My time at Carol's was perfect! Her house, which is hidden among the trees, is unique + clean + cozy + quiet. I loved every minute of my stay and didn't want to leave. Banksy is an angel and always brightened my day. I took daily walks along a trail a couple of blocks from the house and enjoyed visiting the local co-op, Good Earth Natural Foods. I highly recommend this sit to anyone wanting to experience Marin County in a beautiful + quaint home.
Staying with Mittens and Paco at Pam’s house was a wonderful experience. Pam is so accommodating and helpful. She welcomed us to arrive two days early, and to stay a night after she came home. She was always responsive when we texted her with questions about her home, pets, or the local area. Her home is comfortable, the neighborhood is great with lots of pets, families and hiking trails, and the town of Eagle, Colorado is idyllic, with lots of natural space and activities for children and families. Everywhere we drove or walked we could see majestic views of the mountains. Most importantly, Paco the rescue Chihuahua, and Mittens the polydactyl rescue cat (She has five toes on her front paws.) are so much fun, and so full of personality. Mittens is a talker, telling stories of her adventures when she comes in from outside, and Paco communicates through his eyes and his actions, letting us know when it’s time to eat or take a walk. We’d love to go back and stay with them again!
I had a wonderful time in Fort Collins thanks to Marilou and Kirbee. Marilou provide all that was needed (and more) for a comfortable stay. Taking care of Kirbee was so fun. She's popular in the neighborhood and loved saying hello to her friends. There are pleasant walking paths and a beautiful park nearby. Kirbee was also up for hikes and adventures. The house was spacious and comfortable. And the patio has a lovely view. I also enjoyed the location, friendly neighbors, and straightforward nature of this sit. I would happily do it again and recommend.
Loved this house sit! Benji is just the purest little soul, so easy to look after and loves a cuddle and a kiss. Daniel was great and left informative instructions. Apartment has such a cozy and calm atmosphere, also a great location!
We absolutely loved our stay at Siena and Martin’s beautiful and well-located home. Smudge is a gorgeous little cat, shy and cautious at first, but very playful and we had a lot of fun with her and her toys. Siena is so warm and friendly - I felt very welcome and at ease in her home and it’s obvious she adores little Smudge. ❤️ The place was comfortable and clean and I would be delighted to look after Smudge again - thanks so much for a wonderful sit, Siena & Martin!
It was a pleasure to housesit for Gudrun! Lucy is an amazing smart dog, very well-behaved. She knows a lot of tricks and it is very easy to teach her new ones. She is also a good runner if you like running. The walks around Gudrun's house are endless and beautiful. There are so many different routes so you will never get bored. Belinda, the cat, is very sweet but mostly she is outside exploring or inside sleeping. The fish is very beautiful and easy to take care of. Everything you need is just a short walk from the apartment. The connection to Oslo is very easy and direct to the city center. The apartment had everything we needed. Gudrun was very kind and shared all the information necessary. She prepared for us amazing breakfast various times (we asked for the recipe because we loved it) and let us stay few days before and after the sit. She also drove us to our next sit in Oslo. She was a wonderful host. We definitely recommend housesitting for her.
