Sitting for Elizabeth, Mia and Ellie was wonderful. Mia and Ellie are super sweet kitties. Mia takes a minute to warm up to you, but will still come by for her cuddles. Both absolutely love to play. Elizabeth is incredibly warm and kind and communicates very well. All the information needed for a successful sit was provided in advance. The home is comfortable and bright with great views, and very well located near good restaurants, Lincoln Center, Central Park and loads of subways. You will be lucky to get this sit and I would be glad to be back!
We really enjoyed our weekend in Burgess Hill. Isabelle has a very lovely house with a beautiful garden that we took advantage of during the very warm and sunny weekend we spent there. Kiba was a delight and a very easy going cat to watch. The flat is also a short walk to the train station, supermarket, etc. and a short train ride to Brighton if you're looking to do a day trip during your sit.
I had a lovely week looking after these two beautiful cats. Clicquot and Perrier are very very affectionate and cuddly and so easy to take care of. Since I had a lot of work to do I had a cosy time snuggled up in bed with my laptop and these two sweethearts. The house, even though undergoing renovations (which I knew beforehand), and my room were very comfortable and I had everything I needed. Sarah and Andy took me out to dinner prior to the sit so we could get to know each other. All in all a great sit and I’d be happy to come again. Thanks :)

What a wonderful sit this was. There was clear communication from the very beginning with Patrick and Yuliya. They provided instructions well in advance which was useful. Schooley is an easy going cat - he's shy and observant in the first day or two, but warms up with the sweetest personality. He loves a good head scratch or playing with some of his toys. He occasionally comes for cuddles either on the couch or on the bed with you, and on one occasion brought his toy with him to the bed. Over time, Schooley becomes your shadow, following you around the flat, which I absolutely loved. Big thank you also to Patrick and Yuliya who were such warm hosts - their flat was not only beautifully decorated, but also spotless - I was immensely grateful for this as someone who is a bit of a clean freak myself. We also had a small issue with the water supply and Patrick and Yuliya jumped on a video call and got a plumber down within a few hours, thank you very much again to both of you! Hope to meet Schooley again in the near future!

I scheduled my high energy 1.5 year old Labrador pup, MAC, for his first interview this past Monday and I have to say that my husband and I had a great experience with the staff that day. From check in to check out, the staff was friendly. Miko (spelling?) was the one who greeted us when we checked in, he took Mac for his assessment and then came out to let us know our boy fit right in and he was welcome to stay for the day. We watched the live cams throughout the day and saw our pup running around and playing with a ton of other dogs, which is what we wanted. It's great to be able to leave him somewhere to run off his pup energy in a safe environment. When I picked Mac up, another male staff member greeted me and let me know Mac did great. I know it's only been one day but we definitely will be using their daycare services soon, possibly even boarding and grooming. Thank you Camp Bow Wow EG!
We had a great experience at Elkgrove Bow wow. Our pup stayed 10 days. They gave our dog her medication and gave her a bath. I called midway into our trip to check in and they were very descriptive to put me at ease. Love Camp Bow Wow.First pup started coming here in 2015 and we have continued with our new family member 2023. Highly recommend them.

I have used a lot of different dog trainers but Laura is by far the best! I am so lucky to have found her and I wish I had started sessions with her earlier. She has a variety of different packages and her experience, knowledge and effective communication is worth every penny! Her group classes are outdoors and have a real world feeling where owners can work on off leash behaviors. One of the best parts about Laura is that she's extremely flexible! If you have to cancel, you can make up your class another session. My schedule is constantly changing so committing to a weekly class at the same hour can be hard. I really appreciate how flexible Laura is. She is a wonderful dog trainer who caters the training to your needs and goals! Laura is very busy though so it can take a while to get a spot in her training! It's worth the wait so hurry up and reach out for your first session.
I called Laura regarding issues of fighting between our two dogs. She was very honest and upfront about what training could and could not accomplish, and gave me practical advice that cost nothing. If I need further dog-training services, she's my go-to trainer.
Our puppy has become such a well behaved boy as we, his pet parents, learned how to interact with him. The lessons are invaluable and will be used as tools forever for his benefit
Laura is a fantastic dog trainer. I had previously treat trained my super compliant Shelties. Then, I got an alpha Aussie! We were able to accomplish some impressive things with her help! And, I'm using her again with a rescued herd dog. It's incredibly important for your dog trainer to observe YOU and your family in your home environment to help correct mistakes before you have a problem dog. Laura will train YOU to train your dog. Then, you graduate to group classes. She is consistently placing in the top rankings like KCRA 3 A-List, etc. for a good reason. She's got years of experience and know how. Considering you might have a dog15 years, this training will make it an enjoyable relationship. She's worth your consideration!

