A truly magnificent house!!! You can even feel the love the family shares when they are gone. If you are lucky enough to get to sit for this adorable bernedoodle and her older brother you will not regret it. She loves the water and can play all day long. But when it’s time to come in a calm down she really understands. They also somehow convinced their third fur baby a cute cat to be as cuddly as a dog. We were very grateful to have had the chance to take care of their animals and home. Five stars and would come back in a heartbeat if they asked. Justine and JR
We were welcomed warmly by Suzanne and Richard, having met them previously for a pre-sit meeting. They provided us with all relevant information including a detailed map of the walks in the area which came in very handy. We had a really enjoyable stay at Suzanne and Richard's lovely home set in an extraordinary garden nestled within the beautiful Suffolk countryside. It was comfortable, warm and cosy and the sun room, with its views across the gardens was a great place to chill out and do some reading. Walking the dogs (Darcy and Opie) was easy from the start as the walks went straight from the front door through woods and meadow into the grounds of an estate, thus avoiding any traffic. Darcy was content to meander close to us whilst Opie thought she could climb trees in pursuit of squirrels! Both dogs were really well-behaved and walked like well brought-up ladies both on and off the lead. Meanwhile, Brea was content to remain back at base with gentle strolls around the garden. If you're lucky enough to be invited to sit for Suzanne and Richard we're sure you'll have a memorable experience.
That was an amazing housesitting. First of all Nellie and Tian were so nice with us. Tian cooked us dinner the first night and together with Nellie they did what they could to make us feel like home. Really nice couple that we would happily meet anytime. The house is really comfortable, warmy and had all you could ever need. Located in a really friendly neighbourhood and really close to the train station. We also had bikes but unfortunately the weather was not the best for biking. And to the stars of the show. Kolbe and Riley! Man, Kolbe is so cute. He can make you melt just by looking you in the eyes. Riley is the troublemaker and we loved him for his energy and playfulness. We were so sad to leave them but we have taken back with us some amazing memories. Overall, we highly recommend this housesitting and next time we are in the Netherlands we will definitely go by the house to say hi to those cutties (and you too guys, don't be jealous). Thank you for everything!
Perre and I had such a fun time with Sky the dog. She loved her walks, accompanying us on adventures around town, and playing ball outdoors. She is an ideal dog. Alison and Lisa have a spacious, lovely home in a beautiful neighborhood with plenty of restaurants and stores nearby to enjoy. We particularly loved sitting in the outdoor hot tub and enjoying the serenity of their backyard. We highly recommend housesitting for Lisa and Alison.
Hetty is a lovely cat and is very easy to look after. Fran has a beautiful home and it is very conveniently located to the train, underground and local bus service. I spent a lot of time relaxing in the splendid garden. There is a good variety of shops within walking distance. I would gladly sit for Hetty again.
Duke and Prince were a joy to care for! They were both very sweet and friendly - especially when Prince was being fed and Duke was enjoying the massage gun. It was easy to let them out for their daytime frolics in the community. Lauren was warm and welcoming and a breeze to communicate with throughout my stay. I hope to sit for Lauren again sometime in the future!

Couldn’t have asked for more when putting my two into boarding for a week for the first time. Maria made sure they felt safe and confident in their temporary home and let me go away feeling that they would be safe and cared for. Only problem was collecting them - they’d settled in so well and were so pampered I’m pretty sure they didn’t want to leave. Massive thanks to Maria - excellent service, professional, knowledgeable and dependable from start to end. Would use again and again.
This Lady did an Exceptional job of looking after my dog at very short notice. Nothing was to much for her if she could, and did, go out of her way to make sure my pet Max was well cared for in a safe and professional manner.
I have been lot's off vet's with my boy but these are the best go out there way to help
Great place
We can't believe how lucky we've been to find Suzi at Dashing Dogs to look after our Cocker Spaniel, Beau.We have total peace of mind whilst we're away in the knowledge that he is having a great holiday too! It really is a home from home, with exciting walks and new friends, regular updates and lots of love and care. Thank you Suzi, Dougie & your family for looking after him so well. Know he's already looking forward to his next stay!
