Excellent place for your Dog! The staff is excellent and very caring! Camp is thorough in its requirements of the owners for your dogs shots and registrations. They care very much about each and every dog and want them to be well and have a great time at camp! The specials they have ie. Hot Dog Day are always great for the dogs! A safe and first rate run camp for your dog!
I love Camp Bow Wow, more importantly my dog does too! The staff are always friendly and accommodating. They respond quickly to booking requests and any questions. The environment is clean, current and inviting. My dog loves going and is fun to watch on the streaming cameras. Staff are always alert and watch the dogs continually. Boarding at Camp Bow Wow is great as well. I needed to change my plans and they were more than happy to keep my dog longer than I had anticipated. I highly recommend Camp Bow Wow for day camp and boarding.
I’m a “single dog mom” who needs to go into the office to work part of the week. I’ve also needed coverage occasionally on a Saturday. I’m so grateful for a place like Camp Bow Wow. My girl Luna is always so excited to go there. She comes home tired and happy. I haven’t tried boarding yet but we will in October. And I feel confident she will be in good hands!
Everyone is always friendly and welcoming. I love being able to check up on our golden whole I am at work on the live cameras. I feel very comfortable leaving our girl with the staff at Camp Bow Wow. Their groomers always do a great job.
My pup, Honey, has been at Camp Bow Wow for three months. Love the flexibility in scheduling and the ability to add on enrichment classes for mental stimulation and training. My pup always feel safe and comes home happy and tired. She is always greeted by name by the caring staff. Parents can watch their dogs play throughout day and watch the sanitation process - so important these days.
I purchased a 5 full-day daycare package and 2 nights of boarding for our dog, Hudson. We used 3 of the daycare visits to get him used to Camp Bow Wow. This was his first time ever sleeping away from home and he is very attached to us so we were a little nervous. He did great with the boarding - was kept safe and secure. The staff is very caring and will follow any special instructions you have to make your dog happy! The building is also spotless. The pet cams are fantastic - it gives you peace of mind being able to watch your dog in the play yards! Thank you for taking care of our boy! Love it there!
The friendly staff and how helpful they are with all of our concerns. My dog is so happy there. For an old man dog (13 years old) with health problems, I’m glad I found an affordable place that loves on my dog while I’m at work or out of town!
We got a puppy right as COVID started and quickly learned the importance of training your puppy right away. Thank goodness for Camp Bow Wow and their virtual training! Teddy had so much fun taking the classes. The teacher was great and did such an outstanding job teaching us how to train Teddy. Highly recommend them!
My dog loves Camp Bow Wow! He gets excited the minute we pull into the parking lot. I know I don’t have to worry about him when I leave him there.
We like the daycare and boarding services. We really appreciate the friendly staff
I booked this kennel last minute because around the Fourth of July everything else was full. When I looked at the accommodations, it was a super eight compared to a Hilton and I felt it acceptable being as again. I booked last minute.. The owner seemed really nice. He showed us the kettles in the back where my dog would be It looks like old-fashioned kennels or something from a dog shelter. I did like how he would be able to go out during the day as long as it was not raining or snowing as what I was told to relieve himself. When I came back to get my dog, I was very shocked of the condition. His paws were filled with feces, and his bed had to be thrown out. When we walked in the back to get him with the owner, we were told that we could not go to the back of the kennels like we did before, and that he would bring him out, which was a little odd to me. When my dog came out he did not seem himself at all. His paws were wet, and the owner said that he had to spray him off because my dog pooped on his bed and then laid in it. My dog is fully trained. I have never had any problems at any place that I have ever brought him. First time that I had to go home without his bedding because I was told that he pooped on it I do not think that he pooped on it. I think that he was not let out when he was supposed to be, and for some reason, he pooped in the kennel and then walked through it and tracked it onto his bed. My dog took a while when we got home to start acting like himself a full two days this has never happened again at any place that I have ever left him. It took me a while to write this review Because I wanted to make sure that it was not just my dogs reaction to all kennels as he has been boarded four times since at two different locations that we absolutely loved and we’ve had no issues. My suggestion would be find somewhere else. I don’t know what went on at that kennel if my dog was even cared for, but I will never leave him there again and he came home with almost the full amount of food that he left with and we were gone for a full six days.