Personally & professionally, I don't like her training methods and can't recommend her. I wish the friends who went to her for dog training services had contacted me first. I don't like the results and techniques they spoke of. Look for Force Free Positive Reinforcement only. Balanced is a sign of lack of confidence and commitment to ethical methods.
We got pointers on walking our dog. She said it would take from a few days to a month, depending on our consistency, the dog's receptiveness, etc. It worked first walk, the next morning. Unbelievable. Thank you ALL Dog Training!

Took our Golden to the splash pad night. They had the nicest facility!! So much room for the dogs to run around in, very clean and no broken toys/furniture. My golden had so much fun and I will definitely be signing her up for a day care session.
Great place to take your dog for day care or swim fun. I've taken my bullmastiff to day care and open swim. She lived both and came home tired and happy. Bit expensive buy you're paying for good care of your dog. I really appreciate that they screen your pet and have separation of different temperaments. Open swim in wknds is great and pretty cheap at $10 per dog. I highly recommend and will be back often. They have boarding service too, but I've never used it.
We rented the pool with some dog park friends and had a blast. The staff are very friendly and the pool was ready to have our pack of dogs rage. Some seating provided, bring a towel for yourself and wear clothes you don't mind getting soaked because the dogs will shake all over you!

I took my dog, Huffy, to the Animal Den for their open swim. She had a blast! All the doggies loved the pool and I got to enjoy some wine while she played. It was a win all around! My only gripe is the admission fee is $10. The fee is reasonable but it does keep us from going as frequently as we would like!
My dog has been going here for daycare 4 days a week for the last year and is so happy and excited whenever we arrive. Previous places we went for daycare I could see him on camera just sitting by the gate wanting to leave, and he was never eager to walk through the door. I think the staff here have gotten to know him and what makes him happy to be there so he feels much more comfortable. They also do cute holiday activities and dogs of the week which are adorable extra touches. Overall it’s been a great experience!
Such nice and caring individuals! They can accommodate almost anything! Very patient and compassionate for not only the fur babies but the fur parents as well! As for my Meeko he is having the time of his life for his first time. He is literally smiling. Great decision to board him here. I would high recommend this place!

Cheryl is wonderful with our dog Bentley. We get daily reports with pictures. We think he has more fun at her house than ours with all the other dogs he gets to play with. We love knowing he's in good hands and isn't stressed out at a kennel. And Jesse is lovely with our kitten. We come home and our kitten is happy, the litter boxes are clean, the mail has been brought in, and the plants have been watered. And we know someone has been keeping a daily eye on our home. We’ve used this company’s service several times now. All the sitters have been super. We’ve had someone do checks on our kitten, play and feed her. Another time we had someone stay overnight with our puppy and kitten. And another time private boarded our puppy at a sitter’s home. Every time we came back to happy, well cared for pets. All the sitters were respectful and responsible. Great peace-of-mind. We will definitely continue to use them.
Happy Tails Pet Sitting and Tamara gave me peace of mind that my 3-month old puppy would be well taken care. He was fed, played with and loved. Soiled bedding thrown in the washer. I received photos of him playing and an update with each visit. No doubt Happy Tails will be called on in the future.......
This was my first time using Happy Tails. Lindsay was my live in pet/house sitter. My cat is very shy but took to Lindsay immediately. Lindsay sent me updates and photos while I was gone so I had total peace of mind. I also came home to a very clean house. I will definitely use them again!
I took my puppies over there for the first time and they loved it! Tamara was very sweet and caring with them. The place allows them to play, sleep and be around other dogs (socialize) in a safe manner. It's convenient, and it's affordable.
Amazing place!! The facility is great, in the heat of the summer to have an air conditioned space for chows is a must. Tamara was beyond helpful. This was the third place I tried as I was having surgery and, I NEVER board my dogs so it was getting stressful. I had to leave them for a day and I immediately knew I’d found the spot just because I was having trouble getting them into the yard (because of my hip) and one of them slipped out of his collar and got away. Tamaras husband jumped in without hesitation and helped me round him up. Most places I know aren’t even comfortable with having them so to see him react immediately without a hint of apprehension was reassuring. As it turned out, a friend came up to stay with me for recovery so they were able to stay home this time. I’ll be having to go in again next year so I’ll definitely be taking them back!!

