Our first time housesitting in a condominium and it was terrific! Margaret generously made herself available to meet us the night before our stay. First, we met Lulu, her 10 year old French Bulldog. What a sweet personality! She showed us Lulu’s routine, easy medicine schedule, meals and of course, her special treats. Then she gave us a tour of her beautiful, sparkling clean home with incredible city views. We were introduced to the building concierge and shown how the secured parking garage and elevator worked. We appreciated her letting us know that we could call her for anything we needed and not to hesitate. She also mentioned that the concierge would be a good resource, and they were great! Margaret recommended neighborhood restaurants and gave us directions to public transportation. Her condo is located in the Pearl District, which offered variety and convenience with grocery stores and restaurants just blocks away. The light rail and streetcar were close by with easy access to downtown, etc., so we used our car very little. Have to say again, we both fell in love with Lulu. Since Kirstin has been around Boxers most of her life, we were impressed with how quiet she was…not a snore to be heard. Probably four days into our stay, we saw Lulu suddenly jump off the couch and focus her eyes on the TV. A commercial was on with a large excited dog and Lulu immediately started barking. We laughed and were surprised to hear her talk! Lulu walked us around her neighborhood three times a day. After doing her “duty” she took us to meet her friends with treats. She’s a special one! It would be a pleasure to care for Margaret’s lovely home and sweet Lulu again, anytime!
Housesitting for Vicky and Andy was so much fun! Perky became quite cuddly once he ascertained I was the keeper of the Dreamies. He's a very easy, sweet boy. Their home is in the best area for exploring Edinburgh -- just 2 blocks from Princes Street with a fantastic view of the Castle. Restaurants are literally downstairs, creating a fun "buzz." Although I loved hearing the voices of the outdoor diners floating up, the double-glazed windows make the home remarkably quiet. The guest bed was sooo comfy -- I felt like I was sleeping in a luxury hotel. Communication was quick and clear. Lots of buses nearby and Waverly Station is an easy walk. Everything about this housesit was perfect and I hope to return! Thanks, Vicky and Andy!

Absolutely fantastic place to leave pets. We have used them twice now when going abroad and cannot fault them. They give the dogs good socialisation with others and upload photos daily! They also accommodate raw feeding which is fab.
Highly recommend Haleswood Pet Hotel for daycare and boarding. The service is exceptional; Heather, Holly, and Niamh go above and beyond and treat all pets like their own. Haleswood is literally family. Pablo has been attending daycare once a week and boards when we go on holiday. Recently, Pablo has been diagnosed with IVDD and is recovering at home, but we keep in contact and have started to slowly introduce Pablo back into familiar surroundings and seeing other dogs. We wouldn't trust anyone or anywhere else with Pablo - you really are in the best hands here.
Great place, they took care of our cat for over two weeks. We were a bit stressed at the begging cause we have never before left our cat in place like that, but after we dropped our cat in hotel we knew straight away that there is nothing to be worried about. They uploaded photos on fb page every day so we knew that our cat is fine, some of this photos were really nice thou :) big thank you for all team, you made our holiday easier! For sure will come back to you any time we need a spot for our cat to stay :)
My dogs first time in kennels and I'm sure she didn't want to come home! She was very well looked after. We paid for her to be groomed while she was there and they did a very good job on her. She was absolutely bushed when she got home (see photo)! She will definitely be back ♥️
This place is fantastic they really care about your pet. My dog did a day care prior to a holiday. They spent time trying to settle her and had a long chat with me abput steps we can take to help her be ready as she was nervouse with a large (6) group of dogs. The staff are polite and knowlegable and only have the welfair of the dog in mind they even post pictures daily of your dog having fun on facebook. We will be using them again before the holiday. Very recomended especially if your dog has never tried a kennels before.
Can’t thank Haleswood enough. They accommodated my cat at very short notice for 3 weeks. Daily pictures and very professional service. My cat came back very happy and relaxed. Would definitely recommend and will 100% only be boarding my cat here in future.
My 2 dogs absolutely love staying here. It is so good knowing that they are well cared for, exercised well and safely looked after. We first used Haleswood in 2021 and have used them twice since. This is a lovely family run boarding hotel and it is professional, fairly priced and to be honest I'd be gutted if we ever tried to book and they didn't have space, Sabine and Captain Rex wouldn't want to stay anywhere else! We use the doggy day care services frequently. I like that they share photos of the pet visitors on social media for owners to see at the end of each day. Our dog gets excited as soon as we turn into the lane. He always comes home sleepy and happy (and smelling lovely!) Website is easy to use.
Awful experience. I can only assume all these five star reviews are bought and paid for bots. The two women who run this crank of a business are the rudest people you will meet. Avoid like the plague.
