We had an amazing time with this sit! Jen and Dai were gracious hosts and Keith was a pleasure to take care of (Max was away with family). Both Bournemouth and Westbourne are lovely places to visit, especially during the holidays, with plenty of places to eat and shop, as well as nature to enjoy.
We absolutely adored our sit with Winty & Jules, we only wish it was longer! We fell in love immediately, and miss them already. Kevin was very communicative throughout the whole process and was easy to talk to. He was kind and considerate and genuinely interested in us and our travel adventure, too. The pups are simply the best, they are so affectionate and loving and each have their own personality quirks! They were a joy to be around, easy to take care of and exactly as Kevin had described to us. Kevin's home is quite literally the house of our dreams haha! It is so beautiful and in such a quiet, peaceful location. The house is 15 mins (by car) to Downtown Portland, so easy enough to explore the city for a few hours before heading back to the babies. We loved our short stay with Winty & Jules and would be back in a heartbeat if the opportunity arises. We can totally recommend this sit! :)
This was definitely one of our favorite house sits ! Rosie and Benny were most relaxed and easy going during the days. These two pets are wonderful even though they are not very fond of each other. The communication with Rachel and Todd was very easy and transparent as well. The house was great - comfy, cosy & clean. Thanks again for having us and trusting us with your treasures. Staying at Rebecca’s with Dahlia was a restorative retreat! Rebecca was so hospitable and quick to answer any questions I had. Her home is very comfortable and charming and the neighborhood is so lovely, with walkable shops, restaurants, and a nature preserve. Dahlia is a precious sweetheart, and very easy going. I had such a nice time walking with her in the nature preserve and cuddling at home. I’d love to sit for them again any time!
I had a very nice week in Bicester looking after Fred & Ginger, they were both playful but well behaved cats. Joanne and Geoffrey kindly let me visit prior to their holiday to show me where everything was etc and provided a comfortable bedroom to stay in upstairs. Would definitely recommend.