Great people and very responsive. We had to head out of town on short notice, but they were flexible in finding us a good fit for our two pups for pet sitting. One of our labs can be a pain and the Happy Tails Petsitting crew was patient and understanding. Great experience with them!
I was looking for a place to put my dogs for boarding. The lady who answered the phone yelled at me and told me I wouldn’t be allowed to tour the facility. I think it’s really sketchy that I can’t see anything. Reading the other reviews it makes sense now though. Seeing too many comments about dogs getting hurt at this place and terrible customer service. This place also charges almost $200 a night, holy smokes! Definitely stay away.
DO NOT BOOK HERE. Save your money. They charge 2x the going rate of other places. For dog boarding you can't pick up on Sunday or Wednesday and they WILL charge you for it. I asked to pickup on Wednesday and they said no, but would give me a free night since they don't allow pick ups. However, they still charged me for it. It costs $170 per night, but will charge you $175 unless you say something. After they overcharged me by $330 (both on a per night basis and 1 extra night) and ignoring me for a few days I finally got a response. They offered me a refund and stated they would send me the receipt. I did not get anything from them and when I asked for the refund receipt they stated they'd give me I saw it was $80 for the $5 per night over charge. I am still waiting to try and get a refund, but keep getting ignored so I probably won't hear from them. I don't know how I did not know about the price, but they definitely did not let me know the price before hand or I saw a significantly different price somewhere else because I would NEVER book at a rate of $170 per night for 2 dogs. All other places are $100 per 2 dogs per night or under. Also they were late to open when I had to drop off and go to work. She was out doing a grooming service and it took 20 minutes for her to get back and allow me to drop off making me super late. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!
Terrible service and EXTREMELY overpriced. They are 2 times the normal rate. I was trying to get a refund because she charged me more than what the cost was, but she refuses to and started ignoring me. After reading all the other reviews it seems like that is her motto, CHARGE MORE THAN WHAT IS STATED THEN IGNORE THE CUSTOMER. On top it all off my dogs got returned hella dirty, had bites and diarrhea. STAY AWAY!!!
We followed Cassi from her previous Sacramento location to the current Elk Grove location because of the excellent care our pups receive both when being boarded and when being groomed! Cassi and her team provide a very loving, caring and personalized atmosphere to the pets that visit the Resort! Our Posey loves visiting Cassi, interacting with the other pets whether spending the night or having her toenails trimmed! Check out her new location, lots of area for our furry loved ones to play!
This place is great. I've been trying to find a groomer where the dogs can just hang out while waiting their turn or for pickup so that they can just have fun and not be stressed out for hours. Cassi and her crew love pups and it shows. My pups weren't in a hurry to leave when I got there! It was so nice to see that they actually enjoyed it! Their cuts were exactly what I was hoping for. They were all bathed up, teeth brushed, nails trimmed, the whole 9-yards. I didn't get to talk to the groomer much, except in the beginning when she came out to talk about my pup's groom, but she was very nice and knew exactly what I was going for. Cassi, the owner, is awesome. Super energetic haha. Even though she was busy she still made time to chat and get to know me and the pups, both when I dropped them off and picked them up. Also, the price wasn't all crazy like some boutiques. It was extremely reasonable. Not gonna lie, I love these guys! :-D
Thanks! These guys made my day when I went to pick up my boy and he transformed into a lion! The place was easy to find, it's a house on a county road with a "Dog Grooming" A frame sign street side. My first visit got me a little out of my comfort zone with the whole pulling up into someone's driveway thing...But once I got out of the car I was greeted at the door and I knew I was definitely in the right place!

