Staff was amazing and facility was huge!! Champ is an 8 year old American staffy and he had the best time playing with the staff and other dogs. Webcams were great way to check in to see how he was doing! Staff were quick to pick up and clean up any messes! They gave the dogs great attention and care! I will be using them again in the future.

My chocolate lab puppy was making us absolutely insane!! She has so much energy and no matter what we did we could not keep up and she would not stop. I found Happy Dog and we are absolutely thrilled we did. She comes home so happy and tired. She gets so excited when the car pulls into the parking lot. The important thing is she is actually calm enough now we can train her. She is becoming such a good girl. We could never work with her before because she was bouncing off the walls.

My dogs Percy and Sadie have been coming to happy dog for a few months now.. and they absolutely love it! They both come home exhausted from a fun day at “school” with all of their friends! I love being able to watch them on the live camera running around and getting all their puppy energy out. The staff is impeccable and truly have the best interest in heart for every dog that comes through their door and it shows!

I just started bringing my dog, Bronx here - and what an incredible experience it’s been so far! Unlike other daycares, happy dog has complete open play with no kennels in site - other day cares do not care like these guys are! Truly the epitome of dog lovers here!!!

I was taking my boys, Jax and Diesel to another day care that was great, but just inconvenient for me due to the location. Happy Dog is literally right around the corner from my work, and I'm thrilled with being able to drop them off early in the morning. The boys have such a great time with their friends, and are always happy and tired when I pick them up. The staff is absolutely AMAZING...they remember every dogs name (even after the first "test" visit)... they are incredible. Highly recommend!

We take our dog here for boarding, bathing and weekly playtime. I trust Jim and his team with our furry family member. This is a full service facility that my dog can’t wait to get to. The staff is super friendly, and again, I trust them.

Our Enzo Ferrari just loves coming to Happy Dog Daycare. I feel he is at home and everyone is family taking care of him and I don’t worry when we are away. When we are able to watch him on the cameras I see he is having an awesome time with his friends and they are giving him all the love. Staff is amazing! Our 3 year old mastiff mix Lilly had to attend a few daycare days earlier this year and we had a wonderful experience. Early drop off times and cameras to watch during the day! When we left for our honeymoon we knew this was the only place we wanted to board our baby. We clearly made the right choice! Lilly came back all pooped out and every time I checked she was running around with all the other staff and dogs. Thank you Happy Dog and staff for being so amazing with our fur baby!!

This is by far the best place to take your dog for daycare and boarding! The owners Breana and Amanda are very personable and professional. Our dog is in very good hands when we are away and we don't have to worry at all. I highly recommend anyone who has a dog or a cat to use All American Pet Resort in Shelby Township for daycare, boarding, or grooming. I wish there was an option for more than 5 stars!

I went in to do a tour and find out more info as I’m on the lookout for a new daycare and boarding place. The girls at the front desk were incredibly rude when we walked in, didn’t seem to like the questions we were asking regarding safety, number of dogs in play groups, what their schedule is, etc. they knew my husband and I were coming in to do a tour at that time, it was all very off putting how they treated us. Then their answer to my question of how many dogs are in their play groups was an astounding 40 to 50 dogs!!!! My eyes practically bulged out of my face and I knew that was not the place for my dogs. That is completely insafe and I’m shocked there seem to be no regulations in place for these dog facilities to protect our precious fur babies. Of the 6 places locally we visited, all American pet resort in Washington twp is the ONLY one doing play groups of this size. Everyone else I have visited and also reviewed online only does btwn 2-20 at the very most. Also, when I checked reviews for all American in Washington, I noticed reviews saying their dog was hurt in a fight, not treated by staff in a timely manner, and didn’t contact parents right away. Of course there’s many fights in the groups, this place is putting together up to 50 dogs at a time and crossing their fingers that nothing happens. I will never send my beloved dogs here.

Very pleased with our dog Harriet’s experience at AAPR Shelby. Staff is very friendly and accommodating The facility is clean and dogs are placed into appropriate groups for group play. We will definitely call them again the next time we go out of town. After we picked up our dog we noticed she didn’t wanna leave because she was having so much fun.