We left out intact GSD with the owner of Pine Bush over a three day period and were very pleased. Our dog was received in an orderly fashion and pick up times, were accurate. Pleased he had an outside run. Our canine back from his first experience happy and clean.
Nice cheap Quality kennel last-minute accomodations for our shepherd puppy. Eric is very helpful knowledgeable Easy to work with & Again Accommodating & Cheap.
Left dog for 6 days with him my dog had most of dog food left bite marks on him crazy weight lost I do not recommend at all
When you walk in you can tell he loves animals. I know when my 2 dogs are there, they are looked after. They have a warm or cool place to stay depending on the season. You can never expect someone to care for your pets like you do, however it is nice knowing they are taken care of and better than some of the in home sitters we have had.
This place is passable, but I would not choose it if I had another option. The main reasons we boarded our dogs here were: 1) it accepts intact dogs, and 2) doesn't require a trial board (although, I do understand the objective of these policies). A couple concerning things happened after we picked them up from their 2-night stay. One dog peed for almost a full minute, very yellow, after leaving the place at just 9am. The other dog drank a full bowl of water when arriving home. Could have been their own fault but weird nonetheless. The man in charge seems nice and easy going. The kennel is very similar to a dog shelter I volunteer at. Overall it looks old and dingy inside. The kennel area did not smell and seemed clean. Each dog is separated by a 4-ft concrete wall with chain link extending another 2 ft. The floors are heated concrete. They rigged some sliding doggie doors on pull strings at the back of each kennel that allow the dogs to go out to a small chain link area where they can defecate. We were told that these doors are left open when it's over 40°, otherwise they are only open for 15 mins a few times a day. There are no family-size kennels where multiple dogs can stay together (aside from tiny breeds). This was a huge detractor for us because our dogs were probably a lot more stressed not being together. Lastly, the prices are reasonable at $20-$30/night per dog, depending on the weight, plus minimal fees. We normally pay $43/night at another place far away that is updated with lots of staff, large rooms, comfy dog furniture and web cameras.
Great customer service, was able to get help quickly during an unfortunate situation where the kennel I had lined up closed overnight with no warning to clients. Very helpful and understanding.
I called to try and make arrangements for my puppy while in the process of moving and the man on the phone told me he’s trying to run a business not a charity all because I couldn’t give him an exact time. He was rude with an attitude and making unnecessary comments. After saying my puppy would be 25 dollars a day he makes a comment like that. They’re not getting my money.
My husband and I boarded our dogs here for a short weekend. When my husband picked them up, he was horrified to find that the towels we left for them were completely soaked in cold urine, a toy covered in something disgusting, and both approached my husband as if in utter fear. It was clearly evident that they were neglected during the weekend. The owner threw away our food containers saying “I threw out the little Chinese ones but left you the good ones.” We will not be coming back and advise others to proceed with caution.
Excellent service and great customer support!! Wonderful staff very nice and very caring for the pets!
I cannot say enough amazing things about the Henry Loves Betty team! Over the last 3-4 years, we’ve utilized just about every service they offer- daycare, training, dog walks, grooming, boarding and social club (a genius feature). Our little corgi has been going to Henry Loves Betty since she was about a year old and she feels safe, is always exceedingly well cared for and I know they are sneaking in training sessions because she is so polite, responsive and social. We’ve moved 2 hours away and still try to bring our dog for grooming, boarding and daycare a few times a month. This team truly cares deeply for your pet and with our busy schedules we our so grateful that they are responsive and really work to help us manage our schedules without compromising quality of care for our fur baby. Social club has helped make Peach a braver pup and explore more! I love seeing her play in puddles, and become less adverse to water and rain because she’s had outdoor adventure fun with other dogs. Also, the community of pet parents and owners are so wonderful! Doggy birthdays, celebrating wins and just saying hi and asking about your pets when they see them. I can’t rave enough about the rest of the crew. Thank you so so so much
Love this place. They really care for your pups and enrich them. Cannot recommend daycare enough and their grooming is perfection. Our puppy comes back from daycare more obedient and tired.