Our Cocker spaniel loves spending time with Suzi at Dashing Dogs. We know that he is loved and that Suzi takes fantastic care of him which means we have peace of mind when he isn't with us ❤️
We were very pleased with the care our cat received during her two night stay at Bohemia Boarding recently. She was well looked after and the staff were very good at keeping us informed of her wellbeing, due to it being her first time at a cattery. She had a warm and well equipped, secure pen in a modern and clean environment. Would definitely use again. Many thanks.
This was the first time that we had placed our cat, Poppy, in this particular cattery. It was superb. We went to have a look at it first and the staff couldn't have been nicer. They showed us around and where Poppy would be staying. It was spotlessly clean, bright and welcoming. Even had a little background music playing. We couldn't believe how much effort and time was taken to look after the cats there. We would thoroughly recommend it. Poppy was well looked after and we would definitely use them again.
I left my cat in the Cattery for 5 days and I truly recommend the facilities. The pods are spotless… my cat had a window to view outside and he could also see the neighbours either side as I was able to take in his tree as he uses it all the time at home. When we came to collect him he didn’t want to leave and for the first time ever didn’t want to go in his carrier…(he loves his pet carrier) and then made a fuss in the car for the short journey home. Obviously he had a great time and I have no worries when goes again after Christmas… thank you Bohemia
It is with sadness that I have to say that Bohemia Boarding was neither socially unconventional nor artistic in the case of our dogs. They are, perhaps, best suited for well behaved smaller dogs. Despite being representatives of the RSPCA and as such held in high esteem by the general public they were unable to keep our reactive dogs for their full 4 day stay. Our COVID dog had to be removed by a family member, causing us worry and distress whilst away, the larger GSD was reluctantly kept for their full stay. Communication at the Kennel was very poor, for example, we were told that all was well at one point and on arriving to pick up the GSD the receptionist thought they still had both dogs! We have had no offer of a refund for the shortened stay of our COVID dog. The concerning behaviour mentioned to us on picking up the GSD has never been observed at kennels, not run by the RSPCA, in The Midlands. We are left with no other port of call for boarding our dogs on the IOW now we’ve been banned. On a positive final note: The staff we met were friendly and pleasant. The initial booking was made by telephone, the receptionist going out of her way to make sure they had a kennel to offer, available and the opportunity to give us a break. We are regular supporters and donators to the RSPCA and ardent supporters of animal welfare.
Samara, my cat has stayed at Bohemia Boarding several times, and each time I returned to collect her, she has been very relaxed and happy. Thank you very much to Vanessa, to take the time to give me updates and photos of her. It is very clean and with the caring staff, I know I can go away reassured that Samara will be well looked after. Thank you everyone.
My cat was recently housed here for a week. The premises look very clean but unfortunately my pet was housed in a small pen with no chance of exercise as there was no access to an enclosed outside environment. I didn't see if there was a window looking out, otherwise the only outlook was into the lobby. I paid half the money up front, as requested but was constantly chased by email for the balance, despite it being agreed that payment could be made on drop off. I must have around 10 emails over a 4 week period. Despite bringing this to the staff's attention, I kept receiving the communication and I was told it was how the system worked. May I suggest, try and change your system. I was also phoned a few times for the same request. On a good note, I was able to drop off my pet outside the allocated daily hour window of opportunity. Collection is also an hourly window allocation. Sadly on collection my pet was quite distressed ; this I have never seen before during his previous stays in other facilities. Staff were overall friendly.