We adopted our Fiona late last year and she can be skittish at times. Everyone at AARP in Shelby Twp took the extra time to be calm and friendly with her to make sure they created a happy place when she visits. Wouldn’t think twice a about taking her to any other place other than AAPR Shelby! 💗 …

O stars if I could. Constant animal injuries even death and so many dogs get sick here. Such a nasty and dirty facility. So many better option in the area. Every bad review they get they have gotten deleted. Watch this one will too.

If you’re unsure where to board your dog, look no further. You can even try a half day to test it out. My best friend recommended all American Pet Resort and I’m so glad she did! I started taking Mario here almost a year ago for our vacations. I rescued him from Costa Rica and he’s still a little scared of people and dogs at first, however he continues to improve. I feel that taking him here has really helped! For example, he was giving one of the staff members lots of love and kisses when I picked him up after our last vacation earlier this month. I love everything about this place, including the suites, raised cots, play areas, playtime, and of course the staff! Mario has so much fun here with all the new friends he meets each time! I miss him so much during our vacations, however it helps that I can watch him on the webcam anytime. The staff is wonderful and I feel that they know how to handle each dog individually! I have been recommending All American Pet Resort to all my friends and family and will continue to do so. I will also be taking Mario here again for all of our future vacations.

They take good care of your pet. They have both indoor and outdoor play facilities.

I like them, but they can be really irritating at times. I’ve made reservations over the phone, but some reps refuse to do it. They tell you that you have to do it online. The first time I tried to do it, the person who answered the phone kept blowing me off and I almost went with another kennel, especially since she did not give me the information I needed for the online form. Another problem occurred when they charged us for the dog’s nails, but never did it. To their credit, they tried to fix it the following week, but barely did the nails. The front desk clerk said she tried, but he was not a fan so they might still be long. Yeah…that’s an understatement. If you’re looking to get your dog’s nails done, save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. Considering how expensive this place is for boarding, they should have a consistently smooth process that meets their clients’ needs every single time. That being said, the one thing we really like about it is that the dogs get to play every other hour. If it weren’t for that, we would be somewhere else in a heartbeat.

Our Girl Trixie goes to All American 3 days a week for day care and also boarding while we are away. I can not say enough about this place, the staff is wonderful and Trixie loves playing with her friends.. Thank you All American.

Have taken my older dog swimming at Bark-A-Bout several times now, and both she and i have loved the experience! The indoor pool is large enough that she gets needed low impact exercise chasing balls in the water. Water is clean and kept at a good temperature, the pool surrounds have good traction (so important!), and the staff have been great. The facility is well managed, and the experienced staff ensure there are no unwanted dog interactions. Probably best for a dog that already knows how to swim: dogs enter or leave via steps, not a ramp, and humans can't go in the water to help a newbie. Highly recommend! My dog is so happy after a session!

I just have to say THANK YOU! The staff was amazingly friendly from the time I walked through the door. My sweet boy is deaf so grooming him has always been such a difficult task. Normally he would have to be medically sedated but I did not want to keep putting his body through that process. I brought Champ here and without incident he was able to be groomed. I am so happy I found you. We will forever be grateful and patrons of your business.

Our boy Winston just loves going to day camp, where he gets to swim and play with his friends. Bark-A-bout is a great activity center for both our standard poodles they love playing and over night stays. Staff is alway great with the boys.

I started bringing my pup Lotto a few weeks ago and he has been loving it! Getting him started was a nice and easy process, the tour I took was very informational and it was nice to see the whole facility which looks great. I really love all the additional treats and special things they offer with the monthly treat/extra calendars, Lotto loves the treats. I like the unleashed membership they offer as well, I purchased it on Lotto’s first day. Staff has been super nice as well to both of us. Really loving it so far!