Aislinn has been grooming our mini goldendoodle since he’s been a puppy and always does a fantastic job! She really cares and is so patient. Would highly recommend!
I've trusted Aislinn to groom my two dogs for over two years. She handles them with love and care as if they were her own. They leave happy and clean, smelling yummy and adorned in a new bandana. I am able to drop them off at their appointment time and pick them up right after they are finished so I don't have to leave them all day.
Our dog has never left a groom happier! We have a excitable and sometimes nervous Bernese Mountain Dog and Aislinn does a great job with him every time.
Henry Loves Betty has been a lifesaver since getting my dog Keene as a puppy last March. I can’t imagine going through the potty training stage without the help of their puppy program and daily walks. Now that he’s a bit older, I love sending him to daycare or social club to help keep him entertained and well socialized. They always give such thorough updates and I love getting pictures of Keene while I’m at work. I was SO happy to hear when they started offering dog grooming. Being that Keene is a doodle, I knew I’d need to find a trustworthy and reliable groomer for him to see regularly. Keene started first with a few puppy trims to get him comfortable with being groomed and handled, and then transitioned into getting full, adult cuts. My favorite thing about their grooming is that it’s only Aislinn and your dog there when they’re getting groomed. This not only allows for less distractions that could overwhelmed an uncomfortable dog, but means that Aislinn’s full attention is on your dog. Keene and I have both had such positive experiences with her grooming—with him being so excited to see her and “hangout”, and me always being impressed with how great he looks after. Overall, the whole staff is phenomenal at HLB! They are all so knowledgeable and truly treat your dog with so much love. If you’re considering using any of HLB’s services, I highly recommend—you will not be disappointed!!
Nothing but wonderful praise for Paula and the loving care and attention she always gives to Zoey when she’s boarding! I used to worry about Zoey being stuck in a kennel for days on end with no exercise, love and attention. Not anymore! I get photos and updates every day and in every picture, my pup is smiling and living her best life! Hands down, THE BEST PLACE for boarding! Thank you Paula ❤️
This is the best doggy daycare place ever. We love the owner and all the staff so much. They truly treat all the pups with love and care, and go above and beyond on everything! The daycare facility is always well kept and clean. Our dog loves going to daycare so much that when we are going towards the direction of Troy she starts being impatient. They post videos and photos of the pack playing almost daily on their Instagram story which is super cute and amazing. They also offer boarding service that's very reasonably priced. We were worried about boarding our dog at first because she had bad experiences with boarding before, but she absolutely loves boarding with HLB. Paula would even pick up our dog to board and drop her off which is super convenient for us. We receive daily updates and photos of her as well. We've recommended Henry loves Betty to many people because this is a truly wonderful place for dogs to hang out with each other.
We bring our dog all the way from Saratoga to get groomed by Aislinn. No matter the condition of his hair, she always has him looking perfect and exactly the way we want it every single time, all in a very timely manner! I will never bring my dog anywhere else as long as I live around here and she is still grooming! The shop is in a perfect location. Although being in the heart of Troy, there is never any issue with parking. There are plenty of places to eat, relax, shop, etc all in walking distance while your dog is getting groomed. If you’re in need of a groomer, especially if they are some sort of doodle, this is the spot!
We recently moved to Troy and needed drop-in service for our cats. Henry Loves Betty is the best local choice for us. The prices are about the same as private sitters, but the service is more professional. It's also reassuring to know that if a sitter has an emergency and can't make it, they will find someone who can. The sitter was excellent. We received an update with photos every visit. I will use them again.
10000% recommend! She boarded my pup last minute for us and I could not be more happy. You can tell she gave him lots of love. He is also tuckered out on the way home!!!
Libby had a great time at Ardvark, while my husband and I had a little weekend away in Saratoga springs. Tara was so great to our little pup and we got great updates with pics and text so I didn't have to worry about her. We will definitely use ardvark again!
They have always watched my pets. They are affordable, kind, and reliable! They have a fenced yard for dogs. They will also come to your house to check in on a cat.
Absolutely the best and only place you should be bringing your best friend. Cage free living and great folks to boot!
Caring and responsible pet sitters.
