This was our first house sitting job, Natasha and James went our of there way to make us feel comfortable. We had a lovely time looking after Teddy and millie. The house was spotlessly clean ( hope we left it as we found it.)
It was such an great experience staying in the lovely location of Vancouver. Alma is very shy.But She is happy to play with her toys. I visited to Lorna and Ashlee's place one day before the sit. They gave me clear introduction. During our stay, they were fast to response to my question too! Unfortunately, there were bedbugs on their bed. Other than that,we were totally happy to take care of Alma.
My stay at Kathy and Dave's home was blissful. I enjoyed every moment of it. Their home has everything you would ever need in it. As well, it is a work of art, so beautiful. Their pets, Tesla, Ripley and Percy are all easy going and wonderful to be with. We all had fun. Any needed communication between Kathy, Dave and I was quick and easy. Thank you both for venturing into this experience with me. It gave me an opportunity to explore this part of British Colombia. The town of Rossland has such a friendly easy-going feeling to it. It is clear that people are very health conscious and active here. To me, it especially seems like a wonderful place to raise children and / or ski and bike and hike! High praises and appreciation for this experience. Kathy and Dave you are awesome!!
We had a wonderful time with Buddy, LouLou and Bertie in Yesiluzumlu. Liz and Andy are very kind and warm. Andy picked us up in Fethiye and Liz gave us a thorough walk thru of their home and the instructions for taking care of the dogs. Their home is a lovely villa located ~3km from the village. It is quiet and peaceful with great views of the nearby orchards and farmland and the surrounding mountains. The villa is comfortable and has a nice terrace where you can read and relax with the dogs. The three dogs were a hoot, each with a unique personality. Bertie loved to be near you and to have his back rubbed. LouLou couldn't get enough petting and loved to snuggle on the couch. Bertie was the young man who was active and enjoyed playing. All three dogs loved their twice a day walks on the rural roads near the villa. We enjoyed our stay very much and would love to return again for another sit.
Crin and Guy gave us a warm welcome to their beautiful home. They are super nice, helpful, welcome children and gave us all the information we needed about the site and the surrounding area, which is beautiful by the way: diverse nature, gardens, lovely towns, castles and much more. We also enjoyed the in-depth conversations with them over a glass of wine. They also run an Airbnb, which is a beautiful flat right next to their house. Juno is one of the loveliest dogs we have ever met. It was very hard to say goodbye, especially for the children. Thanks so much for having us.
We had a wonderful time caring for the gorgeous Luna! Everything about the sit was great - from the detailed welcome guide, the hospitality of Tabitha and Jay, communication before and during the sit, and, of course, the lovely Luna. Luna is a great companion! She was there to greet us when we arrived (she is a chatty cat, which I love!) and would hang around with us in the mornings and the evenings. During the day, she mainly was in the back yard, enjoying the outdoors. It was fun to come home to her, as she always would greet us. She's not much of a lap cat, but she did lay on my chest one night and made me feel very special :) Tabitha and Jay's home is so comfortable, and we immediately felt at home and welcome. We enjoyed all of the art and beautiful design elements, inside the house and in the front and back yard. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious and we slept great. For working remote, there is a desk with a nice view out the front window. The location of the house is perfect to explore different parts of Orange County. We followed Tabitha and Jay's advice and tried a few of the places they recommended in Santa Ana for eating out, which were great. And we found a lot of beautiful hikes within 30 minutes of the house. Tabitha and Jay made us feel so welcome from our first Facetime to our last text. We highly recommend this sit if you are looking for a great getaway to Southern California. Thank you Tabitha and Jay!