Extremely disappointed in Bark-A-Bout’s doggy daycare program. My German Shepherd (high energy dog) spent more time in a kennel than she did playing. With their live cameras I noted every dog was not in the play area from about 1030am until 215 pm. No where did it say on their website, social medias, pamphlet, lengthy voicemail, or went I spoke to the staff members prior to scheduling that dogs are only guaranteed THREE hours of play when there for NINE hours. My dog has gone to other daycares due to us moving and I’ve worked at a dog daycare. Never did we lock dogs up for multiple hours. When I questioned why they only get limited time of play, they responded with “when the dogs are playing too long their behaviors escalate” which I can understand. But not every dogs behaviors escalate. It would be appreciated if the workers used their professional judgement of deciding what dogs need a “rest break” I picked my dog up early because I saw how long she’s been in a kennel. I then questioned if she would have been in the kennel until 530pm when I originally planned on picking her up and the staff member said “yes she already had her afternoon play” My dog has full range of our home on a daily basis and is now home with more energy than when she left from laying around not playing. So what’s the point of this daycare? I hope this helps others who want to send their dogs here. I was completely unaware and the staff was unfazed and unapologetic that the dogs in their care are locked up for so long which is also concerning. I have cancelled my scheduled daycare days and will not be returning

I booked a private pool rental for one hour. It cost $30. Or they do $15 for 15 minutes. They don’t supply you with towels, lifevest, or any toys to play with so you must bring your own. the pool is heated and indoors! Buddy was really scared at first until i showed him there are steps for him to walk into the pool. Overall though my dog had a lot of fun. this was our first time here and we will be back.

I can't say enough about how amazing our experience was with Kevin, and Planet Paws. From the meet and greet, to the time he spent caring for our little cat Sammy over three days, just phenomenal. Thorough, caring, compassionate, and prompt. Sent updates and photos with every visit, and was absolutely wonderful with her. Kevin was so professional and cared for our 2 cats (and more than a few plants) exactly as we requested! We can always tell how our cats feel when we return home from a trip, and we could tell they were happy and got plenty of attention during our time away. And all the plants survived! I'd recommend Planet Paws to any cat parent!

Kevin is a phenomenal dog walker. What he provides is not only dog walking, but also peace of my mind that my dogs are safe and well taken care of. Kevin is an absolute professional and takes pride in his business. Our dogs get great walks and he always walks them for the exact amount of time he is hired for. He provides map information of the route he takes and updates us with a picture of our dogs and how the walk went. We are very comfortable and wholly trust Kevin with our dogs. All in all, he is the best.

We used Planet Paws Pet Care when we went on a two week vacation. Our 2 cats are very social and don’t like to be left alone. Kevin came to our home daily and made sure that their feeding needs were met, litter box cleaned and also spent time playing with them. He provided daily updates and even sent pictures. We were able to enjoy our vacation without worrying about our furry boys. We can’t recommend them enough!

He is reliable when we need him and scheduling on the app is very easy. He is great with our dog and she loves him! He recaps the day and sends me pictures of how his visit went with our dog. I want to thank Kevin and Kristie for taking such good care of Zoe while we were away on vacation. It gave us so much peace of mind to know she was in good hands, especially considering her recent diagnosis of diabetes. They took special care to make sure she was fed and had her injections at the same time each day. We will definitely trust Planet Paws Pet Care to look after Zoe again in the future!

I love this place. My favorite part is that they divide the dogs by temperment for play time. I can't stress how important this is. When theres 50 dogs in a room, my dog gets nuts. This place is so much better. I used them for boarding, too. She came home stinky, i shouldve gotten the groom. However, the groomer was able to trim her nails, which no one has been able to do. I was recoended this place by someone in the pet sitting industry. Its the only place she would board her pets!

Great for playtime but if your dog suffers from anxiety and has issues being in small enclosures this may not suit them. I had boarded two huskies one age 4 who did great and the other one is 17 Who did not do well in the size of the kennel. They really are to small for bigger breeds. She Did great in group play though. The workers did what they could and listened to my concerns after calling to check in on her. I love the report cards and the groomer did a fantastic job with my girls. One who was blowing her coat so bad, it was coming out in chunks! Needless to say she looked and smelled like a brand new girl and they gave them bandanas as well. The only reason they did not get 5 stars, is because of the size of kennel, and all the extra charges for medications and group play in which are NOT included in the boarding price. Just an FYI They also want to charge you if you bring your own food. Which to me does not seem fair as I’ve used other boarding facilities and have never been charged for that. Not a bad place to board just not the greatest experience for one of mine. Which is no fault of the facility. I absolutely Loved being able to check in on my girls with the cameras.