We are so grateful to have found Meg to take care of our puppy Ruby. Ruby has spent days and nights at Megs and she loves it! She loves playing with her fur baby friends and she loves spending time with Meg. We know Ruby is safe and loved every time she is with Meg in her home.
Meg is the best. She has been taking care of my puppy for a while now and has been energetic, reliable and quick to identify and communicate any issue worth noting. As a new dog owner I have trusted her advice and am happy to have her a part of my team. Most importantly, my puppy LOVES her!
She takes great care of the pets. Better then some parents take care of their kids, we have had 3 rescues and they all love going to Meg. recommend her 112%
Meg is outstanding! We went on vacation and she took care of our 2 dogs, Champ and Rosco, and our cat Gypsy as her own. But when she noticed the plants needed watering, she took care of them also. Going on vacation is so much easier now. Thank you very much.
Meg is amazing, my animals absolutely adore her! I cannot begin to cover how amazing it is to have multiple animals & still be able to travel with no worries! That was not always the case. Being able to leave town with zero worries is a godsend. When I moved into the area, Meg was a referral from another pet sitter that knew Meg could handle multiple animals, work with any breed and she would not shy away from special needs. The fact that all my furbabies absolutely love her is just icing on the cake. The furbabies and I are the fortunate ones, Meg makes it easy for us.
Meg is simply amazing! We have 2 black house panthers that are extremely skittish. We were extremely nervous how they'd behave with her, whether they'd come out to eat or not. When Meg visits to feed them they greet her at the door and accept chin scratches. They hide from everyone else but not Meg. She has a very calm and soothing energy that animals respond to. She is truly a house panther whisperer! Can't recommend her enough!
Headed out of town for Christmas and a week before leaving we realized we needed a sitter for our Bunny Lola. Found Meg online and she came to the rescue. She was extremely reliable and prompt. She was willing to come to my place for daily visits with Lola which worked out great for Lola. She is now listed in my contacts as Bunny sitter for future vacations. Defiantly recommend. Thank you Meg!!
We were heading out of town for a week and ran into a pinch trying to find a reliable pet sitter/boarder. All the big names were booked and couldn’t accommodate and most didn’t even answer their phones or call me back. On the second day of research and phone calls I came across Meg’s business. She was able to squeeze our Sherman into her schedule. What a blessing! Her high reviews were accurate in describing her quality of service, care, and competitive prices. She’s very personable, loves dogs and spoils them rotten! Sherman did not miss us! Haha! Every other day she sent photos and videos of the fun, friends and activities that the dogs were enjoying. You CANNOT get the level of care anywhere else like with Meg. It proved to be more of a home than a business, a passion more than a profit for Meg. I will DEFINITELY be recommending her to all my friends and booking with her in the future.
Love Meg, we work together in rescue. Let me tell you, I've never seen a more loving person. I highly recommend her services if you need a pet sitter, she will treat your dog as if it was her own.
Meg is fabulous with all animals. She is loving, kind, compassionate and a true animal lover. She has a heart of gold and treats her client’s pets with the utmost care. Highly recommend her!
Excellent pet sitting service! Melissa is accommodating and works out all the details. Melissa and Heather took great care of our dog and parrot. They easily worked out an overnight/daily visit schedule to meet the needs of our dog. Appreciated the pictures and texts😊 …
I have used Toni since she first started her pet sitting service. She has always been great, sending us photos of our cats and leaving follow up notes. She is always quickly responds to any requests. Our kitties love having her take care of them. I feel my pets and house are safe and in good hands with her service.
We contracted My Furry Family Pet Sitters at the holidays when I know it was a very busy time. Toni was the utmost professional. Despite a busy schedule, she not only took care of feeding and watering my cats, but gave them the love and attention they needed. She sent many pictures daily to assure us that they were doing well. I would definitely hire again!
Toni is just great. I originally asked her to take care of my two cats about three years ago. They both had health issues and needed meds two times a day. She was able to take good care of them both until I had to put them down. Now she takes care of my healthy young Rocky boy. She really loves pets and is a joy to work with. All of my guys love her. Highly recommend.
I have been using My Furry Family Pet Sitters for almost 3 years now. I have 3 pups and a cat. I can easily communicate our needs to the Pet Sitters and everything is handled and more. I am able to travel with ease. Toni has been amazing from day 1! We consider My Furry Family Pet Sitters part of the family now too!
