Heath spent a long weekend at my home taking great care of both dogs and the cat. He was able to help out on rather short notice, and I felt very comfortable leaving my pets in his care. Heath is friendly and reliable and left my home neat and tidy. I would definitely recommend him as a house/pet sitter for future assignments!

From the moment I arrived at Hilary and Ian's place in Stalybridge, I was made to feel very welcome. Their home is extremely comfortable and provides everything a sitter could possibly want. They are a very generous and friendly couple and within no time, I felt like one of the family and a firm friend. The stars of the show however, are the lovely Calum, Tavish and Nevis. All three dogs have very different personalities. There's Cal who's just so chilled ... he decided we were to be joined at the hip for the duration and either followed at my heel or slept soundly with his head on my knee on the sofa. Then Curly Tav, he's the mischievous one of the three, and he knows it! Always wagging his tail and fetching his toys for you to play with him. Lastly, there's the lovely pup Nevis. He's simply a delight to be around. I had the best time watching the dogs interact with each other, with the two elders taking it in turns to amuse the little 'un. A super sit which I'd recommend to anyone, but only if I'm not available to do it again myself. Thank you Vicky
I loved every minute of my sit for Charles and Elizabeth, who were so kind and friendly and great to communicate with. Oscar is the most delightful dog, so well behaved and fun to take out walking amongst the many beautiful country walks near the house. Phoebe the cat is affectionate yet independent and very easy going also. The house is delightful and in a wonderful location.
Kate prepared me for a smooth petsit with detailed communication and informative videos; generous and accommodating. Missy made friends instantly, accompanied by loud purring. Loves strokes and tummy rubs, and her pawing gesture, “More, please!” is so disarming! Unusually for a cat, she comes over when called. What a magnificent, well-equipped home and garden. The large bedroom doubled perfectly for working space. I envy the sitter taking the long April period! I would have gladly done it had I been free.
A wonderful sit for Marcus and the amazing Bodgie. A perfect location for me in the heart of Kenmore surrounded by trees and nature. So many beautiful walks to take Bodgie on (perhaps the best behaved dog in the world??!!) and a glorious pool to cool down afterwards.
Charli is such a spunky well-behaved athletic love bug! We adore her! Stewart and Marlisa are warm and responsive. Their home is beautiful and comfortable...we didn't want to go anywhere! A great sit that we'd do again!

