Where to begin? Nancy & Joop’s home is truly a destination sit. I would go so far as to call it a once in a lifetime! Nancy and Joop were such gracious and kind hosts who made me valued and welcome, and ensured I would be a good fit with Ollie and Sassy. Their home is nothing short of enchanting. I genuinely felt like I was living in a modern-day storybook cottage, complete with my own little Secret Garden oasis of a back yard. Their historic 1920’s bungalow is chocked full of precious original features and flooded with gorgeous natural light. The chef’s kitchen is a dream and the entire home is tastefully appointed with modern comforts and beautiful antiques. Their location is incredibly walkable to groovy downtown Petaluma and accessibility to San Francisco and wine country is also spectacular. I would recommend this sit for anyone that consider themselves a *true* cat person. I stayed with Ollie and Sassy for nearly 3 full weeks and I really treasure the bond I formed with each of them. Sassy is a little “spicy” to begin with but after exercising patience and respect for her personal space she resolved to trust me and that evolved into a sweet little friendship! She isn’t a big snuggler but she is an excellent “supervisor”. If you are outside doing pretty much anything she’ll be nearby checking you out and making sure things are up to standard. If you talk with her about what’s going on in your day she will also talk back! Ollie is the sweetest little soul. He was sweet and gentle from the beginning but not terribly interested in me at first. After about a week he started to show genuine interest and trust in me and regularly sought me out for snuggles and skritches. We developed such a special bond. Duties for this sit are very straightforward and instructions are excellent. Morning feedings start pretty early so that is something to consider. They both prefer to *go* outside so there is little to no litter box maintenance. Ollie and Sassy are great about staying quite close to home and coming inside for dinner on a very regular schedule. The most important job of this sit is really being invested in Ollie and Sassy, providing care for them on their terms, and earning their trust. I am so fortunate to have connected with all 4 of this spectacular little family and hope to stay in touch with this lovely couple in the future. We had a great time looking after Jenna and Craig´s home and taking care of their gorgeous bengals, Missy and Boystrous. Communication with Jenna and Craig, both before and during the sit, was excellent. They sent us a very handy detailed guide beforehand, as well as some useful videos with explanations, and generally went out of their way to make sure that we had everything we needed during our stay. Missy and Boystrous were an absolute joy to look after. Both are so affectionate (and very chatty!) and we loved playing with them. Missy followed us around everywhere demanding attention and often curled up on our laps or joined us in bed. Although Boystrous was outside more, he was also so pleased to see us when he came back from his adventures. They really are beautiful, charming and very well-behaved cats and a pleasure to spend time with. Jenna and Craig´s flat is very comfortable and we had everything and more for a very pleasant stay. Although we enjoyed spending time at home with the cats, we had a look at the local area too and if you wish to go further afield, there´s a tube station just a short walk away. So, for all the above reasons, we highly recommend housesitting for Jenna and Craig. They´re very friendly and organised hosts, their pets are absolutely fantastic to be with, and the area in which they live is a great place to get to know. What more could you want?!
We had the most wonderful sit with Lolly at Peter and Gill's beautiful and super comfortable family home. It was easy communicating with Peter. Such a lovely family. Lolly has such a sweet way about her and is very good with children. She keeps herself to herself around other dogs and has excellent recall. We really did grow to adore her. Very well behaved at home, and loves a ball! It's easy to calm her down when needed or when she is over guarding or patrolling the garden. All for good reason though, as there's a beautiful white hen in her self-sufficient coop that may attract the odd fox, naturally. The house itself was super equipped and homely. We had everything that we needed. The garden was bigger than it looks and is very inviting, with the water sounds from the pond and the cosy summer house. We loved the wood fired hot tub, too. The garden really was like a little retreat space. The location was also great for us. Just a five minute walk to Preston Park and twenty minutes from the North Laines. Sending big thank yous to the entire family for the great experience. We hope to see you again someday :) Gia and Gill x
Francie was a lovely host! She was a proactive communicator and made sure I had everything I needed for a great week at her place. Miggy, Saussy and Kelli are all well behaved and adorable. Their routines are simple and make for a low maintenance stay. Thank you Francie for the hospitality!
It was such a joy to watch over Paula while her loving mama Farrin was away! Farrin’s neighborhood was charming, convenient and safe, and her home is cozy, inviting, clean, and full of books to explore! Paula is an absolute dear and will break your heart open. Farrin was very descriptive and organized, making everything totally effortless and comfortable. She’s a great communicator and a caring person. I would highly recommend this sit! :)

