Housesitting for Geoff and the kitties was super fun and very chill. Geoff left me clear instructions, a clean and tidy home, and two lovely cats! Francesca is small adorable and shy, and Cooper is boisterous and cuddly. Loved getting to know them! Bed Stuy is a lovely neighborhood, especially for those who enjoy scenic walks filled with beautiful brownstones. Thanks Geoff!

This was an amazing housesit! Claire & John made us feel welcome in their unique place they’ve found and made their own during the years. The house is an old charming chateau but very comfortable and with modern amenities. You’re surrounded by trees and will find many places to just sit and enjoy. We’ve spend most time enjoying the sounds of the birds and the amazing views on the Pyrenees with a coffee (they have a very good Italian espresso machine : ).
The animals are the best; they gave us a lovely routine every morning and evening, walking through the garden (which has soms special trees like the Jacaranda). Poe and Clancy, the two friendly outdoor cats might follow you when walking through the garden. The animals also brought many smiles and the chickens gave us fresh eggs every day. : ) Laszlo the bird is a cute one, who’s very happy when she can walk on your shoulders. She is easy to read and handle. The Omar we’ve meet when Claire & John arrived home and we immediately liked him: he’s a calm, cool dog.
The neighbourhood is quiet and has some nice walks, again with great views. You do need a car to get to the supermarket or boulangerie. Not a problem at all, those shopping rides were nice rides, especially if you leave the main roads.
We would love to come back again, thanks a lot, Claire, John & your furry/feather friends!

What a treat to get this sit! Jaycee and Sandi are a great duo. They like each other and interacted with us well. They were very happy to do whatever we were doing. The neighborhood is serene and the lower level we stayed in was clean and comfy with a well equipped kitchen. If you’re up for beautiful sunrise/sets, hearing the birds, and 2 lovable dogs… I definitely recommend this sit.
Christine and Hugh are excellent communicators and were available before and during the sit for questions.

This was a rich, full-on experience - very different (and much more challenging) than my usual 1 dog + 1 cat-type house sits, but all the more rewarding for taking me out of my comfort zone.

Lindsey and Howard were lovely - relaxed and hospitable. The animals adapted to my company easily. Special dear ones were Achilles (jack russel) and Ringo (donkey). A very comfortable house, huge grounds and spring flowers completed my happiness. I'd simply alert potential sitters that you'd need to be physically fit as there's a lot of walking involved, and a tetanus inoculation might be advisable.

The sit was busy with animal care, but that was the reason why I chose it. I'm grateful to my hosts for their enormous trust in me.