We had made plans to go out of town for several days and I had some very young chickens that I could not just leave unattended. Staci and Michelle came over and did a meet and greet. We went over what needed to be done which was quite a bit! They did everything to a “T”! They sent pictures and kept me up to date everyday which really kept my mind at ease knowing they were in great hands! Staci and Michelle are really fantastic and still watch our chickens!! My husband and I had planned on going on our cruise and we originally had family staying over to watch our dog, but one night didn’t work out and we reached out to Critter Sitters and Staci is amazing! She came over and did a meet and greet with our stubborn Shiba Inu and I knew right away that she would be in good hands. Staci really helped us out of a last minute bind we were in , she watched our dogs for 3 days, they loved her, she loved them, and thought enough of us to send us pics every morning when she came over to show they were happy and playing. We just moved from Texas in December and this last week my father in law passed away and we had to go back to Texas for his funeral. We had no one to take care of our two fur babies (dogs) and Elly Mays Critter Sitters came to the rescue. She was absolutely amazing. This is the second time I have used Elly Mays... I have four very different cats, two of them are what I call the typical scaredy cats, and Staci has gone above and beyond what the job called for. I was gone for almost a week, I got daily communications, photos, comments... she even searched and got pictures of the two elusive ones. The house was Immaculate when I returned... the cats were happy and just as I left them. If you love your animals and treat them like family, you certainly can trust them to Staci and Ellie Mays, because she treats them as family too... she's reasonably priced for the service that she gives... I only used this place recently because my kennel was damaged in the storm. Though the people are nice, the place is not very clean. My dog wound up getting a very nasty skin infection on his tail from some bacteria he picked up there and, despite having all his vaccines, wound up with kennel cough! 300 dollars and a vet visit later I have sworn off going back.
My dog Blue is a walking advertisement for Bark Stars . He gets out of the car and pulls me in there. If anyone driving by sees him they know how excited he is to go there . The staff is phenomenal and Blue loves them and all the other dogs . He gets so excited just driving up to Bark Stars . Blue goes to a park on days he doesn’t go to Bark Stars. We go past Bark Stars. He knows the turn off to Bark Stars and when we make it he is so excited. While he loves the park he prefers Bark Stars . Great place!
My dog had never been to day care or boarded since coming out of a shelter. He loved coming to Bark Stars! And I loved seeing the Facebook pictures when I was at work. The staff was so friendly, and I always felt my dog was taken care of. If we didn’t move, we would still be coming regularly!
I have a very active pup. We were going away for a week. I needed my pup to be taken care of and not just walked 3 times a day. I picked Bark Stars because he would get to spend the day playing with other dogs during the day. When we were gone we saw pictures of him playing ball and hanging in the shade. When I picked him up we were told stories about how fun he was. I felt like my fur kid was in great hands all week. We will definitely be back for play dates.
The only concerns I had was my dog lost her voice over the two night stay, she was very thirsty when she got home,, and seems less active over last 2 days at home.
We love this place and our pups really enjoy going and making friends. My dogs have never been in this type of setting before. A family member or close friend has watched them, so we were unsure how they would adjust. Our dogs loved it so much I’m not sure they wanted to come home when we came to get them! My dog loves going to Bark Stars. She enjoys playing with the other dogs, interacting with the staff, and going outside. The staff is very friendly and caring.. Baths and nail trim appointments can be made while my dog attends day care, making appointments convenient for my work schedule.
So I didn't even go in there today to put my dog up or anything. But I will say after talking with the assistant manager, I would have no problem leaving my dog there at all whatsoever. The people are kind and exactly the type of folks you want taking care of your animal. You can tell that the employees have a lot of passion for what they do. So yes when we're ready to go on vacation I know for a fact these guys will take care of my fur baby just as good as I do!
I’m in Venice for work and I’m unable to bring my Maltese to work with me. She has separation anxiety and I needed a place to leave her during the day. When I picked her up on the first day, she was happy to see me, but was not anxious from being away from me. She also slept all the way home, so I knew she got lots of activity during the day. The next day when I brought her in, she leapt out of my arms into JP’s. I was shocked because she does not do that at her other location. She loves it there and I’m so impressed by them. She’s always clean when I pick her up and in a happy and mood. I would recommend this place to anyone. My dog has been going Monday-Friday for 3 weeks now.
These are the sweetest people in the world! I came into town for a short term work assignment and struggled to figure out what to with my puppy. I started off bouncing her around friends houses and crating her for long periods of time but it became so overwhelming and stressful I seriously considered forfeiting the work and reluctantly decided to take a chance and look into daycares fully expecting it to be an emergency back up option only… But the staff here changed all of that! We go almost every day now and are going to be sad to leave. I am so grateful for the peace of mind during the day and their smiles and excitement when she arrives every morning make me that much more confident that this was the best decision we could have made!! Rachel and Patrick are wonderful! They watched my sweet cat "Willow" a few times for me before he passed away (this was before the Ruff Barn). They were very attentive, caring, and loving to him. Knowing he wasn't feeling his best, I was worried about having to leave him with someone else even for just 24 hours, but Rachel did everything to help me not stress out too much. She kept in touch with me continuously. I highly recommend them!
Our 13-year old chihuahua who has separation anxiety from his "person" (me) found a comfy area right away to relax in this daycare while we explained his habits and feeding schedule to Rachel. Rachel was very attentive and comforted our anxious chihuahua as we left. It is a huge relief and gives us a sense of freedom to know this old and anxious dog is safe and comfy while we are away for the day or weekend! Will definitely be back!

