Michele and Bill were so friendly and hospitable. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and received excellent instructions to take care of their two pups, Leo and Bear. Leo & Bear are quite the characters, very entertaining, funny, energetic, Leo loves his balls and will play for hours and Bear loves his bones. Don't let their appearance fool you, they can certainly take off sprinting faster than you can run (especially Bear aka the Door Missile....lol) They are both so sweet, affectionate, and fun to play with, lounge with, and sit for. Their home is beautiful, filled with tons of games like pool, ping pong, darts, board/card games, a retro arcade, basketball hoop, a gym in the garage, and a treadmill in the downstairs basement 😁. They also live in a nice, quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. We would definitely recommend this sit to anyone and will miss our furry little friends 🐕💕.
It was a pleasure to sit Harper and Casey. Communications with Janet and Brian prior to the sit was very easy and we were made to feel welcome into their clean and spacious home. Being given access to their vehicle was a bonus as even though there is a major grocery store, restaurant and other amenities within walking distance, leaving the local area is much easier by car. Harper was very low maintenance but will tell you quite clearly when he should be fed or let out in the garden on his leash! The rest of the time he finds some sun and sleeps. Casey is one of the most chill dogs we’ve sat. She will happily walk the many trails and pathways in the area and has good recall, especially if there is a treat involved!, but will take 5 if she gets tired or hot, especially if there is a pile of snow to lie on! The rest of the time she just wants to be lying wherever you are. Would happily look after both pets again.
We loved house-sitting for Rikke and Klaus, they're so friendly and helpful and have a lovely home which is easy to get around from. Their cats are so sweet and affectionate and have some hillarious habits, we had a great time with them and their daughters and exploring Denmark. We'd definitely house sit for them again and highly recommend anyone else considering sitting here.
This sit with Luna was absolutely perfect! We couldn’t wish for more kind, friendly, hospitable and generous hosts like Tinneke and Kurt, a clean, modern and comfortable apartment, with a great view and facilities, an amazing neighborhood close to the bus stop and the airport, and extraordinary pets. We could easily keep Luna’s routine, walking and feeding her and the fish, and giving Luna a lot of love and cuddles as she deserve. We had a lot of time to make our own online work in the apartment what Luna loved too, so she could be around us to play, receive more love and cuddles all the time. We cared from the animals from 1st to 9th April 2023 and our hosts were so helpful, flexible and caring offering us to stay more 2 nights (after we had a problem with a cancelation of our next accommodation), giving us amazing hints and the bus card to use, giving a birthday cake to Andrey and also picking us up from the airport when we arrived and leaved Abu Dhabi, UAE. The communication with the hosts from the beginning was clear and fast, they made a big effort to welcome and help us with all our needs, they have a big heart. We absolutely recommend them, what a privilege to contribute with this beautiful family! We are very grateful and wish to see them again in Brazil someday or we’ll be very happy to care of Luna again in future.
My first sitting was with Randa who took a chance on me and invited me to sit with her pets without a history of reviews. I really appreciated her hospitality and kindness. Eva and Chloe were so adorable and it was a pleasure to stay with them. The house felt very cozy and hospitable. I felt like I was right at home or at a resort.
