Had such a relaxing time here with Taco, Princess and the chickens! Taco warmed up to me right away while Princess was a bit shy so I gave her space and she ended up letting me pet her and coming very close! The chickens were so much fun to be around each day. The house was so super clean and comfortable. Belinda was a joy to communicate with. I would totally love to come back anytime and highly recommend this sit.

Ziggy and Ted were both very easy to care for – completely different personalities but very cute, affectionate and a joy to just sit with and cuddle. Ziggy is an elderly gentleman and deaf but just a wonderful cat. Ted (Teddy) was a bundle of fluff and talkative. Both boys loved to be combed and were competitive to get attention and a place on my lap...... Helen and Richard were so welcoming, warm and hospitable. I felt immediately at ease. Communication before and during the sit was excellent – even when I had to communicate with them whilst away about the alarm that caused an unforeseen issue. The Welcome Guide was extremely thorough but again Helen and Richard went over everything with me before departing so I had time to ask any questions. The home is lovely and comfortable with a great kitchen, dining, sitting area – so light but equally warm, due to the underfloor heating (the cats loved this feature) The house is in a lovely village location with amazing woods and walks nearby – a great place to just be. There is also an excellent bus service to Reading if needs be, which was good for me as I did not have a car. I am so thankful I was chosen for this sit and had the time to be with Ted and Ziggy – I became very attached to them. If you get to do a sit for Helen and Richard you are guaranteed a great time – nothing is too much trouble. Thank you for everything.
Sitting Jackie & Nat was a wonderful experience and a lot of fun as both are very friendly, talkative, and warm up quickly. Of course, they have their own personalities, but both are active, enjoy playing, chasing, long pets and snuggling up. Whether working in the office or chillin’ on the sofa, they wanted to hang wherever I was. I felt welcomed and right at home. 😊 Dryw is easy going and overall great to work with. Her home is cozy, has everything you need, safe and close to restaurants, grocery, and all the sites of DC. The area is very walkable but there are also loads of public transportation options at her doorstep including trains, buses, scooters, and bikes. I look forward to being invited back!
Our week with Pascal, Remy and Meggie was just perfect! While Pascal and Remy mostly relax and want to be petted, Meggie keeps you active and is always up and ready to play 😃 Sheri is also a wonderful host. She provided us all necessary information and her hospitality is really outstanding 😊
Bernadette and Peter are the most friendly welcoming hosts you can imagine. Communication before (video call) and during the sit was excellent. I was invited the night before the sit and I was taken out for a lovely meal in Haworth. The handover was perfect and I felt at home immediately. The home is wonderful and full of character. The kitchen is new and has everything you need. The main lounge has a big TV and a great log burner. My bedroom was so comfortable and quiet, I slept like a baby. The local area is stunning, full of natural beauty and historical significance. I did so many walks and covered all the main Bronte walks and places of interest. Haworth and surrounding villages are beautiful. I really did feel connected to the area and its history. The stars of the show are of course Misty and Tux, 2 adorable cats, so warm and friendly. After a day or so both will enjoy cuddles and sitting next to you on the sofa. They are lovely and no trouble at all. I miss them already!! haha. If you want a sit with wonderful hosts, in an area of natural beauty with adorable cats, then I highly recommend this sit
This is a lovely house to sit with the most gorgeous kitty- very easy going and affectionate. There is a huge garden to enjoy being in on sunny days, or a conservatory for not so nice weather. James left good instructions and was very welcoming. Wooten under edge is such a pretty village with lots of beautiful walks to explore the area. Would very much recommend this sit.
