Such a great stay close to bus stop and train station to get to anywhere. Walking distance to grocery store, coffee shops and local restaurants. Amazing host, great communication and cozy home. Kitties were self sufficient inside and out and loving and enjoyable to spend time with. Highly recommend.

Paul and Sarah
Paul and Sarah are excellent hosts. Communication was great before and during the sit and we were warmly welcomed on our arrival and treated to a very tasty supper.
They left clear instructions both about Milo's care and their beautiful home and a very helpful map of Rute, the local town.
This was our first experience of looking after a tortoise and although he's a quiet sole, we became very fond of him, chatting to him whenever we were outside.
Sarah and Paul have a very comfortable and spacious home with a great pool and a magnificent view over Lake Iznajar. Our camera was quite worn out!
We can highly recommend this sit.

Cynthia
Our experience with Cynthia and her kitties was quite pleasant, easy going and enjoyable. Cynthia has a nice place about 10 minutes walking from the inter coastal waterway. She had the place ready for our arrival with clear instructions, fresh bed sheets and covers, food in the fridge, and very nice welcome with flowers and yum chocolate box 😋She even asked her neighbour to feed the outside cats the day we were arriving to release us from any stressful rush.
I know, she is a Super nice person! 😍
Both her indoor and outdoor cats are lovely and super easy. Fifi, one of the two indoor cats, needs her own time and distance to warm up and come to you, but she is also such a sweetie.
Cynthia has a nice garden with vegetables and kitchen herbs that gets watered automatically and has encouraged us to enjoy any veg or herbs out there as we please. Her place has a nice breeze as you are fairly close to water. you also get to see a cute opossum in her garden if you are lucky 😍
Cynthia was always available as needed. At the time of our departure, Cynthia made sure to arrive earlier to meet us; she has kindly asked us not to worry about washing bed sheets or making the bed for her the way she has done for us. She even very generously offered us to leave luggages at her place for much later pick up to save as the time and trouble of going to store them somewhere before heading to our following two house sits..
We would love to be back to Cynthia’s and be with her lovely kitties.

Leila
I had a lovely stay at Leila and Stephen's warm, comfortable, and beautiful house with its great gardens and woodlands beyond their land. Instructions, both via welcome guide and Leila's own written one were clear and concise regards the workings and care for both the animals and home. The two ponies, which were turned out for the summer, looked after themselves and approached as we passed by for their daily treat/carrot.
The dogs, super gentle, so well behaved. Each one of the animals real characters and a joy to 'sit'.
Leila and Stephen, thanks for trusting me with your precious ones!

Christiane
We had a very very good time with Christiane and her lovely pack of animals!
We had the chance to spend a few days with Christiane where she showed us around the island and was a very generous host!
We then spent 2 weeks alone with the dogs and cats which we enjoyed from the beginning till the end. The “work” was wayyy easier than we anticipated. We walked the dogs, fed them (we walked them in groups of 4 and sometimes drove to the beach with most of them together) and fed the cats daily. The dogs are very lovely, easy going and friendly :) Although they all have different personalities, they get along well and are easy to take care of. Tho both of us had our unspoken favourites ;)
The cats are either very friendly or shy which makes it not difficult at all to care for them.
Once you find a routine that fits you and the dogs it’s fun and easy for 2 people! We enjoyed every bit of it.
We slept in a nice room downstairs but spent most of our time at the mai house with the dogs or sunbathing at the beach which is just a minute away. Christiane’s house is huge and has a big garden to it. We preferred spending our time in the village rather than driving around greece.
We had close contact to Christiane and felt fully trusted.
She’s a very special human being and it was a pleasure to meet her.

Thank you Christiane for this opportunity, we wish all the best for you and your animals and we’d love to come back (we actually mean that)!
Take care and send love to the dogs <3

See you soon!