Been taking my dog to Cassi and company for years now. She is the kindest, most flexible person as well as great with dogs. Offers daycare and boarding. Super easy website. Can't recommend enough.
Brought our sweet dog to Elk Grove Pet Resort and Spa for five nights boarding. We were assured he would be fine, have a room with a large bed to himself and that we'd get lots of pics during his stay. We got one collage of multiple dog photos 45 minutes after we left and didn't hear from them again even though we asked for updates. When we picked him up the owner assured us that he was super fun, had a great time and everyone loved him and sorry he was so dirty. She even said he made at least 15 new friends. When we got him home we noticed multiple wounds. After bathing him and treating his wounds we contacted the kennel. She immediately denied everything and demanded photos. We sent her photos clearly showing two wounds to lower back leg, bleeding between his toes, a large abrasion on his elbow and a raw spot in his ear. Now she changes her story to say our pet is anxious and must be chewing on himself and his nervousness makes him a bad candidate for boarding. She suggests we try elsewhere. Excuse me. What? She did charge us the full rate for his stay and took no responsibility for damaging our pup. We couldn't recommend this place if it was for free. Save yourself and your poor pups and stay away from this evil place. We will never be back.
My Leia who's almost 6 has known Cassi since she was a pup and now we have Luke who's 3 and they have SO MUCH fun seeing their friends! the grooming is awesome and they always smell so good. She and her staff treat my babies like their own and they love her🙂
I cannot recommend Cha Cha's highly enough. My dog, Penny, has been going to daycare for a couple of years now, and I continue to be impressed with the staff's enthusiasm and care for my girl. The minute she realizes where we're going, she'll start her happy vocalizations in the car, and as soon as we arrive, she is DRAGGING me through the front gate to go play with her friends. Something I really love about Cha Cha's is that the staff doesn't just sit there and observe the dogs - they actively engage with them - enrichment activities, snuggles, etc. It makes my heart so happy to see my pup so happy there. For me, having separate spaces for big and little dogs is a huge plus, as Penny is very nervous around high-energy/boisterous big dogs. The staff really goes above and beyond to make sure every dog is comfortable and well-taken-care-of. In addition to daycare, I've also used Cha Cha's boarding services and more recently, their grooming services, and have been really happy with all of it. While these services aren't "cheap," everything is priced competitively/reasonably and frankly, the care your dog will get is worth ten times what you're charged. And I feel good about supporting a small business that gives back to its community, supporting many of the same groups and organizations that I do. Bottom line: Penny and I love Cha Cha's and know you will too! ❤

My little Jackie loves Cha Cha’s, and so do I. I can check in on Jackie during the day via the live cameras and I see a happy dog. The staff is always helpful and pleasant. They seem to really enjoy the animals. They provide a safe environment for my dog to socialize and play with other dogs. At the end of the day, I pick up a tired and happy dog.

