Eliza was a great sitter and we would definitely have her stay again. She was responsive and provided updates on our cat, and we returned to a clean and orderly home!

Beate
What a wonderful experience! Looking after Mr Jeff was very easy and he’s a good boy if you need to go out and call him if he’s outside. He is no trouble at all and we had lots of cute conversations on the way to his food bowls through the day.

Andi and Beate’s home is a tranquil hideaway tucked into a Glen with a trickling stream, yet close enough to “civilisation” that you can pop down to Peel in under 10 minutes, (passing the Bee Jees’ former home), with all its attractions, or into Kirk Michael to shop at the excellent local butcher; enjoy scones, jam and cream at the popular tearooms; or, investigate the ancient Viking crosses at Kirk Michael’s Anglican Church…oh and there is also a small grocery store if you’d rather not go to Peel.

Then, you have the rest of the scenic, fascinating Isle of Man to explore. With mountains reminiscent of the Scottish highlands; castles; different glens with waterfalls, (two just down the road with their beaches); great hiking trails around the island and through the mountains; a steam train and tram; swimming beaches; forests; ancient churches; mysterious stone circle Celtic sites, remains of Viking communities and museums. Then there are the unique sheep with multiple horns, tailless cats, and possible seal, dolphin and whale sightings. In other words, you can’t hope to be bored! In fact, you need a lifetime to sufficiently explore everything the island has to offer.

On top of this, the local Manx people are so friendly with their revitalised Manx language, traditional music and dancing, which if you are lucky, you can manage to track down.

But I am leaving the very best till last, Andi and Beate. Such a pair of unusually special human beings! Generous, kind, welcoming, thoughtful, and considerate. They have a keen interest in TT and motorbike racing, hence they moved from Switzerland to make the Isle of Man their home. Honestly, they could not do enough to make me feel the island was my home away from home as well and to make sure I was comfortable, to the extent I would now love to return one day.

Antoine & Mica
Antoine and Mica were great from the beginning, and Bark8 welcomed me into his home instantly. They were easy to communicate with, very friendly and helpful with any questions that I had. Their house is beautiful and homey, which made it easy to like (all their gorgeous plants really bring the place to life!).

Bark8 is a very cuddly, affectionate cat and warm in nature - an absolute pleasure to housesit. Antoine and Mica's home is in an awesome spot for running and walking (Victoria park and the canal's towpaths are just a couple of minutes away!) and it is super easy to reach the city from. I thoroughly enjoyed housesitting for Antoine and Mica and would be happy to housesit for them again. I can highly recommend anyone else thinking of doing so in the future 😊

Marie-France
We spent excellent days in Luxembourg.
Marie-france and Eduardo are friendly, we had great communication and we felt at home.
The house is very spacious and comfortable, it is 5 minutes from the transport to the center of luxembourg, it is also close to a shopping mall and 3 large supermarkets.
Leo is very cute and has become our companion, Spike is calmer and also very cute and Larry is lively, loves to play and it was great to walk with him.
We really recommend this sit.:)

Yolanda
Yolanda and Randi took care to ensure my pet sit was comfortable from the get go. Although they were in the midst of moving right up to their departure time, they did thoughtful things like making sure outdoor spaces were set up so I could enjoy time outside during the sit.

The dogs were the BEST!

Samantha, the most soulful chill pup ever, was happiest basking in the morning sun outside or lounging on her bed inside. Pinoe was the biggest love bug and wanted nothing more than all the pets, love and scratches you’d be willing to dish out. Juniper was as described “the life of the party.” Ball? yes. Tug of war? yes. Car rides? yes…Juniper was happiest in “go” mode and just looking at the joy shining from her face, would brighten up anyone’s day.

All in all, a fun sit that I’d recommend to any trusted housesitter who might be considering.

Barbara
Thank you Barb and Brent for allowing us to look after your wonderful Rosie and your very beautiful home! We had an amazing time, and thoroughly enjoyed Rosie's company. While slow to trust like most pets, we soon found her to be warm, friendly and a great night guest at the end of the bed. Also very quiet, except when trying to play us off against one another as to whether treats were provided! Your home is incredible and very comfortable - quite possibly the most beautiful back yard we've ever experienced. We would very happily sit for you and Rosie again!!

Rachael
This was such a lovely sit. The house is in an idyllic location very close to the beach. There is a lovely energy at the house and in the local area. Rachael is a very kind and interesting person. It was a joy to sit Kipu, such an easy going dog. We had a lovely experience there and would gladly sit again.