We have 2 Frenchies, one of them is quite old and neither had ever stayed in a kennel before. We had to go out of town for 4 days in July and we were apprehensive about leaving them. We took them to Greencove Acres and we couldn't be happier. I called to check on them while we were away and Kevin called me right back to let me know that they were doing fine. When we picked the dogs up they were clean, they were in good spirits and we were happy that we had found a good kennel. The facility is well maintained, the care givers are very friendly and we highly recommend them.
I have used Kevin and Kelly's services at Greencove several times now, and would recommend them to anyone in the Venice area. They are polite, friendly, and return calls promptly when leaving a voicemail message. My two dogs aren't used to being in a kennel environment and are at ease here in the nice native Florida surroundings, and are let out to enjoy the sun several times a day with other dogs in separate pens. Their rates are affordable and the facility is clean and professional.
We have been boarding our dogs here since the 90’s. It’s just nice and clean and simple. The owners are so nice. My dogs think they’re going to camp. They come home safe and well cared for and happy. I highly recommend them.
Set back off the road under beautiful shade trees, Greencove Boarding Kennel is a great place for your dogs and cats. Friendly and knowledgeable staff treated our dog as if she was one of their own. We were very comfortable leaving our girl in their care.

Have used Greencove the last 4 years for my English Setters when we go on trips from 1 week to 3 weeks. They are excellent!! The dogs are kept in separate runs. And when they go outside for exercise they are also kept separate. They are feed exactly how you ask and each dog gets some attention each day. Dogs are always happy when you pick them up and don't seem to have any nerviousness at all.
Amazing experience, the owners genuinely care for the wellbeing of all the pets, and leave us with confidence when traveling. Thank you!

We recently left our fur baby, Leo, with Walter & Jillian for 12 days while we left for our honeymoon. We’ve never left Leo for this long, let alone had him stay at someone else’s house. We were nervous of course. However, the first day we met Walter & Jillian we knew he would be in great care. Walter & Jillian treated Leo as their own. They took such great care for him. We had no worries on our trip and I genuinely believe Leo had the time of his life with them. They sent us photos throughout the stay and Leo had the biggest smile on his face. Walter and his crew are amazing. Our dog has done overnights a few times and I often wonder if our pup is sad to see us come get him. There is great communication and care throughout the entire stay. So thankful for this great company, highly recommend this company and their services!

Fetch! Pet Care Sarasota is awesome! Our cat sitter not only fed our cats and cleaned their litterbox, he also provided mental stimulation and physical exercise each day. Lots of photos were taken and really made us feel comfortable while we were away. I would HIGHLY reccomend!!!
I have used Fetch Pet Care for over 3 years and have never been disappointed with the care provided. Most recently, Tammie and Sara provided extended coverage sending daily updates and pictures of my feline “children “. They took care to ensure our home was clean of the kitty litter which the cats tend to track around. They provided additional services such as watering our plants and setting out the garbage as we left a few days before. They even asked if they should be getting the mail though we had stopped it. It’s a comfortable feeling knowing we can leave and our loved ones are being well taken care of.
My dogs both have special needs, one has tons of allergies and the other one has hip dysplasia and arthritis. Walt and Jillian are really good at following all the medicine and individualized feeding instructions both of my dogs have, and its a lot! Plus they have a very dog friendly home and they spoil my dogs with love while they are boarded there.
Beware! I would give this place zero stars if it was an option. this place is extremely filthy, barely any AC for the dogs and cats. This is not a resort. I believe these people are ripping people off, and not promising what you're paying for. They can be passive aggressive and extremely rude if your point out anything health hazardous to the well being of the animals. Also witnessed the owners (husband and wife) being passive aggressive and verbally abusive towards the two female employees. if they do that to their employees than i wonder how they "actually treat" your pets. I had made a post before, "somehow" they took it down. Will keep reporting this place till something is done or they are "retired "
We board our dog and two cats at Just 4 Paws for every vacation we take. The staff and owners are extremely reliable, always available, and very pleasant people. Great value and many add on options for dogs! We had extra walks and a bath for ours - she came back smelling great and looking super happy. Our cats love to look out the windows from the tops of the cat trees and hardly want to leave. Highly recommend!
We had our two cats boarded for an exceptionally long time because of our move and we couldn't have been happier with our experience with Just 4 Paws. They clearly loved and cared for our cats like they were their own. We visited often, and each time we came we were met with welcoming smiles. Our cats had an actual room of their own with toys and cat trees looking over a beautiful lake. The room was always super clean and you could tell the cats loved them too because every time they saw their faces the cats lit up knowing they were going to get cuddles and let out to run around. Just 4 Paws is the best! The owners are very friendly and accommodating. They have great air conditioned garden rooms with grassy play and potty areas. We have used this pet resort many times and our dogs Lucy and Greta always enjoy going here. We also know our fur babies will be well taken care of here... We actually have them booked for an upcoming getaway! Greta our dachshund even has a pack of doxies to play with when she visits.
Our two dogs have been guests at Just 4 Paws several times over the past 2.5 yrs. When we pull up the lane, Ringo and Pixie just start going crazy with anticipation. How many times do dogs actually love to go to the kennel? Ours do. They are able to have a spa room together where it is climate controlled and they have their own yard. we have also used the junior suites for them which they loved equally. Maya and Marcus treat our babies like two of their own. We have boarded them for long weekends as well as several weeks duration. Each time the kids have come home happy and healthy. We have peace of mind while we are travelling knowing the kids are well cared for.
The folks that own and run this boarding place are really nice, and it is obvious that they care very much about the animals housed there. As well, you can pay a little extra for your animal to have additional one on one play time, which is a nice touch. The only drawbacks were their cash only policy, and the cat enclosure room smelt extremely strongly of cat spray. . . But perhaps that's normal. Plus their cat enclosure area is lots of soft furnishing items and my cat didn't seem to mind the smell.