I have nothing but great things to say about this place! Zero (our 9 month old American Bully) absolutely loves going to daycare & boarding. He has been very well taken care of when we’ve boarded him. The establishment is always very well kept up, clean, attention to detail has been great, and if there’s ever been any kind of issue or question we’ve been immediately called!! The staff is extremely kind, loving, & friendly to him and us! it’s such a comfort to be able to check on our boy throughout the day when he’s at daycare or boarding and also to make sure he’s getting his exercise and staying out of trouble. If you have any reservations about not coming to have them look after your pup, DON’T because we’ve had nothing but great experiences since we started attending 6 months ago.

In a sea of endless pet boarding locations AAPR is my absolute favorite. Great staff, clean location, fair prices, and fantastic experience for pet parents with extended drop off and pick up times. The pre boarding meet and greet/trial was by far the easiest here. The last place we used required us to board our dog at cost for a day as the trial.

My big boy Dexter loves coming here. The entire staff is so amazing. Jacqueline, Angelina and the rest of the staff are the best. They took the best pictures of Dexter and are so accommodating. We needed a place to board our dog while we travelled. Friendly, patience staff. I like the fact that you can watch your dog via camera (even though we didn't pick that option) We will definitely use this company in the future.

We needed to board our 16 yr. old Labradoodle for 7 days and were very concerned about how he would handle being away from us. We decided to keep him at All American because they have 24 hour staffing. The facility and staff are wonderful! We enjoyed our trip because we knew he was in great hands and we could check in on him anytime via the 24 hour cameras. They took care of his medication and they brought him to the lobby as the 'reception dog' during the day :) I recommend All American Pet Resorts Lakeshore for any age dog, but especially for our seniors who may require special TLC!

I have been taking my dogs to All American Pet Resorts Lakeshore for years 🐶 🐶 Their staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, professional and it’s clear they love our dogs! The resort itself is super clean and smells clean. It is also beautiful and well maintained. They have staff there 24 hours a day and their overnight people even walk all the dogs in the middle of the night! That gives me peace of mind I can’t find anywhere else 😍 Each dog gets its own spacious suite with comfy bedding options and lots of playtime. They have live streaming cameras so I can watch my dogs play and while they’re in their suite. None of the other places in the area come even close to the quality of care and value! We won’t take our dogs anywhere else!

I being my puppy here every day and the staff is always very friendly and the place is so clean. My puppy wakes up every morning anxious to come! Recommend it to anyone reading. They even take pictures of our dogs for us!

I recently adopted a 6 year old pup, and I took him to Animal Hospital of Chesterfield (they are incredible), but also took him to their Tree Lodge Pet Resort for grooming, and Heather did an AMAZING job, despite him being a little feisty about getting his nails done. He looks so amazing! I posted before (shaggy look) and after photos. He's so clean and such a happy pup! Thank you so much!!

Both of my fur - babies have been going to daycare at Tree Lodge Pet Resort since they were pups. The staff has always treated them both as if they were their own and always make everyday fun for them. Archie and Josie LOVE everyone there, from the ladies at the front desk to the caregivers. Everyday they do something different with the dogs, a picture party (the human siblings always love the pictures and frames I come home with), enrichment, or a food activity. They share pictures on their Facebook page, so I get to save and share all of their fun! Thank you for taking such great care of Archie and Josie! We love coming here!

I have two dogs that have been going there for a few days now and I love it that they come home so tired which means they’re getting the exercise they need and they’re doing activities. The staff is all great. Everybody’s been very friendly.

My boys absolutely LOVE coming to this daycare. The staff at the front desk is kind, and the girls in the back that take care of the dogs are great. They have cute “parties” the dogs can partake in, and they are very accommodating to all needs. I have boarded here as well and it was great!! There is even a vet attached so anything you need for your pet is right there! Never had an issue taking my big guys here, I know they will be well taken care of.

He loves it here. Not 20 dogs in waiting room ever maybe two at most, so his anxiety isnt goibg crazy. My father even started taking his dog here . Moose is 5 . I have also taken my bird and cat here. Amazing place with good prices .