What a fantastic place for your pet to stay . Very friendly , caring staff who I found my cat smoothing around when his stay was over and being collected. He had obviously been fussed over !! He looked happy and healthy and I will have no worries about leaving him here again. Thank you all very much ! 😻
Fantastic…… I was really worried about changing kennels but I needn’t have been. I was greeted by friendly, knowledgeable staff and shown around very clean and spacious kennels. When we took the dogs in for their first stay the staff played with them and put them and us at ease. When we collected them they were happy and clean and well looked after. Regular stays are planned. Thank you all Jan and Malc Perryman…. Toby and Theo 🐾🐾🐾🐾
RSPCA boarding for small mammals set in beautiful surroundings. Lovely caring staff. Good lodgings each with window & ares for Food/ sleeping / litter tray etc. Excess money made goes back into the charity, which is nice & allows air con lodgings & food of choice for your pet etc.
Our 4 cats stayed for a short break last week while we moved house. We were greeted by Lorraine on checking them in and she made a careful note of their individual requirements. We were a bit stressed ourselves as our cats hadn’t boarded before, but after meeting Lorraine and settling the cats in we left feeling they would be absolutely fine! When we collected them on departure we were met by Vanessa who had them all ready in their carriers for us with their beds, waiting for a swift set off to catch the ferry. It certainly made our move more manageable! The accommodation looked very secure, clean and calm. We can recommend Bohemia Boarding to anyone, Jane and Colin 🙂😺😻🐈⬛
My dog has been going here for 3 yrs. Really can't fault them.he arrives wagging his tail he's taken off to play ball so less stress for him when I leave and comes home happy. In previous kennels he would come home sick. They are so caring and accommodating especially as my dog has medical issues. I feel lucky to have them
Amazing place and amazing staff. Booked our two amazing Dallys in for their holiday. We needed a pre meet with our new girl and the staff were amazing. So friendly and it clear all they are interested in is the welfare of the dog and the care they displayed and give is second too number. We have travelled from afar to keep the dogs at this amazing place. Thank you for everything you do. See you soon Lilly and Mable
Not impressed at all, they done nothing but moan about our dog. Apparently she barked too much, when she was locked up, got over excited when they took her out for exercise and they accused our dog for biting one of them and she’s 11 months old! If you don’t like what you do then do something else, don’t take it out on customers dogs!!
Our young weirmaraner puppy loves going to west over kennels he’s been several times always happy to go Good staff and dogs are very well cared for. Highly recommend
Fantastic, knowledgeable, affectionate care from very experienced people. Plenty of exercise and individual attention tailored to each dog I trust Angela and Robert and their team totally with the care of my dogs and have done so for almost 20 years ! Plus they are always returned to me clean, groomed and happy . This is an excellent boarding kennel. Highly recommended
Best kennels we've found on the Isle of Wight, so have used them for our two dogs every holiday for several years. They come back home not at all stressed. Can't recommend them more highly.
Have used them a few times for a few nights at a time. Very professional and well organised. My bonkers border collie actually goes nuts with excitement when we pull up so i know she has a good time there. Thanks to all the gang there.
Thank you so much for looking after our Joe, highly recommend these kennels, they even put some photos on Facebook so we could see him, really friendly staff, kennels lovey and clean, and plus they get to run around off lead in their enclosed field, we have now found the perfect place for our boy to go when we go away ❤️
Westview, just wanted to thank you all for looking after our Elvis. We could not have asked for a better experience. We were really nervous about leaving our staffy for the first time and having checked out a number of other kennels we are so glad we chose you. The care and attention and love you show for each dog is amazing. Kennels are warm and clean, each guest has his/her personal needs attended to and they are loved and cared for like they are your own. The updates on Facebook were just above and beyond.
Our young dog has had several stays ranging from 2 days to a week and is always super happy to arrive and is obviously well cared for and happy when we pick her up.
Charlotte is fantastic with are dog, and he loves her. he looks forward to his walks with her and comes home tired and happy :). She puts photos and videos up on facebook and instagram so we can see our dog having fun, and always walks him with dogs of a similar energy/chaos level! See attached photo of our happy sleepy dog.
