Thanks to Tony for a great pet sit with Nina Izzy, and Bella. They live in such a lovely location. Beautiful nature walks straight out back entrance.. surrounded by nature. Sea swim just a 2 min walk from house. Kenmare is 10 mins away so loads of options. The bedroom is like a hotel room! Would highly recommend to future pet sitters.
We had a wonderful time at Rachel's - her easily accessible, cosy apartment is in a GREAT downtown location and she thoughtfully provided toothbrushes, toothpaste, even sleep masks and ear plugs (that we didn't need) - better than a 5 star hotel! But the best part of all is Milo - who is the sweetest, most affectionate, playful and fun cat that we've ever met. Have you ever seen a cat play fetch - and retrieve the toy for you to throw again? Have you ever had a cat give you nose boops in the first hour of meeting you? Have you ever put a harness on a cat - EASILY? He was sooooo much fun and we missed him when we left. If Rachel has a sit request, you should jump on it - you won't regret it!
Belinda and family made us very welcome to their spacious house with amazing views. Both Cossack and Trojan are lovely, Cossack is blind but he doesn't let that slow him down very much, you just need to keep talking to him so he knows where you are and be ready to say stop if he heads in the wrong direction. There are plenty of great walks near by although you do need a car to reach them. Chickens were no trouble as they don't need letting out or putting to bed. A great sit in beautiful country side - it's close to the M3 but the noise really isn't intrusive.
Leo was a very friendly and chatty cat which made the stay nice. Linda and Jim left clear instructions, was a breeze looking after Leo. The surrounding area was very nice, with lots of amenities and the tube station nearby made it easy to get around. Would definitely recommend this stay.
I feel truly grateful to have been offered the opportunity to do this house sit & look after the darling Mosey as it was such a wonderful experience! Communication with Chris from the start was great, we had a video call initially & as I would be travelling in from the uk, Chris kindly offered me the option to arrive the day before so that we could meet properly & do a thorough handover. She even picked me up from the train station & took me to get some groceries which was so appreciated! I immediately felt welcome in Chris's beautiful cosy home & my stay was incredibly comfortable! I was able to work remotely as well as explore what Denver has to offer, highly recommend visiting Meow Wolf! FYI the public transportation here isn't great but Lyft/Uber were fantastic at getting me to my destinations! And on to the sweet Mosey herself...I mean wow. Mosey has to be one of the easiest cats I've ever had the pleasure of caring for! I adored her and her cute meow chirps! Her food is set up in an automatic feeder, she has a cat flap so comes & goes as she pleases, all that's required is replenishing the water bowels & giving ALL the love which I was more than happy to do! Thank you for trusting me with your furbaby and home Chris, I had the best time and would highly recommend this sit to others!
Jeanette and Archie cats and house was lovely and nice. I have no trouble and unexpected situations. Location is very good. 30 minutes to London with train and 5-7 minutes walk to local shops. Very calm place if you need to restart yourself, to write an essays.
