Barbara was just so enthusiastic and a font of information/fun. She kept us updated about the ‘boys’ and we even managed to get a lesson in about the game of cricket when we got back from our trip. We have also invited her to stop over on her way back to the airport, so I think that says it all 😊👍
Keith and Sue made us feel welcome from the moment we met. Keith was excellent at communicating in the months prior to the sit start and while they were away. Their home is comfortable, clean and the garden is peaceful and private. Neighbours were friendly and helpful. Nala has such personality that she made us smile and laugh every day. She likes her walks, beach runs, playing and is content to cuddle while you rest. If we could have fit her in our suitcase we would have. She is one of the most delightful dogs we have ever cared for. Abby is an easy care cat. There is a large supermarket, a smaller grocer and also a weekly farmers market. Timi is a great village with good restaurants and coffee places. The Treehouse restaurant/pub at the end of the street has good food, karaoke night, games and excellent chance for fellowship. Use of the car allowed us to venture to local sites and explore the culture. You can also easily catch a bus into Paphos. Thank you Keith and Sue for this opportunity to care for Nala, Abby and your home and experience Cyprus. We hope our paths meet again.
This was a great sit! We were lucky to spend time with Melane and Rick beforehand to go over the house and the girls routines. Mila and Gaji are the sweetest—full of fun loving energy. They love the dog park across the street and also hillside walks in the beautiful Noe neighborhood and beyond. You can’t beat the views here and it is enjoyable spending time working from home and simply looking out at the view. A car could be helpful though we were able to get by fine without one, as there’s a lot walking distance if you don’t mind a hill or two. The house is impeccably designed and well maintained with lots of work space and great connectivity. Communication with Melane was excellent throughout. We would love to stay again if the opportunity aligned!
Nice basement apt. in a great neighborhood, minutes walking to old Newmarket. Mr Bean and Sadie love human company, Sadie is more shy but will warm up to you soon and comes for cuddles. Sue is a wonderful host, very responsive and accommodating. I highly recommend this housesit.
It was a joy to sit with Tito in the fabulous house near the lake west of Austin. The hues room and bath were well appointed with a very comfortable bed. The house is on acreage so you do not see or hear neighbors. Kat left a detailed summary of all he house and doggie details. She was easy to communicate with and receptive. Tito was initially stand-offish but warmed up within a day and couldn’t have been more pleasant. He loved riding in the car, walking around the park and snuggling on the couch. He responded we to commands, went out through his doggie door and readily jumped in bed with me. I would liv to sit with Tito again.
I had a great time while sitting the pets of Rebecca. The house ist very pretty and the area ist nice to go for long walks and experience the beautiful city Heidelberg nearby. The pets are really cute and uncomplicated. Especially Teddy is a super lovely dog. Rebecca has welcomed me very kindly und left me with a good feeling. I would definitely recommend taking care of her home and pets!
