We just completed our 20th sit and we’ve named it the trifecta sit, our best sit ever! Extraordinary hosts, the best cat, and a beautiful place to enjoy. This sit deserves way more than the 5 stars that we are limited to. It was a real pleasure meeting Cheryl and Roy and getting to visit with them before they left for Italy. They showed us around the house and went over everything we might need. Cheryl was great at communicating and always provided a quick answer to anything we asked, even while overseas! We were able to spend more time with them when they returned and all we can say is, they are the kind of people you wish were your neighbors so you could have them over for dinner on a regular basis. So much fun to be around! Dickens is a wonderful kitty, very loving and sweet. After just one day he was hanging out and giving us his full attention. He is one of the best cats we have ever sat with. It was really hard to leave him and we’re hoping he will remember us when we come back to see him next year. What a great place to relax! Their magnificent waterfront home in the Vermont countryside has beautiful views of Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains. You can spend hours just walking the grounds. The guest bedroom and bath are very nice. Our bedroom had more great views of the lake and mountains. The house has the best of everything and you’ll enjoy every minute, just as we did. There’s plenty of wildlife around. The birds are out every day, along with squirrels and chipmunks. We got to observe a flock of turkeys on this beautiful property. There are so many fun things to see and do within a short driving distance of the house. Vergennes is nearby with many places to eat and shop. There’s lots of early American history in the area, with so many things to do close by. There’s so much to do, you’ll run out of time before you can see it all. We enjoyed every single minute of our stay here, and can’t wait to go back! Galynn and Michael Cox
Heidi was a super nice lady. Loved her house, it was very comfortable. She was trusting and left very good information. How fun it was to pet sit a gecko, named Poppy. Not too difficult. Slater, her big old boy cat was a delight. He liked to cuddle up at night was really is a very sweet cat. Very nice sit.
Poppy and Lilly are bundles of fluffy joy, full of cuddles, kisses and happy tail wags. John and his family are warm and considerate hosts, truly willing to go above-and-beyond to ensure a comfortable experience. The space is large and comfortable, great internet access, and wonderful walking paths nearby where Poppy and Lilly proudly prance like the Princesses they are. The location is stunning, with everything you need nearby. which is to rent a car, and I am glad we did as Poppy and Lilly are great travel buddies and love an adventure
Coco and Uni are two very sweet older dogs that pee a lot haha. Sheena was very transparent about that, so I was prepared. It took a few days for me to find the right rhythm with taking care of the doggies’ bathroom needs, but then I got to know exactly how they are and what they need. Sheena is very kind, trusting, open and a pleasure to communicate with. Her apartment is very centrally located in Downtown SF, and I enjoyed perusing the neighborhood. I would be happy to sit again anytime!
Arabella has a lovely home in a beautiful location in the centre of the Cotswolds! She was very relaxed about our arrival time and once we got there, we were shown round the house, told all about Cybil and even taken on a short walk - it made us feel very comfortable and confident right away! Cybil is such a lovely dog, always up for fuss and cuddles on the sofa. We enjoyed cosying up in the lounge with all the pets and the open fire. We wouldn't hesitate to go back!
Andy & Jo are wonderful hosts with great communication throughout. We had a comfortable stay at their lovely home. Sprocket and Custard are an absolute dream, they love playing on the beach catching tennis balls and in the evenings enjoyed snuggling on the couch watching movies with us :) Thanks so much guys!
