Awww! What I could say about Joannes pets?! I just fellow in love with them!! With Cookie belly dance, he is so aficcionate dog, he asks for snuggle all the time. Pommy is so cute chasing mosquitos hehehe... and he is a good company for naps. All the process with Snoopy, the bunny, was so unique I had myself a bunny before, but by far was like Snoopy - after one week sit their house, he literally was more gentle, mellow with us . I catched Lee making massage on Snoppy a bunch of times lol... I could write a book of them, they stole our hearts. Joanne was a text away all the time, conversation was easy! She is a pretty straightfoward person, thats nice! Her house is super organized and equipeted with all things that you can imagine, the Kitchen is perfect! Amenites that I didnt known that exist. She was super open and a big heart person, like, "Help yourself with the food, etc" - We tried to refil everthing that we ate hehehe... With a car their house is 20min to Encinitas/Carlsbad beaches, It can be hard if you dont have a car, but it has bus stop by their condo and doordash and uber is easy there. For sure I can say: Go foarwd, get this sit! Just dont steal the babies for yourself! hehehe
Thank you to Vanessa and to Steve who so warmly welcomed my partner and I the day before our sit with such kindness and hospitality and left us well informed, confident and excited to take care of their home and property and their so beautiful Chiahuauas Pico and Bella. The highlight of our stay was our relationship with Pico and Bella. They made their way instantly into our hearts with their individual , beautiful natures, funny antics and such sweet and easy engagement with us. This assignment was such a delight in all ways. The setting was idyllic. Natural forest and beautifully landscaped areas, a herb and vegetable garden to potter in, magnificent bird and animal life, a Lily pond and pool, yoga studio, magnificent beaches and interesting local towns with friendly people. I very much enjoyed staying at Angela's house and taking care of Coco. The house is very comfortable and in a lovely neighborhood close to both the historic downtown and the beaches. Coco is so easy to take care of, she is obedient and loving. Thank you Angela for being so hospitable and easy to converse with.
We had the most amazing time sitting for Sergeant Tibbs the kitty and Sandie and Ron's home in San Diego. The home is in a great location near the top of the canyon and we enjoyed opening the doors in the morning to let the breeze in during Tibbs's outdoor naptime. It is hard to put into words how special Tibbs is - He is so friendly and an amazing cuddler, and we loved having our frequent conversations throughout the day. It was hard to say goodbye! We unfortunately were not able to meet Sandie and Ron prior to arriving, but communication was great throughout the stay. This was a gem of a housesit, and we would not hesitate to come back!
I absolutely loved the time I got to spend with Elroy and Atlas! Atlas is the goofy, energetic one; Elroy is dignified and calm. Both are super sweet and lovable. Alex and Jill are terrific, easygoing, and they made me feel so welcome. Their home is beautiful, clean, and bright. The kitchen is fabulous, the tv and streaming services provide nearly-unlimited choices, and the guest room is large with a super comfy bed. Their neighborhood is quiet but they’re a quick drive to Portland’s Old Port, supermarkets, and the Maine Mall. I would be delighted to sit for them again!
