What a pleasure to have Meredith come take care of Bigz. Meredith took care of everything. Mr Bigz, my plants inside and out, and all the hummingbird feeders I have. I received photo's and updates of bigz. When I got home the house was just like I left it.. and on top of that I had pasta ready for dinner. No question I would love for Meredith to come again anytime. Great experience. Thank you Meredith...

I stayed here Dec. 2018. our first time watching birds. Birds can be messy, so you must be aware you'll clean the cage and vacuum every day. The birds are on a routine, the cover comes off the cage at 7am and they are fed a mixture of seeds, grains, etc. they eat hot food at 5pm and the cover is returned on the cage at 7pm. The owner is able to watch the bird cage 24/7 from her phone. She does expect almost daily communication. She also expects you to spend time at the house so the cage can be open so the birds can have freedom. I would not recommend this pet sit if your a timid person, Lynda is very direct, but at the same time you know what she's thinking. Shoes are to be taken off at the door. Her home is in a nice location with a community pool. Expect to drive her and pick her up from the airport. She's not stingy about electricity (electricity is expensive in Hawaii) she stayed with us 2 nights before she left. I would recommend coming a few days early and staying in the north area of to get a different feel for the island. we stayed on a sailboat through airbnb and loved it in Honolulu. Dont think because you have birds that you are free to come and go as much as you would like. These birds are her babies. Marco polo is adorable and will sit on your shoulder and sing with you. The birds are entertaining. Lynda introduced us to some very nice friends of hers. Hawaii is not as expensive as I thought it would be. Aloha and enjoy

Susanne and John welcomed me the evening before their trip and we enjoyed a lovely meal, chatting and getting to know one another. They were so friendly and made me feel right at home! Ruby is a very sweet and happy dog, she stuck by my side most of the time and loves to be made a fuss of. Ollie and Milo are very affectionate, mischievous and love to play when they are not cuddled up snoozing and just generally being adorable. Leo pottered around outside doing his own thing most of the time, and would let me know when he wanted attention.

The house is a tranquil retreat, perfect if you are craving some peace and quiet and want to immerse yourself in the sounds of nature. Milton Keynes is only a short drive though if you need any kind of shopping which was really handy!

Thanks for having me! X

It was such a pleasure taking care of "The Pointer Sisters", they are such wonderful and easygoing dogs.

They are easy to walk, both on and off leash, and the neighboring trails are great to let them run free. Georgia is mellow and just loves coming along at her own speed while Myrtle, in typical GSP fashion, races at 120% but always comes back to check in. If you're not up for a walk throwing a ball in the adjacent field can keep them active for hours!

Back at the house snuggles are abundant and the girls are just happy to chill wherever you're hanging out. (*note to the GSP uninitiated, this is once they've had plenty of exercise!)

Evie and Brian's home is beautiful, so warm and comfortable with all the amenities you would need. It is located close to plenty of hiking trails and quick access to both Asheville and Black Mountain.

I would highly recommend this sit, especially for outdoor lovers!

Our stay at Hook House Farm couldn’t have been better! Amanda and Steve were very welcoming, gave us clear instructions regarding the care of Monty and Otto and their home. Our house sit was very enjoyable ; Monty and Otto were a pleasure to look after, affectionate and well trained. We would thoroughly recommend this house sit.
