Rachel sat for our two dogs and two kittens for our first post Covid vaccine trip! We had planned to be away for 6 days, and advertised the sit as such, but then after Rachel had accepted, we realized we could take a few extra days if she was able to stay longer. And being the flexible person she is, Rachel agreed to the change of plans. She was attentive to the pets (we could tell how much they liked her right off the bat), send texts and pictures almost daily to update us on feeding, walks, etc. She took the dogs to their favorite walking trails in her car several times, which was most kind. I was extremely impressed with the consideration and care she gave both us and our home. In a phone call the day before we were due home she asked if she could go into our “wing” of the house to check for any surprises that the kittens might have left and she mentioned some scratches that she’d noticed on a door frame and worried they might have been caused during her stay. I reassured her they were the work of other cats who are no longer with us, and was impressed with her thoroughness and concern for our home. She was communicative, neat, left the house as clean as she found it, and took excellent care of all our pets. I recommend her without reservation. Thank you Rachel for your TLC to both pets and home! We will welcome you back any time.

John Muir

What can I saw about sitting for Sylvia and her fur babies; simply from arrival to departure it was a joy. We arrived early evening and Sylvia was a most gracious hostess and provided us with some delicious homemade food. We didn’t realise a chef came with the sit lol. We were introduced to the gentle handsome Spillo and his two feline companions Polpetta and Sibillone. Over the next couple of days we realised that Polpetta was the boss of everyone (humans included). I still find it amazing getting to know each animal and their little likes and idiosyncrasies. Sylvia gave us lots of information about everyone’s likes and dislikes and then we went for the nightly walk. The village is a beautiful old medieval village with easy access. Spillo walks well on a long leash (we had no problems) and there are routes around so you can vary your daily constitutional. Polpetta and Sibillone are indoor cats but do like to sit out on the beautiful terrace. The apartment is lovely with very pleasant and relaxed ambience. The bed was very comfortable and with plenty of room for fury companions too. If you are lucky enough to be offered a sit, I would take it. Thank you Sylvia for the opportunity to share in the life, if only for a couple of days, of your beloved babies.

Sharon’s house was very clean and comfortable in a great location. The dogs were well trained and instructions left were clear. Pip and Rocket were easy to care for and we really enjoyed our time in the area. I would highly recommend and happily Housesit at Sharon’s again.

We had such a great time in Bushey with Millie! She is such a darling cat. She loves being stroked when she eats which I found to be very cute. She has such a princess personality and she does warm up to you in a while. She would hang out with me late in the afternoons and evenings and she would sleep by us in the night times. Their home is so gorgeous. We spent a lot of time cooking and hanging out in the garden by the kitchen. There is a bus stop and a convenience store right around the corner. We walked to the cinemas during our stay here. We loved exploring the neighbourhood. Overall it was such a fun time here with Millie. We do miss her :)

Taking care of Izzy was a great experience. She's such a lovely cat, and easy to take care of.
Susan makes anyone feel so welcomed. Her house is cozy and her garden is an amazing place to relax.
The neighborhood is super safe and lovely to walk around. Great groceries store nearby and restaurants.
A couple of the best beaches are just a few minutes away driving. Her neighbors are very friendly and they look for each other so you can never feel alone there. This is a great place to relax and have a great vacation enjoying the eternal sunshine! We're so grateful for the experience. Thank you!

I really liked my time at Søs place, her husband came to pick me up from the city centre and we drove back to the house, which is located in a forest 10 mins walk from the beach and if you walk apposite the forest you would be surrounded by farms. It’s a quiet a relaxing place. The welcome to the house was warm and the little gang (the dogs and the cats) were very friendly only one cat was shy and scared of me. The instruction were details and clear and taking care of everyone was pretty easy and the chickens are chilled you just need to give them food and pick up the eggs

Great sitting! The house is very cosy and clean, in a very nice area of London, surrounded by parks and not far from a shopping centre. Gary, Helene and Eloise have been welcoming and provided me with detailed information. Flynn is just the most spontaneous dog I have never met: life is beautiful when you are Flynn and you have a ball to chew! I would highly recommend this sitting to a person who is quite active and can give Flynn the time and attention he deserves; in exchange, you will get a lot of licks and cuddles!
