Pet Sitters in Vinovo

Some pet parents may be looking for the merest assistance - food in a bowl and a little attention for their pets here and there. That bare minimum is what you will receive with this couple. If that is good enough for you, then great. If not, you should understand that they are not suited to care for your home, and more importantly, your beloved companions. We were quite baffled by how underwhelming these two cared for our pets and our home. Teddy and Bear were fed, yes, but the particulars which were clearly stated in our initial video conversation, and are further detailed in the manual, were quite obviously not followed. Having grown up with dogs for 20 years and had the pleasure of cats as pets/companions for more than 25 years, it was quite obvious by their behavior (particularly Teddy’s) that the care we had requested of them was overlooked. The “plant person” in Lucinda was definitely not present either. We had left clear (in pictures and text messages) which of the plants needed care over the week. Random plants we had NOT requested to be watered or cared for had been (leading to overwatering) and others we had requested were completely neglected, some of which died (a few on our balcony). The respect of our kitchen was completely absent. We were quite taken aback to find dirty dishes, bowls, and glassware put right back in the cupboards, unwashed, stained, littered with food, wine, drink, even lip residue, as if they had been rinsed with water and just thrown back in. It would be impossible to have put them away in such a condition without completely neglecting soap and a dish sponge. It was really, pretty nasty. Throughout our time away, we asked how things were going and from the beginning tried to give reminders about the particularities (because they were late on arrival and we could not see them before we had to leave) to which we were constantly responded to with “I know.” They clearly did not know, or did not care, and used our home like a bachelor pad, trying to clear things up at the last minute, as if we had no awareness of, or insight into, our own home, pets, or plants.

I am so glad Elena signed up for zeewoi and came to our place to care for our menagerie for her first sit. She was brilliant! She was conscientious, caring, and took amazing care of the animals and house. Very down to earth,energetic, interesting and knowledgeable, and communicated well. I was sorry to see her go. If you are lucky enough to get an application from Elena, I would advise that you invite her to help. You won’t be sorry!

It was a delight to have Deb come and stay and take care of our dog Rocket. She was friendly, welcoming and Rocket seemed very happy when we returned. Our home was well taken care of and she sent us updates, we recommend her! A very open, bright person!

Natali & Amit did a very good job and my cats have been treated very well. I have found them in good health and quite happy. Also the apartment was in good conditions and nothing bad did happen. Very a minor point: they could have used the vacuum a little more, but by no mean the apartment was dirty.

Daiana cuidó muy bien de Rosi Y Oli, en los paseos y en casa. Estuvimos siempre en comunicación, nos mandó fotos y nos contaba cómo iba todo :)

Roxana and Maxime were great sitters! They kept the apartment in a good shape and were very communicative throughout. They took really good care of Samira and also sent us lots of photos of her while we were away, which was much appreciated. 🙂

Dawn and Kim seemed to love our house as much as they loved our cats! The cats were very happy and content, which is a testament to their great care. They were fantastic house sitters - highly recommended, no trouble at all. We'd definitely have them back again and have already spoken to them about it! Any pets would be lucky to have them sit and look after them - 5 Star!!

Massimo was a wonderful pet sitter! He clearly adores cats and ours felt super comfortable with him from the beginning. He is thoughtful, kind, and clear. Would recommend to anyone!

Manuela è stata una cat-sitter fantastica. Ha accudito con attenzione Mimì e Bianca. Mi ha mandato tutti giorni e più volte al giorno foto e video per non farmi avere nostalgia, è stata sempre puntuale nelle risposte. Al mio ritorno ho trovato la casa in ordine e pulita e ha mi ha anche preparato la cena. Non avrei potuto avere esperienza migliore. Consigliatissima!!!

Margherita & Alessio were a pleasure to have in my home minding my precious Nellie & Tilly. They sent me videos and updates everyday while I was away and this really reassured me that they were in good hands. They went for long walks everyday and played with the ball ( their favourite toy) They got lots of hugs and were always talking to them which I love to see. They were meticulous in keeping my house tidy … emptying bins, cleaning and having everything sparkling when I got home. They even left fresh food for me when I returned.. They were honest and trustworthy. They were friendly and chatty and good company. I would have no problem recommending them for other housesitting weeks in the future. I felt so at home with Valentina and Lucio from our first meeting a week before the sit. Luckily our requirements fitted at such short notice perfectly and it was aver happy exchange. Caring house guest and animals lovers I would highly recommend them .

Marco was an excellent house sitter. He looked after our house, cats, greenhouse and plants very well. He was clean, tidy and very cheerful, with remarkably good English. We would happily recommend him and hope he might come back here again.
