Anne and Allan where very good hosts, the first day I got there they invited me for dinner and welcomed me into their home, Allan showed me around and explained how most of the things were done in and out of the house. This sit is a favorite! The hospitality that Midge and her wonderful family have shown has been amazing! This sit, I looked after Alfie the cat. I adored Alfie immediately. He’s a sweet, sweet boy! Amazing cuddles! Midge and Alan’s home is lovely, in a nice peaceful area with a wonderful garden and close to beautiful parkland. If you like nature, this is the place! I really enjoyed the fact that Midge is an amazing communicator and very detailed. I look forward to future sits for this amazing family of humans and fur babies! 💕

My name is Joy Musacchio and anyone that knows me knows that my dogs are my life. I have 6 poodles that I would lay down my life for in a second. Jana has been grooming my babies for years now and she is the only one that I will trust with them. Period... Ever... This Christmas, I was going out of town for almost two weeks and I boarded them at Bark and Purr for the first time. For forever, I always had someone come and care for them at home while I was away, but this time was different. They were there for 13 days and were so well cared for and happy. Infact, I didn't worry for one second about them while I was away. And this is the first time that I have ever been out of town and didn't worry. When I picked them up they were happy, looked awesome, healthy. Actually they were in better emotional and physical states than when they were cared for at home! I'm not sure that they wanted to leave! I can tell you guys this, no none will ever touch my little babies and they will always have their vacation at Bark and Purr. (I think I would like a vacation there next time myself) So if you have to go away and want peace of mind that your babies will be cared for and loved like you card and love them, this is the place! Honestly.
Wonderful place and friendly people! This place has such a nice energy right from when you walk in. Took my dog for a nail trim (her least favorite activity) and I could hear the people talking to my dog and comforting her while they cut her nails. They were very gentle and made my dog at ease. I will definitely be back!
The folks at Bark N Purr know their business and it shows! If my dog could, he would jump into the owners arms, except he's a Husky! The love they have for all the animals shows. The place is clean, the staff is professional, knowledgeable, friendly and most of all I know my fur baby is safe and will have fun and excellent care! I've been a customer for 17 yrs and wouldn't think of leaving my dog anywhere else and I live 30 minutes away. They do excellent grooming too! LOVE Bark N Purr!!
Wonderful park , 2 different areas , small dogs and large . Benches to sit on and watch dogs . Shade trees 🌳 and tables . One of the nicest dog parks I've been to. Loved it and so did my dog . He was sad to leave . The view is quite fantastic, too.
On a recent trip to Arizona, my husband and I wanted to spend the day shopping in Sedona. We were traveling with our 3 month old Goldendoodle, Nala, and did not want to drag her around in the heat all day. Bark N Purr was amazing. Not only did they have the availability last minute because their facility is quite large, they were able to give my baby a bath, clip her nails, etc. She was very well taken care of. The staff is also very friendly and empathetic to the emotions I was feeling leaving my fur baby for the first time. We had to leave our kitty 🐈⬛ for day care as we were doing outdoors activities in Sedona and it was too hot for her. I think she had a good experience when we picked her up she was ok and no stress visible symptoms. I would recommend this place. …

My little girl Aspen and I got a great first impression from the Wags & Whiskers team + all of the wonderful dogs she met today during day camp. :=) We have moved around a few times so Aspen has had lots of experience playing at different doggy daycares. This one is so spectacular from the way it is organized in there: - Clean facilities - Friendly + knowledgeable handlers - Behaved dogs (requires evaluation) - 3 different fenced play areas - Not to mention, reasonable prices. I can feel like I trust this boarding/daycare facility which is one of the most important aspects of deciding on one. I highly recommend!

We highly recommend Wags and Whiskers! Rochelle was so helpful and answered all our questions. We came to Flagstaff to run the Flagstaff Trail Half Marathon and needed to find a place to take our pooch while we were tied up for part of the day. I dropped my sweet girl, BB off for the day so I could take care of things I needed to take care of. The staff is knowledgeable, gentle and polite. They are great with the pets and I am so glad they were able to care for my girl. They were able to accommodate me if I needed to have her stay the night, but that ended up not being necessary. I had brought food and medicationfkr her. And when I picked her up for the daycare, everything was neatly labeled! I even got a free tote bag when I got her from the daycare. Wags & Whiskers is a truly an AMAZING pet resort. The minute you walk through the door you are greeted with extremely friendly and helpful staff. I knew Goldie, (my large 7-month-old great pyrenes and border collie mix) would be super happy and lovingly cared for. Check in and out were both quick and efficient. The stay for chewy was great the pictures sent to me were awesome. We now have a new safe place to leave chewy when we go on vacation. He had walks and playtime with other dogs.
My puppy absolutely loves this place. He’s 8 months old so he’s still learning, but I’ve noticed his behavior around other dogs and people continues to improve every time he comes home from day camp. He is much more social and less shy than when I had first adopted him. The crew is very nice and responsive when contacted. I appreciate that they email me when photos are tagged with my pup on them, it’s nice to see pictures of his time there. Lastly, I really appreciate how on top of the health and well being of the dogs they are, you must submit vaccination records before bringing your dog in so it’s nice knowing Hank won’t be at risk of getting sick.
Yesterday was my dog (Togo) first day at Wags and Whiskers hes currently 4 months old and this is the perfect chance for him to start socializing with other dogs. He came back home so happy and of course tired. We definitely gonna come back. The staff is super friendly and took care really well from my baby!

