Nancy and Alan were great to spend time with. Their dogs were great to spend time with. Their horses were great to spend time with. It was just great to be in that beautiful place between mountain ranges and desert.
It was stunningly beautiful.   I didn't know how much I would feel at home in the desert until I did this housesit.
The house is well-appointed and very comfortable. It is well-organized and straight-forward to take care of.
Nancy and Alan gave me time in the beginning before they had to go to give me instruction and let me get used to the routine of the place. They were warm, welcoming and helpful. Very enjoyable to have a good conversation with too. We also had a little time at the end to debrief and stayed in touch throughout for updates if needed.
I felt like I had time to really enjoy each of the animals and learn a little about their personalities.
Mica is a big friendly German Shepard. He required eye drops twice a day, really did not like them but was patient about getting them. He is really companionable just like Finn, a great buddy who just loves to be close to you. Leah was standoffish but learned to trust me. She is a dear heart with the sweetest face. Kara is the frenetic youngest who could run and run all day. She also loved to settle and get a good petting. Sophie is right there in the morning when you look up out the kitchen window, staring back at you from the pasture with this look of disdain because you haven't gotten her her food yet. Kadeen was putting up with a healing leg so he would often sigh as we walked to exercise it with the occasional snort for emphasis.
Spending time with the animals and getting to know their very individual personalities was the best part of the sit.

Nicole
I enjoyed this house sit! They have a lovely and relaxing home on the water in a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The pups are very well-behaved, play well with each other, and were great to both play and cuddle with. Everything was very clear in the Welcome Guide and walk-through. There were even additional reminders about feeding routines written on the dog food bin, which was helpful. Communication with Nicole was great. I even had a question while they were away, and she answered right away. I felt bad interrupting their vacation, but she was very nice about it. Would definitely sit for them anytime!

Simon & Mary are a lovely friendly couple who did what they could to make my stay comfortable.
Great area to visit.
Finn was an old gentleman and was no trouble at all, I enjoyed our leisurely walks together and chatting to his doggie friends owners.