We love Cha Cha's! We come here 2x a week for daycare, some grooming and lots of boarding throughout the year. The staff, literally everyone, is always so welcoming and kind to my guy. Arthur, my Boston Terrier, has a unique personality and can sometimes be weary of new people. Everyone knows this about him and they all give him his space and time to warm up when he comes in. The staff communicates well with me and go above in working with Arthur to break out of his shell. He comes home happy and exhausted. Having Cha Cha's as part of Arthur's routine has been so great for him!
Our rescue dog, Marty, has been going to Cha Cha's since she was 2 years old in 2019. She goes multiple times a week for day care, gets monthly grooming, and boarding occasionally. We absolutely love the staff and greatly appreciate the care they provide. We know she has a blast every time she is there and wouldn't trust her with anyone else!
This review has been a long time coming. From the time you step in the door with your fur baby(s), people are friendly, pleasant, attentive, and in great spirits! My dog is running for the front door when we arrive, which makes me feel like I'm a good dog Mom. He comes home tired and freshly bathed, ready for dinner and, evening snuggles. Today I picked up Taffy, my Pembroke Welch Corgi! She thinks her owner is a queen , however, I’m just an aid for children with disabilities. Violet keeps her looking like a queen owns her. Thank you violet for being a gentle and very good groomer! I would recommend you any time!
I am so GRATEFUL that I found Grateful Dog Daycare! I've taken advantage of their overnight and long-term boarding services. As you can see from the photo, Ariel and I have trouble leaving one another. However, she always comes home healthy and happy after staying with the Grateful Dog Staff who are so very helpful and kind. If I could give more than 5 stars, I certainly would!
even though it wasn't a fit for my pooch, excellent facility and staff. We love their grooming services. Their staff are fantastic and my dog always leaves looking and smelling her best.
it's pricier than most such places but you get what you pay for – they really do treat your dog well and pay attention to them and keep them safe. peace of mind is worth it!

We've been taking our 14 year old Westie here for six years for grooming. Now they are his favorite place to go for doggy day care as well. I take my 40lb doodley dog to get groomed here and they do an amazing job, every time! They even have a little slab with fur lengths so you can visualize ideal lengths for the cut. It helps me out A LOT. My pup comes out looking great no matter which groomer he sees. He’s also quite nervous but they take good care of him while he’s there.
This place is amazing. Has Self-Wash Dog Grooming. The Staff very professional and friendly and very clean place.

Cant speak on the daycare, I bring my Abba here for grooming stuff. Good price given the end results, that and my dog has never been uncomfortable here like some other places.
My pups, Alfonso and Oillie love staying at the Best Friends Pet Hotel! They are so quiet on the way home. Exhausted from fun! They love the staff. Constantly running around them even as we are trying to leave! Haha They are so happy. I have them groomed after each stay, they smell wonderful!! Pictures from different pickups!! Another stay! My big boy Bengal, Dezi had a great time here. The facility was very nice and clean too. He got his own two room suite! The staff made him feel safe and loved and he wasn’t stressed when I picked him up. This was his first time away from home and I wasn’t sure how it would go. He will be coming back to visit again.
I have used Best Friends since 2002. All of my dogs have done great and I had a dog with some “issues” and she was handled well. There were never any problems after their visit at the “spa” as we referred to it. My two small dogs just returned from their spa visit and Max was on medication and he did great and our Gracie was happy too. Highly recommend!! 🐾🐾
Kirby's first boarding experience at Best Friends was wonderful! He got along great with the other cats, and it was clear the staff truly care for animals. I highly recommend this Best Friends location for anyone needing extended pet care.

We brought our Golden, Lola, here for the first time for a full grooming experience. She is terrified of loud noises--the girl who met us at check-in was extremely gentle with our dog, calming, and got her to settle down. We knew immediately that Lola was in good hands. They brought Lola out looking better than she ever has at any other grooming appointment--complete with a fresh bandana and bow. We loved our experience here!
First time with Best Friends over the Christmas holiday. She was pretty excited to go with the staff and seemed great when we picked up. We had a long delay on our return train ride and the staff was very understanding. I felt very comfortable with her accommodations and would definitely use them again next time we travel.
Best Friends pet boarding, daycare in Carmichael. The staff here is awesom! My Pebbles and BamBam really enjoy their overnight stays! They get lots of attention, treats and best of all have piece of mind knowing the loving care they are getting! Highly recommend boarding and Doggy day camp!