My dog is always happy to go tot Cinder Hills, even when it has been a while. The staff is very friendly and easy to communicate with. I really love their new loyalty program as well since I tend to drop my dog off for long periods of time during holidays.
Anytime I take my dog to Cinder Hills Kennels I know he is in great hands! I get daily updates whether he is boarding or at day camp. He comes home and is so tired he sleeps through the night from all the fun he had with his friends. I never have fears about him getting sick or hurt because I know they keep record of all their clients vaccines, and make sure they all play well together. No playground bullies at Cinder Hills. Taking your pet for the first time to a kennel is much like dropping off a child at preschool, you are nervous and sad and they may be hesitant, but the staff is so welcoming and friendly by the second day you’ll be hesitant and they’ll be running in the door.
My cats are precious to me and I rarely have to board them, but when I do I will only take them to Cinder Hills Kennels. They've thought of everything to make this a positive experience, at least for me... because no cat really likes to leave home. The kennels are spotless, the staff is attentive, AND the kennels are somehow sound-proofed so there is no dog noise to scare the cats!! I never worry about them when they're there because I know they are being well-cared for. Cinder Hills is the BEST!
My 2 little babies must have had a great time at day care. They came home happy, had no GI issues from having been stressed like I thought they might. Everyone was so loving and sweet to my babies. Definitely recommend them!!! I plan on starting to vacation but would not until I found just the right place for their care!!!!

Great facility with friendly and knowledgeable staff. First and foremost they don’t discriminate against breeds. They also took great care of our boy for 3 weeks while we were completely off grid rowing the colorado river. We own a boarding and pet sitting company in Atlanta GA and could tell their staff were committed to taking the best care of all of their clients. We will use them again the next time for sure.
Cinder Hills Kennels provided a nice, easy process for requesting a stay for our pup. They were responsive and had great communication. Our dog was pretty happy to see us when we picked him up, but he seemed very well-adjusted afterward (no signs of fear or anxiety). We would use their services again.

Daniel helped us with our senior girl Leeloo. She was on her way out of this world with her health but had the mind of a puppy so the extra love she needed made her life better towards the end when we had to be at work. Daniel changed my income and work position completely. I'm a single mom and have my hands full. I'd recently been laid-off and Daniel assisted me with getting enrolled at Yavapai College, get all my financial aid going, and my class scheduling. He helped me complete my UI claim and directed me regarding other services. Now I'm enrolled in classes and I'm positioned to bring in more money attending two classes per week than I was working 40 hours a week which leaves time for other important stuff. In terms of his pet services, he absolutely loves doggos. He's not a dog trainer, so I recommend his pet services if you're looking for someone to just spoil and love your dog(s) while you're away and make them feel at home and relaxed. Hi, I’m Burgess; a four year old labradoodle. If you haven’t had a chance to hang out at Furry Friends of Flagstaff you aren’t part of the COOL crowd. The adult and children staff at Furry Friends are so loving and kind. They love on me, let me explore the outdoor beauty of Flagstaff, and even let me hop and roll around with the other animals they are loving on. My parents moved me away from Arizona to a new home earlier in the year. I really miss spending the day with Furry Friends, and I think they miss me too. When I arrived at my new home I had a package of home made organic treats! They were SO good my humans tried to eat them. If you haven’t visited Furry Friends of Flagstaff yet you owe it to yourself to be pampered by them. 🐶🦮🐕🐈⬛

Diane Cohen, owner of Furry Friends, is a gem! First and most important, she loves animals and does everything she can to help them cope with their owners' absence. When we are gone, we have her visit twice a day to feed and play with our needy cat. She sends us photos to show he is getting along ok. Second, we feel secure with leaving our house, knowing that when she visits, Diane will let us know if everything looks normal, will bring in our packages, etc., and water our plants, too! Diane is very meticulous and professional. I never worry about anything when she is watching my house. She sends pictures of my pets every time she is at the house and lets me know what is happening. Every step of the way communication is excellent. She also clearly loves my animals and they love her.

Chancy Schmency loves Diane. When she hears her voice she refuses to move and carry on with her walk because she has to get Diane's attention. Diane is very reliable and professional, she is also knowledgeable when it comes to dog behavior which, as a human of a rescued pup, I really appreciate. She is very responsive, as well.