This was our first time taking our babies to a pet resort and let me tell you. IT WAS AMAZING. Pinky’s was so responsive to my texts and we got emails of our girls stay every night. We have 3 dogs, all girls: a Pitbull Mix, Weimaraner and a Border Collie. We usually keep the Weimaraner separated from the other two for past behaviors. However, Pinky’s integrated our 3 girls with lots of bonding time. Needless to say, we now keep all 3 together. I can’t say that this would be the situation for all, but we sure are grateful. They really treated our dogs like their own. We also fully support Pinky’s dream of supporting their son Axel, who is Autistic. What a wonderful experience this was. It’s abundantly clear why they have 5 star reviews. We will definitely have our girls back.
This is my second time boarding my dog at Pinky’s and I absolutely love them. From the initial meet and greet to pick up, the atmosphere was very welcoming and reassuring. They offered great communication via text and email before, during, and after my dogs visit. With daily updates being provided, I was never left with doubts about my dogs welfare and wellbeing. My son looked forward to every daily update and he was delighted and full of excitement when they came as he was able to see our little dog even while we were away. I have definitely found my forever boarding facility at Pinky’s and I would highly recommend this Pet Resort to anyone and everyone.
This was our 1st time boarding our fur baby Nugget. This is such a great business, and the pets are well cared for! I enjoyed the daily reports with pictures during the stay! I also appreciated all the information provided to us since this was our 1st time! Definitely recommend Pinky's!
We had a great experience boarding our dog at Pinky's! Our German Shepherd, Earl, was well taken care of. We were provided nightly updates, including pictures. Pinky was very friendly and easy to communicate with. It's very clear that they make great efforts to ensure it's a stress-free stay for the pets.

I left my 2 babies for 1 week and Pinky was able to accommodate us for 1 additional week with short notice and very graciously. She sent me the cutest daily reports and really put me at ease with her professionalism and caring demeanor. It's obvious she loves what she does and takes great pride in her business. On a side note, my little miniature pinscher has improved her behavior so much since her stay that it seems she underwent 2 weeks of gentle training. I am so happy I found this place for my next trips.

This thoughtful touch provided me with incredible peace of mind, knowing my baby was not only well-cared for but having a blast. The facility itself is well-designed, spacious and equipped with everything a pet could dream of. The staff is warm, professional, and went above and beyond to cater to my pet's specific needs and preferences. The range of activities and the level of personal attention my pup received was outstanding. Pinky's Pet Resort is a cut above the rest. Pinkys was an amazing experience to leave my two boys at. The daily emails with photos showed helped keep peace of mind to know that my dogs were in such amazing hands. Will for sure be using Pinky’s again in the future!
Pinky’s was the best place by FAR out of any of the options we considered in San Antonio. Pinky’s clear communication eased our worries as dog parents leaving our puppy for the first time. Pinky sends out pup reports about their day, and we anxiously waited for our pup’s reports each night we were gone. From the reports, we read and saw that our pup had outdoor time, enjoyed the shallow pool just as she does at home, made friends with other dogs and got to see and spend time with several of the same dogs who were also her size. We definitely will be using Pinky’s again, and are grateful for the aftercare tips that she sent home with us as well. Thank you Pinky for taking such good care of our puppy!