Toni and the gang at My Furry Family Pet Sitters really rock! They are professional and reliable and I have peace of mind knowing that my two cats, Star & Fang, will get excellent care when I have to go away. When I signed on, Toni came over to meet the guys, check the place out, and document where everything was. I knew everything was going to work right there and that has turned out to be the case. Tony, Melissa, and Dawn really love animals and know a lot. Highest recommendation.
Toni has been taking care of my dogs for years and I absolutely cannot imagine what I would do without her service! She is exceptionally professional and reliable. Very caring and loving. Responsible. Great at communication. I couldn't ask for more. She has always been there for us no matter what the need. And with the addition of Melissa it has only gotten better. I know they truly care about my fur babies. They are the only people I trust to come and take care of my dogs when I can't.
Look no further for pet sitters that are professional and care about your pets as much as you do. Toni and Melissa (and now Dawn) go above and beyond when they watch our pets. In addition to feeding our cats and cleaning the litter, they play with them and always send pictures so we know they're doing fine. They even had a calendar created featuring all of the pets they look after! These pet sitters are incredibly reliable with scheduling and we've never run into an issue, even when we accidentally schedule at the last minute. On top of everything, their rates are more than fair, especially when considering the quality of work they perform. We are very lucky to have found My Furry Family and would recommend them to anyone with pets!
Hands down the very best! Toni Is truly a professional yet the kindest person to our our pets and their humans as well. My Furry Family Pet Sitters are reliable, trustworthy and have always helped us out even with a crisis on short notice. The BEST in the business!
100% trust our fur baby with My Furry Petsitter's! Tony is great with Molly- caring, reliable and certified if anything should happen. She is Molly’s best part of the day. Highly recommend!
Jenny is the best!!! I live about half an hour from Daisy's dog retreat and there are many boarding options very close to me. However this is my boarder of choice. Jenny is great with my not so friendly Chihuahua, and my Golden retriever loves her! I mean what other dog boarder has a large screen TV specifically for the dogs to watch!!! Wish I could give 10 stars
I had a wonderful experience at daisey's!!! It was my first time bording my dog Madison and wIll admit, I was a bit nervous at first. Ginny the owner made me feel at ease and comfortable leaving my baby there. The kennel was so clean and plenty of space for my 70lb dog to run! I can't wait to bring Madison back for maybe just the day if I'm working to have some fun!
Our kuvasz had never been away from home in her 10 years. Not an easy breed but clearly at home with Ginny.... so relieved to have a place that we all feel comfortable with, and one where we know our special old girl can stay. The facility is clean and very accommodating. So happy to have a location that is both beautiful and convenient. Ginny made a point of letting me know klara was doing well and asked questions that were important for her to also feel comfortable caring for such a fickle breed of dog. Really pleased with Ginny at Daisy's doggie retreat!
My dog loves it there
Maureen took great care of our dogs while we were out of town for several days! From the start, she was easy to reach and responsive. She came to meet us and our dogs before our trip, and sent us messages and pictures of the dogs playing while we were away. She took care of some packages that were delivered as well. Overall, she is professional, responsible and trustworthy. I would not hesitate to call her again!
Maureen came highly recommended to us when we were looking for someone to take care of our dogs during our honeymoon. We didn’t want to board them, because our dog Gryffin has anxiety, so we preferred that they’d be able to stay in their own home. After meeting with Maureen for only a few minutes we could tell that she was trustworthy, responsible, and very experienced. We felt so much better knowing that she was caring for our fur babies while we were away, and judging by the pictures she would send us, it’s arguable that the dogs preferred her company over ours at times! When we decided that we were going to move out of town, one of our first thoughts was, who else are we going to find to take care of the dogs who’s as good as her? I guess that’s how you know when somebody’s really good at what they do! Thanks Maureen!
