Housesitting for Marlene and her family was an awesome experience! They had clear communication leading up to the sit, and had a very thorough house welcome guide that was helpful. They were exceptionally welcoming and even made dinner for me the first night. It was so great to get to know them. Peppino and Siena are sweet, talkative cats that are easy to care for. Pepi would sit with me at night and loved belly rubs! The view and walking areas from Marlene's house are truly amazing. You can hear the cow bells in nearby fields with the door open! The location is great - there is a grocery store and train station within easy walking distance. The WIFI is very fast - I video chat for work and had absolutely no issues, so I would recommend this for digital nomads as well. The apartment is exceptionally clean and organized. Stans is a great base to see Lucerne, Mt. Riggi, Engelberg - and there is even a lift to a mountain right in Stans. Marlene gave me some great suggestions for nearby excursions I could enjoy after work.

Thanks for this opportunity, Marlene & Petra! I had such a great time petsitting for you! I would highly recommend this sit.

Abigail
We really enjoyed our sit with Toaster and Strudel, and would highly recommend it. First of all, both of them have fantastic personalities, and are great to be around. Toaster is more mellow (often found hiding under the bed downstairs), but is such a sweetheart. Strudel is a bit more active, but also becomes a quick friend when not exploring the yard or laying on the back porch - the key to his heart is lots of belly rubs :). He may be the most athletic dog we've ever met, jumping 3-4 feet in the air with ease, so make sure to hide your food well. Secondly, Abigail's home is incredible - comfortable, beautiful, and well located - we really felt at home here. Lastly, Abigail's family was incredibly welcoming, and we really enjoyed getting to know them both before and after the sit. Thank you again for everything!

Cynthia
Cynthia is a wonderful person & host. Jack and Bruja are very well trained inside the apartment. Their presence is comforting. Although small-ish, the apartment is well laid out with everything you need to cook at home. The area is full of restaurants and night life if cooking isn’t your gig. The dog park/s are conveniently close for Jack & Bruja to get exercise and social relations with other dogs. We went to the park for pre-bedtime bathroom requirements late at night and never felt like the area was dangerous. Daytime walking is easy and several local food vendors are easily accessible. Communication with Cynthia via WhatsApp was always quick & responsive. We appreciate you Cynthia :) Everything you did helped us feel at home; pre-stay, during stay & post-stay. We’d love to be with Jack & Bruja again.
