We were fortunate to have spent a few weeks in Alan & Judy's beautiful Okanagan home with their adorable pets, Tucker & Sydney. The house is spacious and well appointed with views of Lake Okanagan and Mission Hill winery. We enjoyed the outdoor seating areas, lovely landscaping, and even had weather to allow us to take a few dips in the hot tub. The location makes it easy to tour the area with access to wineries, hiking, lake front walks, restaurants, and shopping. The house is at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac with nice neighbours. We almost never heard the friendly renter downstairs. The home provides a quiet refuge after excursions. Tucker is an adorable dog who was eager to go absolutely anywhere with us. He loves a car ride and is a good little hiker. Sydney was only shy for a couple of days; he soon came out to play and entertain us. Sitting Kendra and Alex’s home was a lovely experience. Kendra left detailed instructions for taking care of their beautiful home and their sweet dogs — Bear and Hunter —including medication for Bear’s occasional symptoms. I never had to guess about anything because she took the time to make sure I was comfortable and that I had easy access to everything the dogs would need. Caring for the dogs was easy and straightforward and I thoroughly enjoyed all of my cuddles by the tv from Hunter. Both dogs are very loving easy to take care of. I would enjoy sitting for Kendra and Alex again and highly recommend them as hosts.
We had a lovely time at Nick & Ginny's! They are a very friendly and easygoing couple and their dogs are very well behaved. We enjoyed staying at their house and there was no trouble whatsoever. Beautiful location next to Knepp estate. Would highly recommend!
What a wonderful sit experience! Linda and Patrick are gracious and thoughtful hosts. Excellent communicators that provided personal as well as written instructions on home and pet care which includes tips on local sites and food options. Siam and Fez are sweet and highly entertaining kittens! A great stay in a beautiful home with stunning views and plenty of kitten love.
We had the absolute best time caring for Serena! We loved our time with her so much and will definitely miss her. She’s a very easy pup who just wants (demands!) belly rubs and cuddles. She took less than half a day to get accustomed to us and after that we were absolute besties! Her parents, Victoria and Jacob, were really kind and helpful with anything we needed during our stay. Victoria was always easy to reach through text to answer any questions we had about the apartment or Serena. The apartment is so cute and located in a beautiful, quiet neighbourhood with a train line very close by. There was also two really good grocery stores and lots of places to eat near by, which was very convenient. We always felt completely safe walking around, even at night. We loved pet/housesitting for them and highly recommend them to anyone who is visiting NYC!
We were delighted to meet Faye and her cute two fur babies. Faye is a friendly person who made us feel welcomed in her beautiful, comfortable, well-equipped, and exquisitely decorated house, located in a quiet neighbourhood with a nice surrounding landscape. She left us clear instructions about the doggies and the house, which made it easy to follow the routine (and it's really easy -this is not a complicated sit). Zora is a love bug who likes to follow you around and is crazy about belly rubs. Trixie is on the shy side, but after a couple of days, she will get a little bit closer to you and lick your fingertips. She LOVES Zora. We were happy to spend time with them and we were thankful for Faye's amazing hospitality. We highly recommend this sit!