We cannot recommend Viv & Hayley (We Love Pets) highly enough after recently using these guys to look after our three dogs and house sit whilst we were away on holiday for one week. Prior to us going away Viv & Hayley visited a couple of times to go through details and to meet the dogs. We we highly impressed of their professionalism and level of detail they went into with us - most importantly for us, we felt very comfortable after meeting them and was able to establish a lot of trust, this was so important for us as this was the first time of us using a dog & house sit service - and of course it was important that our dogs were really happy around them, and they instantly were 😊 Whilst we were away we received daily updates and pictures whilst out on their walks and playing etc. Everything looked lovely at home on our return, which was was fabulous to see and our dogs looked very happy, very well looked after & well fed 🐶🐶🐶 Viv & Hayley also made sure that our garden hanging baskets had been watered daily, dustbins sorted, and left us fresh milk in the fridge for our return, which was fab as we came home very late at night. We will definitely be using Viv & Hayley again. Overall we were extremely happy with the service they have provided, which was a first class service. Viv and her team have made such a positive difference to us all! We know from how our pets are that they will be happy to see them when we can't be there ourselves. Our Yorkie loves his walks and all the fuss he gets. Our cat was naturally cautious at first but now poses for photos as if she approves of her nice clean litter tray and her favourite food. Viv and team have been so kind and reliable. Happy pets, happy family!
We have had an amazing experience with the walks by Viv and reg for our dog Bluebell. Viv always makes the effort to accomodate any extra walks at short notice. Our dog is quite nervous of strangers and other dogs so we are able to have 1:1 walks. We know Bluebell is in safe and experienced hands and both Viv and reg are very kind and trustworthy. We couldn't recommend them highly enough.
Great, friendly and helpful service. My dog had an initial assessment meeting and has always been introduced to new walkers. My neighbours reports the walkers are great with my dog, and that she always has a curled up waggy tail. It is easy to communicate with Viv. A range of other services, such as home boarding, is available.
I would give 5 stars to the hosts who looked after our dogs as they were excellent and treated them like their own. But the communication with We Love Pets was poor. Having been told which host we were going to be placed with we were not told that he had quit so she was looking for another host. We were only told because I wanted to book a couple of trial days with him, but if I hadn't we would have been kept in the dark. My step daughter had her dog booked with the same host and was never told that he wouldn't be available. She only knew because we told her, and she waited weeks to hear about it, and contacted We Love Pets in the end. Any text messages we got were short. I got a text the day before we were due to take the dogs to the hosts asking for the balance and asking if I was still hoping to drop the dogs off. A bit late in the day to ask that. Our dogs are family to us and it was the first time we were leaving our rescue dog, so we were really nervous. The lack of information wasn't reassuring.
Needed to set up some regular walks at shortish notice. Viv and the team sorted it out super quickly and really professionally. Would 100 recommend and will be using again in the future as needed. Many thanks.

Just been away for 5 days and Viv looked after our house cat. She came twice a day and kept us updated and even sent a couple of photos! Very happy with the service had a worry free break, knowing that our cat was happy in her own environment, and had the added comfort of the house being checked twice a day. Ann is absolutely fantastic. It's clear to see she loves dogs (even the nutty ones like ours). Our dogs go crazy when we pull up on to Ann's drive which is testament to how much they love it with her. I wouldn't trust anyone else to care for them now. They are treated like Queens and have no trouble seeing the back of us when we drop them off for a stay. We see regular pictures of them during their stay and we're completely at ease knowing how happy they are. Thank you so much Ann 🐶
Where do I start?.. our boy Hugo is our fur baby! 🐶 So when we started the search to find someone to look after him it became a daunting task!! That was until I stumbled across Ann of Telford Home from Home Boarding. From my first message, I just had a gut feeling that this was the perfect place! It’s not very often you’ll find someone who will look after your beloved pooch as good as you do yourself but how wrong was I?.. Ann welcomed Hugo into her home and bonded instantly with him. Going above and beyond to look after our boy! He’s one fussy eater and he’s spoilt (which is our own doing) but Ann treats him like a prince! 👑 Cooking him chicken and even feeding it to him by hand to give us peace of mind that he’s eating. Daily walks and an abundance of love and cuddles 🤍 Most days we’d receive pupdates 📸 with pictures and videos without even having to ask which is so reassuring and priceless when you’re far away! This allowed us to switch off a little and relax which after all that is what holidays are all about! Ann is a genuine, lovely lady who deserves all the credit she gets. We certainly won’t use anyone else to home board our fur baby now. He absolutely loves his time with Ann and his other furry friends he meets throughout his stay🐾 He returns back home happy with his tail wagging 🐶 After-all he’s had the best holiday himself!..and that to us means the world 🌍
After having a bad experience with a traditional kennel Ann is now the only person we will trust with Rosie. Fully certified and insured we know we can leave Rosie with Ann and she will be safe and well looked after. If anything, a bit too well looked after - she never seems to want to come home!! It's great knowing that while we enjoy our holiday, Rosie is enjoying hers.
