It was such a pleasure to look after lovely India. Such a chilled and relaxing dog. Helen and Nigel were the perfect hosts to welcome us. We enjoyed some chats over dinner and got to know India and the details of the house and our new surroundings before they departed the next morning. Samois is a beautiful environment and we enjoyed many local walks (guided by India at times!) in the forests and down by the riverside. Helen and Nigel was extremely helpful in many ways and great communicators throughout our sit. Very happy to look after India again if the opportunity arises!
Rhys and I had a wonderful sit at Trevor and Imbi's beautiful house looking after Luna and Lola. Taking Luna for walks each day checking out the parks and private gardens was great fun. She is a gentle yet engaging dog, who loved playing tug of war with us - we will miss her. 17 year old Lola was the Queen of the house, who accepted us graciously, quickly claiming my knee as part of her daily sitting and sleeping spots. She has a great purr and was easy to care for. We were treated like family, making for a very relaxed and pleasurable stay. We loved the street library a couple of doors up and was able to read and return 3 books. Thank you Trevor and Imbi, Luna and Lola :)
I enjoyed this sit. Cho the Burmese cat is a chatty character. Great house & garden. Carolyne kindly left some meals for me. I recommend this sit.
What a wonderful time we had taking care of Gribble, Timothy, and Rafiki in Ruth and Richard’s beautiful home! After picking us up at the train station (a very short walk, but much appreciated with luggage), they welcomed us with a delicious dinner and made every effort to ensure we were well equipped to take care of their pets and home with a very thorough welcome guide and detailed list of where to find and work things in their home. Additionally, knowing that we had our young son with us, they brought out amazing toys and books for him to enjoy during our stay, which he absolutely did! Richard took us on a long walk with Gribble to show us where she likes to go and how she interacts on/off lead, and Ruth had maps printed out of several other walks in the area she takes Gribble on - lots of lovely options very close by that we enjoyed exploring with her. She took a day to warm up to us, but was soon looking for belly rubs and biscuits to show us we'd earned her trust. Timothy and Rafiki are both sweet and lovable cats, very independent and easy to care for and enjoyable evening company. The house is well situated to groceries, restaurants, and the train station, which also allowed us easy access to travel into London for sightseeing. Overall, a very enjoyable stay for highly recommended homeowners and pets! Thank you, Ruth and Richard, for trusting us with your pets and home!
We found that looking after Dotty and Nelly was a pleasure! They are such affectionate and easy cats. Being up in the lovely Surrey countryside makes for a refreshing change and Belinda makes it easy to just step in to her home and relax. Would really recommend this house sit especially if you enjoy cats and love walking and fresh air!