Simply put - Maureen is the best! Maureen was recommended to us by a friend and we have been using her dog walking services weekly. We have two dogs, one of whom is extremely anxious and fearful of new people. Maureen was incredibly patient and took the time to slowly get to know our anxious dog and put those fears to rest! We recently had Maureen take care of our dogs while we were out of town for a week; it was such a relief to be able to go away and not have a single worry about the dogs. Maureen made sure they got plenty of outside time, exercise, and extra attention while we were gone and we returned to very happy, tired dogs! I would (and have) recommend Maureen to anyone without hesitation.
I am so thankful we found Maureen! She takes WONDERFUL care of our dog, providing her with walks, lots of outside time, and plenty of love! Maureen is professional (with many years of veterinary experience), reliable, and incredibly responsive. If you need someone for walking your animals or pet sitting, do NOT hesitate - call her today!
A friend of mine referred me to MC Pet Care for dog walking services and I couldn't be happier! Maureen has been providing care (dog walking services M-F and overnight pet sitting) for our dog, Ruby, since the first week we took her home. She is reliable and trustworthy and takes care of our dog as if she were one of her own.
MC Pet Care is THE very best pet care there is! Maureen has stayed at our home and our lab Bailey has also stayed at her home. She is honest, trustworthy and overall a very caring person. When you choose Maureen for your pet care needs, you will have nothing at all to worry about. She is efficient and responsive when contacted and your pet couldn't be in better hands!!
MC Pet Care is a wonderful business! I'd rate 10 stars if I could. Maureen She stayed in our home when we were traveling and took the best care of our furry family member, which was especially helpful as she got older. I can personally attest that Maureen will treat your companion (cat, dog, alpaca, mini pony, duck, etc) like her own. She is caring, considerate, professional and all around just a great person.
Maureen is the best dog sitter! She is very responsive and reliable. My dog loves her and always looks so happy in the pictures when she’s at Maureen’s house.
Amazing service. Happy cats.
Treats my dogs better then I do! Reliable and very trustworthy, I wouldn’t leave my girls with anyone else. I couldn’t speak more highly of Maureen
From the first meet-and-greet, Jess demonstrated that she is a caring, competent, professional person with lots of personal and work experience caring for pets. She has helped us out with walking and pet-sitting multiple times. When I asked her advice about our mischievous cattle dog mix Artie slipping out of his harness when overwhelmed, she suggested sizing it down - and she was totally right! Most notably, she helped us by watching our rambunctious boy Artie when we went to California for a week. There were several near-catastrophes that Jess navigated with utmost professionalism. When she first arrived, she couldn't enter through the garage and quickly realized the power had gone out. I was at the airport several hours away, and she very quickly did some troubleshooting and made sure our boy was cared for promptly. Thankfully the power was restored quickly and a locksmith was able to meet her to emergently make a hard key copy. She updated us throughout the week about how Artie was doing - including a moment where he was so scared of a loud military plane flying overhead that he slipped out of his harness! Jess scooped him right up, all 37 pounds of him, and held him until he was calm and she could secure his harness and collar again. We're so thankful that she was there to handle everything so competently. Would definitely recommend Jess and Barkers for your pet sitting and walking needs! You can trust your furry friends will be safe and well cared for! Attached is our Artie - all smiles during a play session with Jess!
Excellent people to take care of your loved ones. Very kind and caring who love your pet as much as you do. They'll make sure you don't have to have any worries if you are going away on vacation.
We’ve found them on google, and could not be happier with the service. They are always prompt to get back to us, and most importantly, our two dogs love them. Great availability, even on holidays and weekends! This is our go to dog walker!
Great business all around. We called them and left a voicemail, and got a call back within an hour. All of their prices are posted on the website, and they take cash, check, credit card, and PayPal. Extremely friendly, competent, and reliable. They are the only ones I trust with our dogs and even fish.