We couldn’t thank Doggos Day Out Founder Charlotte enough for looking after our Puppy Cocker-Spaniel Barney while away on our honeymoon. Charlotte gets dogs and we wouldn’t hesitate for a second in recommending her to anyone in need of a dog-sitter. 5 stars are not enough!
Our cockapoo loves his walks with Charlotte. She takes him to some lovely spots on the island, and he always has a blast! Charlotte is super friendly, communicative and professional with the humans too. :)
While Eric was in the care of Charlotte, she encouraged him to come out of his shell. He became less anxious around other dogs and “sometimes” joined in their play. Charlotte is very kind, calm and patient, which is just what Eric needed. I thoroughly recommend Doggos day out.
Charlotte has been brilliant with our dog, who absolutely loves her! Charlotte always turns up and takes him out with other dogs of a similar nature. He really enjoys his walks, Charlotte puts videos and photos on Facebook and Instagram showing the dogs on their walks, which is lovely to see. Our dogs recall has also improved since he's been out with Charlotte 😁. Thank you Doggos Day Out for a great service 💙
Charlotte has taken Bobbie for a couple of walks now. He is a nervous rescue dog who is anxious and over reactive with other dogs. On Bobbie's second walk she already had him out walking calmly with another dog! Charlotte is trustworthy and reliable. Highly recommend.
Cannot recommend Doggo's Day Out enough. They provided a 24 hour house sitting service for our house, puppy, cat and rabbits for two weeks while we were in the USA and were simply fantastic! The cat was unwell while we were away and they were fantastic at getting her the veterinary attention and medications she needed. Took the stress out of our holiday knowing our babies were in such good and capable hands! 100% recommend!
Excellent service and 5 star care, we were away for 2 weeks and I don't think Milly our cat even noticed. Thoroughly recommend Doggos Day Out to look after your pet.
Charlotte at Doggo's Day Out has been amazing socializing our chocolate Labrador he now goes on walks with other dogs without any problems . Thank you Charlotte both our dogs love going out with you and I love seeing the photos of all the different s walks they go on.
Charlotte is fabulous. Our dogs absolutely love her and get so excited for their walks. I know they’re well looked after and in good hands. Charlotte is friendly, reliable and trustworthy, couldn’t ask for more. Would highly reccomend.
First time we've used this cattery but won't be the last. Penny seems to have thoroughly enjoyed herself and has come home happy and contented. The cat apartments are spacious and very clean and when we arrived to collect her she was happily sat on a windowsill outside in her enclosed run birdwatching. Definitely can recommend.
Karen takes such great care of our fur babies! We have no worries when we are away leaving them with her. She has gone out of her way to make sure they have the best place to stay and are kept happy.
Thank you Karen and the staff for looking after our cat We will certainly bring him back
Our Kitten stayed at Cooks Castle Farm Cattery for four nights, we were really impressed. It's a great facility, very clean and newly refurbished with outside access for the cats. Karen is very caring and obviously loves the cats. We felt our cat was in good hands and it's very reasonably priced too.
This is the only cattery I would leave my cat Pheobe with. The owners are lovely. Karen is an extremely kind lady and she takes good care of the resident cats. The cattery is very clean and each cat pen has a chair, little house complete with knitted blanket, and a good size outside run. Highly recommend 🐾 😻 …
Cooks Castle is an outstanding Cattery. The love and care given to our furbaby during their visit was brilliant. 100% recommended
A professional place run by a really caring and considerate woman. I arrived after the closing time and really thought I'd be stuck but luckily a really helpful and pleasant young lady from the farm helped check me in. Cats came back happy and well looked after. Reasonably priced place too. Would highly recommend! Thank you!
Can't thank-you enough for looking after our 2 babies over Christmas. It's the only time they looked like they'd been looked after. and we're happily settled in as soon as we were home . Thank you so much This will be the only place we use in the future. Lindy X
Karen is lovely and my cat loves her! Lovely clean and comfy pens and I never worry about leaving my cat in her care
Karen was fantastic with looking after our cat Holly couldn't have been more helpful. Will be taking Holly there again in the future.
