We LOVED sitting for Kelley and Deanna! Their home is so sweet with such a gorgeous view of the mountains as you drive up the road to turn onto their street. You really can't beat the location! Asheville is such a fun, vibrant city without that big city feel. Kelley and Deanna recommended we hike DuPont State Forest and I'm so glad we took the time to do so! The waterfalls are gorgeous and it's an easy/moderate hike! They have the best suggestions for the area; they're Welcome Guide was so thorough and informative with everything we needed to know about caring for their home, and Riley and Zeus! Anything not in the Guide was written out for us when we arrived. Zeus and Riley are the sweetest, snuggliest, most gentle cat/dog duo we've ever cared for! Between Zeus' insatiable desire for snuggles and head scratches/rubs, to Riley's big puppy dog eyes and his undying love of his orange frisbee, we so enjoyed our time caring for them! Most of the day Riley just loves chilling in the sunshine in the fenced in backyard, and Zeus is either sleeping or wanting to be near you/on you! We've never had pets warm up to us so quickly as these two did. They really are just so chill and fun to be around! Communication with Kelley before/during/after has been awesome, and they assured us they would always be a text/phone call away if we needed ANYTHING while they were gone and that really put our mind at ease. Everything you could possibly need or need to know is so clearly laid out or available we really didn't have any issues! And the hot tub was such a special treat! I would highly recommend sitting for Kelley and Deanna, and we would gladly return to do so!
I really enjoyed my house sit at Stephanie 's place. She provided me with a detailed manual and information about the area; The apartment is located at a quiet area, close to the beach, cafes, restaurants and shops, easy to get to the city by bus or Manly Ferry. And it was an absolute delight to look after this gorgeous cheeky cats Tigger and Noodle. I felt sad to waive them good-bye. I can highly recommend to house sit at Stephanie's place and I would not hesitate to go there again.
Kate and Gabe were great hosts, were very communicative on Tali and Max’s needs, and also very responsive when I had any questions. Their home is in a super cute, walkable neighborhood. Tali and Max are amazing dogs who are so sweet, love to lean on you for a hug, and are very relaxed. My boyfriend and I had an incredible time with them, and after meeting Tali and Max, would consider adopting Greyhounds in the future. We adored them and our experience!
I really enjoyed my extended stay in South Austin with Mowgli, Bella, Garci and Frida. They were great company and easy to care for in Nadma's very pleasant home and garden space. South Austin's is a funky part of town with plenty of things to do and easy access to downtown and surrounding area. My new four furry friends were friendly and got along well with each other. Nadma left all the information needed and was easy to communicate with during the 2 months. I look forward to staying with them again for more pet slumber parties and fresh verges from the garden. Thank you!