I have taken multiple dogs to All Dawgs over several years. They are the best! Training classes and daycare are a wonderful combo to socialize your pup and give them the exercise they crave. Sport sleeps like a baby after his daycare days. Diane and the crew are wonderful and loving to the dogs :-)
I took my 18 week old puppy to her first daycare day and I will never be back. I went here off of good faith and it was close to my work, hoping my puppy could have some more positive dog socialization since she is my only dog. Instead, she was put into a situation that made her nervous; she was put right into a group of dogs and was not assisted with integration or socialization. I was told I could call mid day to check on her, I called 3x until I was able to reach someone. I believe she spent more time in a tiny crate in a lineup of crates with barking dogs then she did out, she was returned to me with urine on her paws, she smelled and was itchy the rest of the evening. Luckily I was able to find a different more privately run and caring daycare that will give my puppy the tools to be successful. Unfortunately, I will never recommend AllDawgs to anyone ever again. Please save your puppy the trauma and find somewhere else to go. I wish I would have turned right around when I arrived in the morning and the personal dogs of the owner were in tiny crates in the office and aggressively barked at me. I always try to give benefit of the doubt, but I recommend against that in this situation.
Our little Daisy is a 2 year old high energy corgi who we have been bringing to All Dawgs since we got her as a puppy! Being able to go through classes at All Dawgs to ensure our pup was well adjusted and friendly was a priority for us. She also goes to daycare several times a week and is always excited to go and has a great time socializing with other dogs and getting her energy out. We have also used All Dawgs boarding school service which really rounded out her training. She had a tendency to eat poop and this has since stopped and her recall is amazing now, boarding school was absolutely worth it (even though we missed her for a few weeks!) The instructors and staff are friendly, communicative, and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend All Dawgs as a place to send your furry friend for classes, daycare or boarding school!
In July we rescued an almost 2 year old Cane Corso (90lbs). When looking for doggie daycare, most facilities were afraid of such a large intimidating pup. Diane and her team met Sarge and could see he was just a handsome mush. After a couple sessions Sarge fell in love with them and they with him. We love the pics they post to Facebook of him playing with other friends in his pack. Thank you to all our friends at All Dawgs.
Our dog goes to doggy daycare 2x a week. When I get her collar and leash she knows what day it is. She loves going and playing with all her friends there, the best part about All Dawgs is you get a report card day your dog attends and it tells you how she played and with who. They even post pictures of dogs playing so you can see your dog playing with other dogs. It's helped our Zoey because she has separation anxiety and when we get home is ready for dinner and chilling on couch.
Reasons for 5 stars for All Dawgs: 1) Effective, 2) Humane, 3) Friendly, 4) Fun, 5) Accommodating. In February I had an aggressive 5 yo mini-Aussie that hated other dogs and bit me 2x. Four short months later I now have a dog that pays attention to me even in the presence of other dogs and doesn't growl even when I pick up a piece of steak from between her front paws. And best of all, she's never been happier or more confident. Poppy loves people but she began developing resource guarding and leash reactivity as a puppy. She breezed through puppy class but remained unusually dominant and willful (not my first dog, or even my first herding dog.) I hired a professional trainer recommended by my vet. His methods were effective in the short run but so harsh it left her with trachea damage and put me off professional training. Summer 2023 I finally decided I had to find another professional. I was wary. I did my homework and enrolled in All Dawgs in-home dog-to--human aggression training. Before that could start Poppy bit me hard, really attacked me, when I absentmindedly reached for her bone from under a chair just a few hours after she tore her second ACL. Yes, she was in pain, but the aggression was not new. Her aggression worsened over the long post-surgery convalescence. She lunged at me more than once when I tried to put her cone back on, teeth bared. I was heartbroken and afraid. When she was well enough for training, I was nearly bitten again trying to muzzle train her (my fault). LuAnn was so great about it. She gave me another week to train muzzle-train her, which I did per their video. It was our first triumph. Our first at-home lesson was in late February 2024. Results were immediate. No joke. The progress was so fast I began to practice without her muzzle by the end of the first week. I also enrolled her in Reactive Rover (muzzled), a class with other leash reactive dogs. Scary. Poppy graduated from both aggression classes with gold stars and a new attitude. We followed up with a Dawg Manners, a regular obedience class with other dogs in the room. I felt imposter syndrome, pretending she was just another dog. But she was great. She growled a little when a puppy bounded into her personal space, but a small verbal correction was all she needed. In fact, she began looking forward to going to All Dawgs. At this point she jumps out of the car with great excitement and would bound through the front door if she had her way. We are now in Real World Obedience, a class that meets at remote locations like parks. On the very first day of class somebody's loose puppy crashed directly into Poppy at full speed (of all the dogs in that park!). No warning. Bam! Both the instructor and I nearly had a heart attack. Poppy was surprised but showed no aggression and settled right down. What a test. What a triumph! We're also taking Intermediate Obedience. Poppy is calm, obedient, even relaxed in a closed room with half a dozen other dogs. She still likes her personal space, but it's three feet, not thirty feet. Poppy finally has the owner she needs and I have the dog I knew she could be. Thank you, All Dawgs.