I love this pet resort!! We bring our dog rocky here and the owners take such good care of him. They take him for walks, make sure he is fed and play with him. When rocky comes home he is so tired from a fun filled day. The owners are such good caring people, at the drop of a dime they are willing to take rocky. My work schedule can be tough sometimes so it's good to know that Just 4 Paws is always there for us. Thank you for the impeccable care of our pet!!!
My dog went to this place during Thanksgiving holidays and I felt very cheated. He spent 4 nights and they charged me like it was 5 nights which is very annoying and not fair. Also they are telling in the website that is a luxury pet resort and it is very very dirty. My dog came back home so dirty and his bed was disgusting, smelling really bad. I had to pay $265 per 4 nights that is $66 per day, when most of the other places that look so much better and are much cleaner are charging between $43 and $46 per day. I don’t trust all the other reviews. I think that they are not real. This is my experience and I hope can help others to choose better the place for their dogs.

We are so very thankful for Driftwood Kennels! The owner, Rita, and staff Danielle and Meghan are AMAZING! They truly love animals and have a special way with them. We are confident our pups are well taken care of while they are there. It is so cool to arrive and have the staff actually kneel down to greet our pups and for the pups to run happily up to see them. A special thanks to Danielle who went out of her way in helping ease our anxiety of having to leave our new young puppy for the first time. He did awesome ( we knew he was in great hands) and his siblings once again had a great stay!
Have been taking my dogs here for almost 7 years, I can NOT say enough wonderful things about the staff! All I have to do is say any of their names and my dogs are at the door ready to go! When we get there they can not wait to get inside the building. They are very kind to all the pets and they treat them all like their own. I HIGHLY recommend Driftwood Kennels to anyone who wants to know their fur baby is in a loving safe environment when they need to be boarded or just for day care too!