We don't go away without Benson very often but when we do, Ann is the only person we'll leave him with. He's an older boy who likes his home comforts and cuddles and gets completely spoiled during his visits. We never have to worry about him while we're away as we know Ann understands what he needs and always goes the extra mile to ensure he's contented and safe. We're very grateful to have found someone so caring to look after him.
Ann has looked after our Otis a couple of times now and he loves it there. Anyone looking for a dedicated, friendly and loving dog carer then we can highly recommend Ann.
We won’t let anyone else care for our dog when we go away. Gemma is happy and well cared for during her stay. It has been five years since we first met Ann. She is a lovely honest lady and makes sure everything is in order etc
I fully recommend Telford Home from Home Dog Boarding. Feel rest assured your dog is in safe hands. Ann treats all the dogs as though they were her own. Make sure you book well in advance as this is a popular choice by many.
If Ann isn't available, we don't go away it's as simple as that. She cares passionately about all the dogs she looks after, to the extent that informing her that my old labrador had passed away was one of the hardest calls I ever had to make. She currently boards my old terrier (who could start a fight in an empty house,) and my Bosnian rescue (who's scared of her own shadow.) She gives them both the individual care they need.
We left our dog for 7 nights. It was his first time in the kennel for that long. He came back happy and was well looked after. I can fully recommend this place for other dog owners , very professional and caring. Thank you for looking after Nugget.
Friendly staff, great value and clean premises. They're so great with our cats, and they have really good updates of their stay when you pick them up so it shows they're well looked after!
*EDIT as reply to the business response* It’s a shame to see the attitude towards negative reviews as well. Trying to claim I haven’t used the kennels but only leave reviews for points? What would these points give me? I have left 25 reviews in 6 years, when I’ve had a particularly good or bad experience. If I was after some sort of point system I’m sure the number would be higher. It is definitely the Sunnymead kennels in Telford with a Su Carlin that had the initial contact. I would give my details but given the not so pleasant customer service I do not wish to as I’d rather not have any phone calls or similar from this business. As I stated, clearly a misunderstanding then regarding being able to view the kennels but would never trust a kennels who won’t show you where they keep the dogs. *END OF EDIT* Not the most pleasant experience, I found the different staff I spoke to both on phone and in person quite rude and not even attempting to be friendly. I had understood I would be able to have a quick look at the kennels when dropping my dog off but that was clearly a misunderstanding as I was told no when I came even though there were no other customers. Being desperate as I had to go away for work I still left my dog there. On the day of picking her up I called and asked if I could pick her up in the morning instead of afternoon as I would drive past there on my way home anyway and it would save me an extra hour of driving in the afternoon but was again told no in quite a rude manner with no real explanation. When I did go and pick her up I was slightly surprised to be handed a paper I needed to sign saying my dog was healthy when I picked her up which I’ve never had to do at any other kennels and they just expected me to sign that straight away after just giving me my dog. My point is, even if something was wrong with her I wouldn’t have known unless I did a full examination, unless she was missing a leg. Friendliness goes a long way and thankfully there are plenty other kennels in the area more deserving of the business.

Nothing but rude no body seems to no who my dog was a family run business your think everyone meets him along side being told I was able to pick him up anytime before 4.30 man on the door was rude again to me and my son when I explained we was misstold times then made to wait 1.15 to get my dog back I understand like anyone mistakes maybe made but still no need to be rude

It really is incredible, from start to finish with the gentle onboarding process to make sure everyone is happy to the actual enriched boarding with fabulous dog walks is just so so comforting as an owner. We love the fact that Jenn has a real sense of command and control with our dog and so we know she is in safe hands with training and discipline as well as being cared for and all of her needs are being met. Brilliant!

The staff are incredibly warm, knowledgeable, and attentive, making both me and my pet feel completely at ease. The facilities are spotless and well-maintained, with plenty of space for pets to play and relax. I especially appreciated the personalized care they offered—whether it’s dietary needs, special routines, or extra cuddles, they go above and beyond to make sure every pet is comfortable and happy. Jenn has taken great care of our dog. During his stays with Jenn, we’ve received regular updates on how he was doing as well as photos. His last visit with Jenn was for 12 days, so the regular contact helped my wife and I feel at ease while we were away from him. Our dog can be anxious sometimes but Jenn knows how to tailor her approach to suit each dogs personality and needs. I would highly recommend Paws and Moore!
