Stunning, hilltop panoramic view is captivating. If you want to tuck away in a remote location, this is it! Yet, there are neighbors relatively close by so you won’t feel completely isolated. A short drive takes you to coveted destinations o’ plenty. Stephanie is so relaxed and easy to communicate with. She’s quickly responsive and has thoroughly presented helpful information. A very kind and gracious host. Her home is comfortable and bedroom is cute and welcoming. For summertime visits, as much A/C as you want is available. Her pet tribe is fun and affectionate. Little Miss Pringle will warm your heart and provide entertainment. Eddy is laid back, mature and tender, and the cats are content with a little love and regular feedings. I only stayed for a brief time, but it was a special experience. I’m hopeful to return for a longer stretch. Thanks, Stephanie, for your hospitality and entrusting me with your treasures!
What an amazing experience this cozy and perfect cabin in Evergreen! Sarah and Craig left detailed instructions and restaurant suggestions, met up with me to make sure I didn't have any questions and gave me more than I needed to make my stay with their precious pups just perfect! They even texted me detailed instructions on the easiest way to get to their cabin. Also, there was some unexpected snow and Craig made sure to clear the driveway for me to make sure I got in safely. The dogs, Stellan, Marely, and Lilly are COMPLETE loves. The easiest and most rewarding sit I have ever had to date! They are kind and chill and just want loving(and a couple of walks if you are up for it). They listen very well and are extremely easy to take care of. I will truly miss these sweeties and hope to come back very soon. The cabin is in a quiet cozy neighborhood, but close enough to all the cool restaurants, breweries, and hikes that Evergreen has to offer. Denver is only about 30mins away. Easy drive. It is a complete dream to stay at Sarah and Craig's place. A true mountain escape for anyone looking to get away and spend some time with some precious pups.
The apartment in one of the finest areas in Amsterdam is beautifully decorated. On top of that Julie and her partner has the sweetest and easiest cat ever. On first she is a bit shy and she takes her time to adjust. But once you stole her heart, she is fallen in sleep in your arms 😻
A wonderful stay with two beautiful cats, Thor and Freddie. They’re both lovely - but watch out for Thor, he’ll steal your heart! So affectionate and spent lots of time hanging out with me in the flat. The home itself is perfectly placed to explore Bath - of which there is much to do! I recommend doing the walking tour around town to learn a bit about its history, and hiking the Bath Skyline for the best views. The apartment is super spacious and private, and the garden out back is such a great feature (one that Freddie loves in particular!). Bryony is so lovely and kind, and on hand for anything you need - she even gave me some great vegan recommendations and brought me back a little gift from her holiday. Would housesit here again in a heartbeat, and hope I get to see Bryony, Freddie and Thor again soon!
Housesitting for Kathy and Lou was truly a 5-star experience. They are very kind, accommodating, and gracious hosts and made me feel very welcome from the moment I arrived at their home. My wife was unable to join me on this sit but I was set up for success from the start as I was given a very comprehensive walk-thru of the house and provided with everything I needed to have a very comfortable stay. They also provided additional instructional guides for their home and kitties so that I was confident I had everything I needed in their absence. I seriously appreciated all the provided details / documentation as it made the sit very easy from an execution standpoint. Location: Kathy & Lou have a beautiful home and keep it very well-maintained. Monterey and the surrounding area is beautiful and attracts a ton of visitors so it was nice to be out during the day knowing I had such a peaceful and calming retreat to retire to on a nightly basis. While the city is very close and walkable from their home, depending on where you might be headed, their residential street location is perfect with very minimal traffic or visitors. You could easily spend a day relaxing in their home or out on their beautiful deck. Communication: Kathy was my main point of contact during their trip away and she made the communication process so easy by getting back to me quickly on the few times I had to reach out with a question. It was nice to know she was available and willing to provide a prompt response whenever I needed any guidance during the sit. Goldie & Mimi ❤️❤️ Their 2 kitties are very sweet and so easy to care for & love. Goldie is a very social girl who followed me around the house from day one. She is very vocal and had me trained quickly to let me know when she wanted a lap to sit on, time to eat, or a brushing. We got into a regular routine and I’ll miss watching TV with her on my lap or her regular wake up calls for breakfast! :-) Mimi is a bit more reserved but also a very sweet girl. She loves her quiet time and can surprise you with her hiding places so make sure Kathy provides a download on Mimi’s favorite daytime sleeping spots. She really loves her chin & cheek scratches so give her a ton! I always made sure to save time for that while she was napping during the day or when I took her to her bed nightly. I loved how such a mighty roar could come out of such a sweet lil petite kitty! Overall, this was an outstanding housesitting experience and Lou & Kathy are GREAT hosts! If you are lucky enough to be chosen to watch their girls, you will have an unforgettable experience - don't hesitate to apply! BIG thanks Kathy & Lou