Would not take my shepherd anywhere else . The staff is great with all the dogs my boy runs in
We took our Afghan ,Maggie ,there for cremation. The staff is so respectful and courteous. Couldn't be more pleased with the way they handle everything.
I can not say enough good things about this place. Staff is amazing. My dog is difficult, and they handle her with ease. In case she has a bad day, they do offer no touch kennels. I'm so glad my friend Amy recommended this place. Totally thrilled for my dogs next visit!
I wouldn't give them any stars . Our dog died 2 days after being boarded here. They never called our emergency contacts when she became ill. Temp of 105. Don't trust them with your dog or any animal.
Not recommended. My dog came home with 105.1.temperature. In hospital and she passed away. No response from thekennel.ive called kennel to why they did not call our emergency contact and said we don't do that unless dog.is laying down and can't get up. Very unsympathetic and refused to give me owners name. Gave them vets information and blamed her passing on us. In order to do this post I had to post one star. They don't deserve it. I wanted other owners to be aware. Both of our dogs were filthy.our little Bichons leg wakennel advised that they dont call emergency contacts. Then why do they ask for it.s completely raw. Our hearts are brokenAnd angry how kennel has responded.
Have been taking my German Shepard there for 5 years and it is the only place I will go. Love the no other dog contact policy and the staff treats my dog great. Cannot recommend them enough.
Driftwood is a wonderful, caring place. My Tibetan Terrier loves coming here. The staff clearly loves the furry visitors. Highly recommend them.
When finding a place to board your dog, it can often be a stressful endeavor. However, JJ’s dog yard daycare and boarding, helped alleviate much of that stress! Before we even got the opportunity to board our chocolate lab, Lily, we did a meet and greet. Not only did I think that this was a smart move so they could know for sure that Lily was someone they could take care of, but it also showed a deep understanding on how to take care of a dog with maximum efficiency and care. We were sent pictures and videos daily of Lily enjoying her time there and she looked like she was having a ball! (And sometimes taking one 🤣) While it made us miss our baby even more, it made us happy to see she was being treated as if she was part of the family. My usual complaint with dog boarding services is that during the night they are unattended and there’s not someone on site who can deal with an issue should it arise. Luckily, JJ’s had someone on-site the whole time which served to ease the worry of my girlfriend and I. Lily was boarded for seven days and came back a happy girl and that’s really all we can ask for. Thank you so much for an amazing experience, and you best believe I’ll be using their services in the future. I cannot recommend JJ’s enough for people who want that little bit of extra care for their furry family member.
Jennifer and Julian were awesome with our dogs. We got daily text and pictures/videos so I could see how they were doing. Our dogs loved it there. The prices were fair and I love that my dogs were like part of the family and not locked in a kennel all day like other places. I would highly recommend them, they work with your schedule and they get spoiled and come home happy. Can’t ask for much more than that. As an added bonus Jennifer makes super homemade healthy dog treats, my dogs very much enjoy them🐶
Jennifer and Julian provided the best possible experience for our Sophia the 12 days of her visit. It was also great for me because every day (some times even more) sent pix and a story from Sophia & how she spent her day. I new she was very happy there & was experiencing new activities. We will continue to use them when we travel & do some day care as well for her to enjoy interacting with other dogs and her “second family”.
Jennifer and Julian did an awesome job watching our 11month pup Ben. We were able to relax knowing that they treated him as one of their own. We even got daily texts with videos and pictures for us to see how well he was fitting in and how relaxed he was in their home. I will definitely recommend them and be using them again!
I cannot rave enough about Jennifer & Julian! They watched our two dogs back in December over the holidays at our home on a pretty short notice. They came twice a day for an hour each time to feed them and make sure they had water and even took them on walks! (We have a doggy door so the dogs always have access to the yard to go potty). And they always sent pictures or videos of how they were doing. It was my first time leaving the dogs in the hands of anyone other than family but my mind was at ease the whole time knowing they were in good hands!
Our dogs Roxy and Buddy stayed with Jennifer and Julian for an overnight. They were both very comfortable staying in Jennifer and Julian’s home. Buddy made himself soooooo at home that he practically adopted Jennifer as his own, and I think he would have happily stayed with her if we never came back! Ha! They both send messages and pictures to keep you updated on what your dogs are up to. The dogs have access to indoors and outdoors. It is a home family environment rather than a kennel. Very communicative, which I love - puts my mind at ease. Our dogs loved it and we will be back!
My pups were very happy at JJ’s. We had to board them elsewhere a few weeks prior unexpectedly and my lab wouldn’t come near me for days after. After being with Jen and Julian they were happy, tired and we had no issues with them being disgruntled lol. They treat them like their own.
We left our Labradoodle with JJ’s for the first time, and we have already booked her next stay! Jennifer sent notes and photos every single day! We felt so good about Gracie being there! We are VERY picky about who takes care of our “baby”, and JN’s surpassed our expectations!!! Will recommend them to everyone! She’s home and exhausted!!! We always say, a tired puppy is a good puppy! ❤️❤️
I have called and left messages for JJ's Dog Yard & Boarding so I may board my dog. I chose this company based off the 5 star reviews. However I am very disappointed that not one person has called me back to even let me know if they have the availability or not. Unfortunately I will have to take my business elsewhere. Are you even in business?
Jennifer and Julian helped me out tremendously when I was in a jam. They were very good to Olaf and Moxie. Their prices are fair and they kept to their word. If I had any thing to recommend for improvementit would be that they would open a full-time business for working business professionals. The daycare hours are not in line with people who work a 8am - 5pm shift.I will definitely recommend them and hire them again if my work hours can line up.