Dealing with Jenn and Shaun at Paws and Moore has been amazing. They are both so professional in their approach and service, and also very accommodating. Shaun started visiting our two dogs recently. The best dog sitters you could ask for! I visited Shrewsbury for work in the lead up to Christmas and required dog care for around 10 days. Despite my working hours being a little erratic, Jenn accommodated us amazingly and was super flexible with pick up and drop offs. I received daily pup dates and was always informed of drop offs and pick ups which put me totally at ease. I was so thrilled by how friendly and personal the service was and loved how happy My pup was after his visits. I couldn’t recommend Paws and Moore any more highly, I just wish I could relocate them to London for the rest of the year!! Thank you so much for making everything so easy and enjoyable! Absolutely EXCELLENT!

My dog Millie is so precious to me I wouldn’t leave her with anyone but she is so happy and content to go and stay at Pooch Palace. It’s a first class day care premises and the over night care is excellent. I can’t recommend these beautiful kennels and surroundings enough. But mainly the staff are so caring and this shows when we pick our beautiful Millie up. Thanks to all the staff for looking after Millie as I’m so content leaving her with you.
Our two puppies go to day care each week. The induction day was really informative and the puppies and pawrents were made to feel most welcome. All the staff are fantastic, so friendly and caring towards the dogs. They have lots going on during a day care day and when we drop them off they get so excited and run up to day care area. We get regular updates via a private Facebook group during the day, which we look forward to. We also get feedback when we collect them of how they have been. Our two dogs are very different in their personalities and needs and the girls always take that into consideration. The setting and the facilities are luxury and the security is really good too. We would not go anywhere else. Thanks Pooch Palace.
I have many compliments about Pooch Palace but to sum it up, they are amazing! Anyone thinking of using them, please do. Highly recommended. Our 10 year old boy Walter had never been in any type of kennel before so we were so nervous on the build up to a 2 week holiday. The guys at the palace worked so well with us and Walter. They gave updates, matched him with dogs that were suited to him and made him comfortable. They even put him in a Disney style bedroom as we are big Disney fans! During our holiday, we had a 26 hour delay coming home, so you can imagine this is stressful. Hattie and the team were so supportive and accommodating and made sure we didn’t worry and Walter was in safe hands until we could get home. I can’t thank Pooch Palace or their staff enough for how they handled our situation and all the great service beforehand. Anyone thinking of using these guys; what you can expect is great, friendly service. Staff always smiling. Extremely clean and well maintained establishment. Updates on your dog(s), a very fair price for the interaction and attention the dogs get. And more - all in my personal opinion. All I can say is thank you to the team, fully recommended and can’t wait to use you guys again for my precious Walter to visit.
Chipolata goes for daycare every week and I wouldn’t trust him anywhere else they all know him and his little quirks and I know he gets the best care he trots off in a morning without a second glance. Love the VIP page where only users of the service can see the pups at play
Pooch Palace really is a gem of a place. Both our boys go on a regular basis and absolutely love going. The staff are friendly and got to know both our boys well so they can cater for their needs. We truly wouldn’t trust anyone else with our boys as they are so precious to us. The site is lovely and really well looked after, it’s clean, modern and well equipped with everything your pooch will need. Thank god we found such a wonderful place!
First class 5 star establishment. I would highly recommend Pooch Palace My two dogs recently boarded there. We recieved daily updates and photos of our precious girls. My daughter has also used the Palace and speaks very highly of the owners Zoe,Hattie not forgetting their fabulous staff team. If you want the very best this is by far the facility to take your precious doggy family. It offers boarding day care and grooming.
I travel over an hour 20 mins to bring my Suzi to be looked after for when I go on holiday. Pooch Palace is not only a beautiful, clean place (no usual kennel smell) in beautiful surroundings for my princess to stay, but the owners and staff are absolutely lovely. They truly care for you precious little ones as if they were their own. Regular photos are sent to reassure you, if like me you worry when you leave them. Pooch Palace is truly a Palace to leave your beloved pets, they deserve all of the 5*
Another excellent stay for our Rocky, he loves going and loves the all the fuss he gets. You really will not find a better establishment in Shropshire and would have to go a long way to find one as good. Everything about Pooch Palace is excellent. Thank you ladies Mark & Lyn
Last month Alfie had his first holiday at Pooch Palace. I don’t think he really wanted to come home! The team at PP were so friendly and professional from the get go so I knew he was in safe hands. We had daily updates so we knew and could see how much fun he was having! He’ll certainly be back again!
Fantastic! The day care facilities are second to none, our Barney loves going every week. We have used the bording side also and he loved it. In fact I was jealous! Heated floors and a 4 poster bed! The team here are great also, always really friendly and you can tell they love every pooch at the palace.