I've had an excellent experience bringing in my puppy Anubis. Every day I a bring home a more well-adjusted obedient pup. He no longer throws a fit when I leave the room without him and his thoroughly pooped when comes home. He's also friendlier with people and more confident overall. He seems to enjoy going in the morning too!
Diane Blackman and her crew are very compassionate and attentive with all the dogs and clients. I have appreciated all their direction and advice this past year. Most importantly, I TRUST them with my pup! My dog loves dawgie day care and sleeps like a baby when she comes home!
All Dawgs has been with us every step of the way with our rescue dog who has required a lot of training and desensitizing. When we started in classes he couldn't be touched by anyone other than my husband and myself. Through private training with Luann, he is now not only able to attend daycare, but even looks for cuddles and pets from the instructors!
When we got our Golden Retriever puppy, Molly Popcorn, she had way more energy than we ever expected. We had issues with her jumping on everyone, and especially our six year old grandson. I called All Dawgs and asked for some training assistance. The owner, Diane, came out to our house for several private lessons to teach myself, my husband, and my grandson how to teach Molly Popcorn how to become a better dog. After the private lessons, we also did the e-collar remote recall training. I cannot thank Diane and the staff at All Dawgs enough for their training. Molly Popcorn is a much better behaved dog and she is able to run loose on our property now because I know that she will return when she is called. We take her to All Dawgs once a week for daycare and training. She loves the staff and playing with other dogs. She has developed a much better, and well-rounded, personality from the socialization that is given at All Dawgs training than we could have ever given her. I have only positive experiences with Diane and All Dawgs. We get one on one questions answered by the staff and Diane, as well as daily doggie daycare training notes to take home. I would definitely recommend All Dawgs to anyone who is looking for training or dog daycare.
Barking Boutique has done a great job with my little 5 pound Maltese mix. She has separation and anxiety and can be kind of a handful but they have done so well with her. She always looks great when I pick her up and they always do exactly what is asked of them. They are always so nice too! Highly recommend.
I have been bringing my doodle pups to Linda at the Barking Boutique for over fifteen years. That really says it all, doesn't it? My puppies are happy to come here, and they come home beautifully groomed and well attentioned. I would never want to take my littles anywhere else.
Locally owned small business. Affordable and personal care given to each fur baby they groom.
They have an ad out to call us and make an appointment I called first time I got somebody tell me they're not taking a new appointment because of an operation Call left a message they're supposed to call you back never did If this is the way they do business I wouldn't want to be associated with it
Great dog groomer. Friendly service and our dog was groomed just the way we asked. Also, gives courtesy call when your dog is ready for pickup
Great first experience. New Bulldog puppy was taken there to get his nails trimmed. Owner/groomer was excellent. Even offered the service for free. I politely declined and paid anyhow. I intend on bringing my Bulldog back for more comprehensive services in the future.
I am actually still a new client here. However my little 4 legged boy does great here so far. She cuts him exactly for the most part at my request. I just wish I could pic him up in a shorter time, instead of 2 or 3 hours later. I would recommend barking boutique, although I think sometimes she might be overwhelmed by over-booking. Besides all that, she has a great approach, she is pleasant, and very patient with my little Boy😊❤ and I adore her for that.
They were very nice. Good communication. But I asked for a teddy bear cut for my doodle and he came back shaved and looking like a poodle. Was very upset about that. Definitely don't bring your poodle mixes if you don't want them looking like a poodle.
Very nice and caring. They always give my dog a beautiful haircut and nail trims. They also wash my dog’s body very clean!👍👍👍🌹 …
I'm so happy with my shih tzu's haircut! They did a great job around her eyes and feet, not easy areas to trim. The price is reasonable too. Curbside service was smooth and easy. I'm very pleased! Thank you!!
