Maria was a pleasure to meet and did an excellent job explaining what needed to be done. Home is very comfortable and nicely located for getting out and exploring the area. Rolly, Boo and Charlie all have unique personalities with Rolly very laid back to Boo with an enormous amount of energy and Charlie in between. We did have a hard time getting a good nights sleep the first couple of nights as the dogs were a bit restless in the bedroom at night-but they eventually became used to us and settled down. Overall it was a great sit.
My husband and I really enjoyed housesitting for Christina over Thanksgiving. Christina’s home is comfortable, super clean and organized. She is a great communicator and a gracious host. Franny the cat spends all of her time outside and she loves it. I would sit on a chair in the sun with her on my lap and feel blissful. I highly recommend this housesit!
George was such an awesome cat. Smart, playful, and chill. Had a great experience in Arlington/DC. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Kara and Lee were great at communicating. The house is very clean and lovely. George is such a gentleman! I will definitely housesit again in the future given the opportunity.
We thoroughly enjoyed our sit at Mathilda’s charming and well appointed cottage. Thank you for inviting us. We are sure anyone who is lucky enough to sit for you will feel as fortunate as us. Alfriston is a gorgeous village with all you could need within easy reach on foot. The Village Stores, unique book shop, fantastic tea room, bijou shops, lovely places to eat and drink and stunning countryside. Each morning we would take Rory out for an idyllic walk along either the river Cuckmere or on the South Downs. Rory is the loveliest of springer spaniels. Responsive, alert and very well behaved. We had the same wonderful walk in the afternoon or early evening depending on the weather. We enjoyed glorious sunshine all week so sometimes we didn’t walk Rory until later in the day when it was cooler. We highly recommend this sit. Thank you again Mathilda and Rory.
We had a such a great time at Frippy's place! Frippy was incredibly welcoming and helpful. We also loved watching Lagertha, Nelly, and Pi. They all had so much personality, and we had fun hanging out with them. Lagertha and Nelly are so sweet and mild mannered. Pi is energetic and fun and loves some attention. All three were a joy to watch! The property is also beautiful, with sweeping views of the countryside. We had fun taking the bikes into town and enjoying the sunshine! Couldn't recommend this house sit more!
