderful week keeping beautiful Freyja company in Erin and Nick's beautiful home in Ealing. Freyja was a little shy on the first day, mainly staying under the sofa, but quickly warmed to us and let us stroke her and play with her. She is the sweetest thing - her squeaky little miaow is adorable, as is her excitement when she knows she's about to get a treat! She was a dream to look after, no problems at all. She loved being near us, even in the first days when she was still getting used to us, and may be the most photogenic cat ever!

The house was clean, comfortable, quiet and had everything we needed. It's a very nice neighbourhood, close to supermarkets, the tube and restaurants and cute little independent stores. I (Naomi) kept Erin updated during the sit, and she was very friendly, responsive and always willing to help, and gave the best advice on the local food options! They also left us a welcome gift, which was very kind and a nice surprise :)

We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this house sit, and hope we'll have the opportunity to sit for Erin, Nick and Freyja again!

Absolutely loved the beautiful backdrop of Colorado National Monument viewed from the one of two great sitting areas with the company of Chico who is allowed outside but does like to wander. (Got a bit nervous when he was gone for awhile and the GPS didn’t help locate him, but he sauntered back before dark without a worry) Bella and Chico are both sweet and easy to care for. The house is lovely, the neighbors are great, Jodi was quick and friendly with communications and I appreciated her clear instructions, helpful suggestions and understanding when I had a major hiccup in travel plans. If I’m back in the area I will definitely see if I am needed again.

Ted, Chilli & Colin; were an absolute joy to care for. Ted enjoyed his many daily walks & rides, Chilli loved getting her belly rubbed (don't we all), and Colin you just wanted to hug.
We think the amount of photos we took (see trustedhousemouse.org) demonstrates how much we enjoyed their company

Jasper and Toby are two special characters. They are wonderful, smart and social kitties. Toby is very active and playful. He likes to play fetch and he is very smart. Jasper is a good hunter. He is a good brother to Toby. Both cats are so sweet. I thank to Deb and Tom for their hospitality. I felt like home. They were very welcoming. Their house is in a very touristic area in Santa Cruz. I definitely recommend this sit.
