Suay and Tilly are great dogs! They are low maintenance and have pretty chill personalities. Suay goes at her own pace and is an independent queen. Tilly takes a little longer to warm up to you but she just needs extra gentle loving. The house is very cozy and clean. It’s in a friendly neighborhood perfect for daily walks. There are all the amenities you could need. The downstairs Airbnb is easy to clean, safely separated from the main living area, and you can barely tell that people come and go. Sean and Liz are top notch hosts and kind people in general. All the instructions were clearly written out for me to follow and they were in communication with me for updates and always answered questions/texts. I felt well-prepared going into this sit. Overall, this experience was 10/10. I would 100% do it again and recommend house/pet sitting for Sean and Liz to anyone on TrustedHousesitters and beyond. I already miss Tilly and Suay 💜
We had such a lovely time with Bruce and Monty. They are both really sweet cats who love a nap and a treat equally! Bruce will not hesitate to join you for a cuddle or two on the couch, and little bro won't be too far behind. The home is conveniently located around shops, cafes and restaurants that are all in walking distance. Additonally, If you're working from home, the office space is perfect! This sit was a real joy and we truly hope to return one day! Thank you!
I had a great stay at Rose and Eric’s home in Navan! Although it takes her a little while to warm up to new people, Sally is one of the sweetest pups I’ve had the pleasure of looking after. It was genuinely hard to say goodbye to this one! Their cat Daphne is also a gorgeous girl who loved cuddles and following you around the house. Communication was great with Rose and Eric, and they live in a nice home with good access to public transport and work from home set up.
We had the best time at Jodie's home in Dubai. It was a dream come true to visit Dubai at all, but staying at Jodie's lovely apartment with the most adorable cats on the planet made it even better. Louie and Heidi are amazing cats. Louie is so sweet and doesn't have a mean bone in his body. Heidi is adorable and has a personality that left us in fits of giggles on a daily basis. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we could have possibly need. The location was great, with only a 15 minute Uber ride to the Dubai Marina and the DMCC Metro Station. Jodie is very fun and personable. She was helpful and quick to respond to all of my questions. I hope we will keep in touch. I recommend this sit and would be happy to sit her again.
This was the first house sit for Anamaria. She asked me to visit before confirming the sit, as she wanted her dogs Peri and Arki to meet me. Both dogs are very, very friendly, excited to meet new people, and as I found out, very easy to care for and loved playing ball games. I was shown around the house on my visit, and 'my' bedroom was very cold, though was assured it would be aired before the start of the sit. Dates were agreed and Anamaria was very accommodating. I agreed to sit. On arrival at the house I was warmly welcomed by Anamaria and her family, including Peri and Arki. There was no welcome guide or house/dog care notes, so I took notes on arrival and recommended creating a guide. Unfortunately the bedroom was not aired and proved to feel quite cold/damp, though the bed was comfortable and an electric heater was offered. I wore many clothes and eventually slept. The living areas of the house were warm and comfortable making for a nice two day stay. Anamaria kept in touch and responded quickly to any queries that arose. I have given 5 stars and recommend this sit as I know Anamaria was keen to correct any problems. I did not have time to explore the area, though the village shop/post office/cafe was a lovely little destination in the rain.
The sit with Helen and her fur-babies was excellent. Maggie is an absolute delight, full of joy and love. We went on a few walks together and she was great little walking buddy. She and Muffin are the fastest of friends and watching them together was a joy. They keep you company throughout the sit wanting proximity, cuddles and fusses. Cookie made an appearance for some food and then disappeared again but that was as expected. Helen was a great pet parent, welcoming and very responsive to all communication - including having a little chat before the sit which is always helpful. Would happily sit again and recommend this sit to anyone!
