Such a beautiful place to relax. Scout and Frenchie were so much fun to spend time with and I got such a laugh following sweet pea around the house. Elizabeth was incredible easy to reach and very communicative when needed. Plus I was able to have a barbie night with some friends who got to enjoy the pups company as well. Would absolutely housesit again!
Stella is the kindest and most intelligent dog you will ever meet. She has been a wonderful companion these past 15 days, and we will miss her dearly. The only downside was saying goodbye 🥲. Ann is an exceptional person; she was incredibly attentive to us 🤍, and supported us throughout the entire trip. We are thrilled and grateful to have shared this experience with them ♥️. They are simply the best 🫶🏻.
Mike and I thoroughly enjoyed this house sit! Communication with Katie was excellent. She made us feel very welcome providing us with all we could need including the company of an adorable, cuddly, easy going dog named Maddie! We took advantage of the many amenities in Katie's neighborhood such as some great restaurants, bars, and lovely walks through historical Bloomingdale. Getting to and from D.C. , on their great public transportation system, was quite easy for us. We highly recommend this sit and would return if given the chance.
This was a last minute local sit that I picked up due to house renovations. Suzanne was very easy to communicate with. We met in advance but it would have been easy without having met first, as it's a very easy sit and August has a dog door so she could come and go as she likes. The house is very comfortable and clean with everything needed to cook,
What a very beautiful part of the UK! We loved our time sitting for Jane and Rich, looking after their two boys, Welly the Staffie and Ace the Greyhound. Their home was very comfortable to live in, with a great dedicated workspace, a well-equipped kitchen and a very comfy bed. The setting is amazing, your very own dog walking field that was filled with wildflowers during our stay, and the steam train runs alongside it a few times a day, you feel like you are in an episode of The Railway Children. A magnificent golf course runs behind the house and beyond that views of the sea. There are fantastic walks along the coast - you could plan to do parts of the Norfolk coastal path and take Ace along with you. He is a good walker on lead and loves to talk to all the humans he meets along the way, he will speak to dogs too, but is fairly indifferent to them :) Welly just requires a couple of walks in the field, and both enjoy lots of love and attention. They are both such characters, and we loved sitting them so much. Jane and Rich made the handover so easy, Jane is very organised and has great notes for guidance. We stayed the night before in the annex and they were kind enough to invite us to dinner. There are many charming towns on your doorstep, but we found ourselves sitting in the field most evenings with the dogs enjoying a sundowner.
Bess and Davey are excellent hosts. They are very kind and welcoming and gave me tons of recommendations for spots to visit during my stay. And last but certainly not least, Max and Maggie are a delight. Max was a tad standoffish at first but she warmed to me quickly. Maggie is super affectionate and delightful little goofball. Highly recommended!