We were a little apprehensive to try this with our big 7 month old pup with separation anxiety and who hates a crate/kennel. I was very impressed on my initial tour by the caring staff, reasonable prices, cleanliness and fun activities. I was completely surprised how much our dog loved it! We stumbled across Tree Lodge when we moved to the area. I honestly couldn’t ask for a better daycare for our puppy! She absolutely loves going and playing and all of the staff adore her. It’s so nice to walk in and have the staff know which dog is mine without having to say a word! Everyone I have interacted with is extremely kind and helpful. You can see that they all love dogs and enjoy having fun with them. The adorable parties with photos are an added bonus!

$30 a day to give my dog his supplements with his food. Remind me again how my 10 day boarding turned into a $1500 bill. The nice lady at the front desk said they have to take advantage of people because they get sued by people. In which I said you should be sued for the prices you charge.

I have been boarding my dog Sadie here for about 3 yrs now whenever I need to. They love Sadie and I feel extremely confident with the care they give her! I have no worries when Sadie is there and she’s a happy girl!! Thank you Schramms! You have a customer for life!

I didn’t like the fact that he would be walking on stones all day. I understand that grass can carry health hazards but since this is a farm I was hoping he could enjoy running around on grass. Other than that it looks like a well maintained facility.

Outstanding! Melanie did a stellar job grooming my Havanese. She cut him exactly as I'd asked. I also asked due to mobility issues if on future visits they would come to car to pick up and drop off my pup and they said absolutely they would do that. I can highly recommend Schramms without hesitation.

Love this place! People are so welcoming and my dog doesn't mind getting her nails trimmed and dremeled. Reasonable prices too!

They always take great care of our dog. She is always happy when we drop her off and pick her up. This has not been the case in the past when we've taken her to other kennels.

My last review was removed and it shouldn't have been. I left my dog there and when I picked him up after 7 days I could hear the groomer yelling at him "stop it" ovef and over until the lady at the desk sent someone to let her know I was there. He was there 7 days, lost 10lbs, only a quarter of his food was gone, and he was timid. We board him at another establishment several times a year and he loves going there, comes home exhausted and with an empty food container. The only reason I'm reposting is because we started talking about our experience with friends and we get really upset about it so I checked to see if my review was still here and it had been removed. Our pets are like our kids, I don't want anyone to have to feel the guilt we still have for leaving him there. He obviously wasnt treated the way we expected. We were told when dropping him off that he wasn't allowed to play with other dogs because he is part pitbull. Had we known that we would have taken him somewhere else. We still thought he would get some time of play time, not isolated watching other dogs getting to play for 7 days. He loves playing with other dogs and is way friendlier than some other breeds out there.

Words cannot express how happy I am to have found Cozy Pet Sitting! Julie has been a life saver. She is always flexible with scheduling, has great communication, and above all is phenomenal with my senior dog that requires daily medications and special handling on walks. I met Lindsay and Nicole at my initial meeting and greet and they were great. You can really tell they love animals and care about what they do. Nicole was my pet sitter and she was absolutely fantastic! I felt bad leaving her with my 12 week old puppy for the weekend (since puppies can be a handful) but she was awesome and didn’t hesitate to watch him. I’ll be using Cozy Pet Sitting services in the future!

Meow & Woof really helped me out in a pinch! My senior cat needs medication daily, and when I needed to leave town for a few days I didn’t know who to turn to. I am new to the area and don’t have friends or family to rely on. My vet recommended Meow and Woof and I am so thankful!! I didn’t need a sitter per se, just medication assistance, which Shawn was happy to help in my unusual case. Very respectful, confident, and easy to talk to. He came by my house and made sure my cat got her pill, and was very prompt in letting me know when he arrived/left and that she successfully swallowed her meds. He came by before I left to meet her in person and see the process. I would 110% recommend these services to anyone needing assistance with their pet. Thank you again!!

Professional team, cares about my dog and she likes them. She got to stay home. That's what matters. She was still nervous, but she would have gotten sick in the kennels. My dog has epilepsy so I worry about her when she is super stressed. I didn't have to worry at all on vacation. Not to mention it was totally affordable!!!
