Susan
Susan and her husband were very welcoming and left clear instructions for minding their pets. The three dogs were happy with new people and enjoyed sitting up on the sofa with me in the evening. There was a lovely river walk nearby and plenty of interesting places to visit within a 40 min drive.

Ned & Amanda
It wasn't just the good communication and kind welcome from Ned and Amanda as well as their two very loving and cute pets that made this a wonderful sit for me. Their house was so warm and comfortable that I put the kettle on as soon as I arrived and felt completely at home. I'm looking forward to going back again soon.

It was such a pleasure to look after Archie and Diane & Sherie’s nice flat in Brighton on the seafront. They are lovely people and let us feel at home straight away.

Sprocket, Custard and I enjoyed many long walks and games of (almost) fetch with the tennis balls at the local beach after work - Andy was kind enough to provide a map detailing all the local walks but I'm guilty of falling in love with the very first beach we went to and exploring that one each evening, as different coves opened up for the dogs to play as the tide went out and there was a lovely section of the coastal path just above. Sprocket and Custard have bundles of energy and are a joy to take out. I was working remotely during my pet sit here and despite all their energy they were happy to sunbathe on the couch waiting patiently until our after work walk - they really were super dogs to look after, full of personality, happy to stay out and explore for hours, and chilled between walks.

The area itself is lovely, as is their home & communication with Andy and Jo was super easy throughout. Thank you for having me!

Here's a full reveal on our sit in Lincoln, both great things and things to be aware of. First, my 6 year old daughter said "we should give these dogs EIGHT stars" because our kids loved these two so much!

Conan and Salma are adorable and so easy to get along with. Be aware, they're older and literally need help getting up stairs, so know you'll be picking up and carrying cute geriatric dachshunds here (there are 4-5 steps off the back deck that you'll regularly be doing for potty breaks). They'll want on a couch or bed with you every time you get on one, but you need to help avoid them jumping down themselves so they don't hurt themselves. But they're cute, sweet, used to all this, and fortunately light :-) We were hit and miss getting them to want to walk far in the neighborhood, maybe because we had some rainy and snowy days while there. They took supplements and medications with their meals, but we had no problem getting them to eat them, just follow Danielle's helpful instructions and it should go fine. Despite taking frequent potty breaks, the dogs did have several "accidents" indoors on different rugs despite having a pee pad available. We really wanted to help that not happen during our sit, but when it did, clean up was not bad and Danielle was very understanding. These two dogs all around were just so sweet to scratch, cuddle, and watch waddle around wherever we went in the house. Salma has this cute way of looking at you, cocking her head, and saying "Aren't you going to give me a treat?" All of our children absolutely loved them.

Danielle's home was fairly close to downtown Lincoln. I loved walking the neighborhood where every house has a front porch and every house is different from the others around it. Danielle gets 5 stars for being easy to contact (despite being on the other side of the world), helpful when needed (like ordering more of the dogfood her dogs like), and leaving great instructions. She welcomed our family into her home and was very easy to get along with, a true veteran user of HouseSitters.

I was very happy to get this last minute dog sit.
Dave left detailed instructions and it was easy to communicate with him.
Lovely Tasha  - so sweet, easy to love and to care for. I've never met such a well trained dog! We spent much time in the backyard catching her ball. Her behavior in the dog park was excellent. I also took her to Blue spring park,  worth driving there. And she loved playing and swimming at Smyrna beach (gorgeous place) and I think she also enjoyed the shower afterwards.
Deland historic downtown has nice shops and many restaurants.

I would take care of her again anytime!!
