Justine took wonderful care of our home and even more importantly of our dog Darby. She worked with us to meet prior to our holiday and discuss arrangements, meet our dog, and was extremely flexible and responsive. During our trip she kept us up to date with pictures and videos and we were able to enjoy our trip knowing that our pup was well cared for. Our dog is on medication and Justine took great care to make sure he received it on schedule. Upon our return Darby even gave her some kisses before she left so we know they had a good time together! We will definitely have Justine watch Darby and our house again and would recommend her to anyone!

Rebecca and her pups are so sweet! Rebecca communicated very well and everything was exactly as she stated. The stay was smooth and Rebecca’s home is located in such a beautiful location. The dogs are very sweet (and strong! 😅)

Hernani
Martin was an absolute cutie, very low maintenance to look after. Hernani's house was lovely too – lots of space and very close to the tram to get into Manchester!

L Lee
Steve and I only spent a couple of hours at most with Lee and knew right away that we'd like to know her better. She greeted us warmly and gave us a thorough walk-through of the house, washer/dryer, etc. and gave us our choice of bedrooms. The house is really clean and our two-week stay was very comfortable. Freckles was friendly right away. *Hint: arrive with your fingers smelling like the delicious sandwich you just had for lunch. LOL

Lee has made it easy to care for Freckles - from a water fountain-type dispenser, an automatic feeder for dry food and cat doors that are activated by Freckle's chip. Though he is an independent kitty and not a lap cat, we soon learned that he does like to be pet, brushed, played with, and he even slept with us sometimes.

There was a lot to see and do in the surrounding areas. The west coast is only about 75-minutes away and we stopped at lots of scenic spots from Newport to Depoe. Alsea Falls was gorgeous as was the local Talking Water Gardens trails (lots of birds so bring binoculars). The Albany Regional museum was very interesting and the Carousel is not to be missed. We made two attempts to reach the top of Marys Peak but there was too much snow (end of April) to get that far.

Because it had been raining, Lee wasn't able to mow the lawn before she left, and we knew in advance that mowing might be needed. It rained enough and became dry enough so that Steve mowed the lawn three times. No worries, the lawn isn't huge and the electric mower with a grass clippings catcher made it easy.

If you get the opportunity, we highly recommend house sitting for Lee and her fur baby Freckles.

Laura
We were in Laura and Marty's San Clemente home for 26 days and enjoyed every minute. They have a lovely home, in a beautiful location, and so we felt very much like we were on vacation.
Splash was very easy to be with and lots of fun to be around.
We would definitely stay with Splash another time.

Barbara Ann
A dreamy housesit for me! I had a double housesit at a neighboring home in Genesee a few weeks previously, which is an incredibly beautiful area of the foothills of the Rockies, so I already knew the area and had met some of the neighbors; I was very happy to return.
BA (Barbara Ann) and David are super nice people; very friendly and relaxed. I was made to feel at home from the minute I got there until the day I (sadly! :- ) left. The house sits up high with walls of windows looking out onto the mountains. BA keeps several bird feeders on the deck which were constantly visited by gorgeous birds of all kinds. Wild turkeys, deer and elk are also frequent visitors.
Roxie and Zoe are such great company. I loved both of them so much! They are very easy to take care of. Zoe isn't a big fan of long walks - although she did deign to join Roxie and I a couple of times. :- ) Beautiful home, wonderful dogs, stunning scenery. I would love to return.
