We spent over a week at David and Lisa's house, taking care of their two dogs and enjoying the marvellous premises in the most idyllic British countryside. After a warm welcome, David and Lisa explained very clearly the nature of our tasks, which included the dog sitting, mowing the lawn and watering some flowers.

The dogs, Monty and Digger, are friendly, relaxed and well trained. We enjoyed the good weather by walking with them along several, publicly accessible footpaths connecting Newton Valance to the neighbouring villages. We had to rent a car in order to reach David and Lisa's house, since no public transport is serving the village. Nonetheless, we drove just once to buy groceries and spent the rest of the time relaxing in the garden or exploring the surroundings on foot.

The dogs can be walked on leash without much effort and it is possible to enjoy a nice meal while they lay under the table in the bier gardens (the pubs in the area are very dog-friendly). In conclusion, whether you are looking for a calm home-office solution or simply a nice time in the beautiful Hampshire’s countryside, we warmly suggest you to sitting at David and Lisa's.
