April and Anne were my first ever pet/house sitters outside of family members and I couldn't be more pleased. They came in a day early, since I had an early morning flight. Throughout their stay, they kept in touch and sent me updates on my "kids".

I want to give them a special shout out for their grace and composure when my AC went out. Of course, it was during a week when the temperatures were hitting 100. They rolled with it and coordinated with me to accommodate the diagnostic visit and replacement of my AC. It was nice to have experienced homeowners caring for my home during this unexpected event.

I came home to happy pups, a spotless house and pool, and some delicious leftovers in the fridge. They even left me a cute little bird who is now perched in my living room.

I would definitely recommend them to care for your home and/or pets. Five stars all around!!

I could not be more pleased. I left for a month and came home to a clean house and very happy dog! My puppy is high energy and needed daily hikes. Hamsa has gone above and beyond, finding new trails and new favorite toys for my little man. She has been incredible and kept me constantly updated throughout my trip. I would have her back in a heartbeat. I trust her completely and I cannot recommend her highly enough!

Tawnya
My boyfriend and I had the most amazing time in Santa Barbara with Murphy! Unfortunately, we did not meet Tawnya or Geoff in person, but Tawnya and I met through virtual chat several months in advance of the sit. She sent me a thorough guide to their home and Murphy, which I found extremely helpful. I don't think she left out a single detail. She even had a copy printed out at the house.

Murphy is a gorgeous ball of love!! He has the sweetest puppy dog eyes and was really good on walks, even on the beach. He is a big boy but so gentle. My boyfriend bonded with Murphy so quickly and began calling him "the Murph-meister". Murphy really does just want to hang out with you. He'd be happy sunbathing in the yard with you all day, if that's your thing.

Tawnya sure knows how to treat her sitters well! She had prepared the most thoughtful gift basket and also made signs welcoming us; what a nice touch. We truly felt like guests in her home. Everything we could have needed was made available to us, including books, board and card games, and even binoculars to get a close-up view of the ocean. Their home and property are amazing and I felt so at home there. The backyard is unbelievable; I wish I had spent more time out there. She encouraged us to help ourselves to the garden produce, which included strawberries, tomatoes, and lettuce. We had a problem with the sink halfway through our stay, and I sent Tawnya a few messages describing the issue. Within a couple hours there was a friendly plumber at the door. Talk about efficiency!! We met a few of Tawnya's friends (as well as Murph's furry friends) and they were all so lovely to us.

After nearly 12 days of exploring Santa Barbara, I can confidently say the Mesa is the best 'hood for your home base! Walking distance to everything, including the ocean - views for miles. We did a lot of exploring and were there for Fiesta Days, so there was a lot for us to see/do. The weather was amazing - not a drop of rain. It's easy to get around on foot or via city transit (bus).

I highly recommend this sit and would not hesitate to take care of Murphy again. In fact, I really hope to! We miss him already!!

Leah
Sitting for Leah was like sitting for a dear friend. She has a brilliant smile and a graciousness that immediately set me at ease. Her home is stylish and comfortable and a stone's throw from the Marina on the Bay Trail -- perfect for biking, strolling, or sailing. There are a couple of nice restaurants nearby and the SF Ferry is a 15 minute walk. The complex also has a nice gym and an outdoor pool.

I enjoyed receiving updates and pictures from Leah's travels and sharing cute pictures with her of her beloved cat, "Agent Bristow. " A.B. was a little shy at first but he quickly warmed up, curling up next to me on Leah's bed as I watched tv or read. When I had to go out for a few hours I put on cat tv which he seemed to enjoy. A.B. is a dignified older gentleman who won't try to escape the minute you open the front door. He likes company, cuddling and routine and is afraid of loud noises and sudden moves. He is most compatible with a gentle, quiet person who lets him approach at his own pace. Your patience will be rewarded : )

Ann
Our stay for Ann in Gloucester was very welcoming and the dogs Rudi and Callie are well behaved , routined and easy to work with, they have a fantastic designated walking area only minutes away at the beautiful Haresfield Beacon, a huge fenced area with many walking paths you can take short paths or walk for miles which allows the dogs to run free, all the other dogs were behaved also, the outlook is amazing you can see all the way to Wales, the home is very comfortable and such a pleasure to do this house sit, complements to Ann.
