Lisa, first, I am very sorry for taking longer than I said to write this review (1 week and I went a little over...my apologies!), but it was very busy when I returned. Now for my review: I booked Lisa from my gut reaction to her first email and then subsequent ones. She did not have any reviews at the time, but after reading SO many profiles and holding out for that "one special one", I was glad I did hold out. Lisa is a hidden gem in zeewoi, because while experienced with animals, she was just starting out on here when she applied to keep my little Molly while I was away in Antarctica. Lisa was amazing. Her communication was timely and very thorough. It was evident that she and my dog bonded very fast. Due to COVID and the Antarctica cruise I was on, there were a lot of hurdles (covid testing) to pass to even get on the ship. This put a lot of uncertainty toward this trip on the front ends and back ends of it. However, Lisa strived to accommodate the uncertainties, if they came to pass. Luckily, it all went perfectly and we had the time of our lives. I could not have taken this trip without the assurance she gave me. There wasn't a lot of communication during our trip b/c, well...we were at the bottom of the Earth! However, when I returned, I did find detailed updates on Molly, along with some photos. Molly got so many walks and I do feel that Molly was even a bit sad after the newness of me coming back home wore off. It was as if she was still waiting to see if Lisa walked through the front door a few times. I am very thankful to have met Lisa, and if she has applied for your sit, give her a chance, even if she still doesn't have the most reviews like some profiles have after a few years. Everyone has to start somewhere, and I knew to trust my gut with her. Lisa, if you ever want to return to Nashville, just let me know and I'll try to be out of town again! ;) haha. I also talked to Mitch about getting a future THSitter for him, as well.....where both our dogs would stay together at HIS house. Believe me...you would LOVE his house on the lake. It's incredible! :) You'll be the first I contact for our next travels, if you think you ever want to return here....but who knows when that might be, given these stinkin' gas prices now, right? Well, all the best to you! Thank you for a wonderful sit. I hope you get all sits that you hope for in the future!

House and dog sitting for Vicki and Andrew was a truly great experience. Their home is a real pleasure to stay in, so quiet and beautifully designed. Fizz and Rocket are full of energy, well behaved and the best companions. We went on lovely walks and spent time in the gorgeous garden playing fetch. We highly recommend this house sit and we would happily sit again without hesitation.

Clare
We had a great stay at Clare and Johnny's lovely home in Brewood. :)

We got to meet them both shortly before they left for their trip. They left plenty of information about the pets and the area and were also readily available online to answer any questions we had about the pets or the house while they were away!

The guinea pigs live in a shed outside with an attachment for them to easily access their run. We really enjoyed hearing the pitter-patter of their tiny feet making their way outside each morning! Clare left lots of pots with pre-cut veggies and fruit for the guinea pigs - this was very handy for us to work out what portion sizes to give the piggies once these portions had run out. Beebee, Essie, Sylvia-Evangeline, Fonda, May and Rodney were all very sweet and cute and all had different personalities. We found Rodney to be the bravest, or maybe he was just the most curious! We enjoyed getting the guineas out for cuddles and made sure we took plenty of pictures with them!

Ernie is probably the sweetest and friendliest cat we have ever met! He would follow us around the house, climb onto our laps, join our video calls, and always be waiting by the door when we came back from outside. He sleeps a lot (as cats do!) but also sometimes has little bursts of energy and loves to play with his feather toy. We miss having cuddles with Ernie! Like the guinea pigs, we also took plenty of pictures and videos with Ernie too!

Clare and Johnny's home is wonderful and comfortable to stay in. Their garden is huge and has a wonderful array of shrubs and flowers. We were lucky enough to get some really nice weather during our stay and would sometimes picnic in the garden next to the guinea pig run (with Ernie joining us as well of course!). Brewood is also a lovely village with interesting buildings and we went on lots of nice walks along the canal.

Overall, we had a great time with Ernie and the guinea pigs, and would love to visit them again one day! :)

Marissa
Harvey and Monty are so sweet! It was delightful to watch them play with each other. Marissa is a considerate hostess who made sure we had all we needed. Her home is close to Raleigh’s downtown so it’s easy to get to anywhere we wanted to go!

Ginger
My housesit for Ginger and her incredibly sweet Luna was so perfect. It was so smooth, and Ginger is the loveliest host I could've asked for! Her home is amazing, and she really went above and beyond to ensure that I was comfortable there, which I'm eternally grateful for.
Luna is the best behaved dog I have ever looked after (don't tell my dog back home!), and she really is so affectionate, loving and sweet.
San Miguel de Allende is also a great town, and Ginger was so kind to help me connect with people, and recommended some great spots in town.
If you're looking for cuddles with a really loving doggo - this housesit is for you!

Nui
We had a lovely time staying with sweet Minnie!!
Nui has a calm and comfortable home with a gorgeous garden outside....that even featured delicious edible flowers! She made sure to explain everything in full detail so there was no confusion. The area is quiet and peaceful. Minnie is calm and adorable, loves to be close to you for some netflix and cuddles and is a big fan of being brushed as well. Overall strongly recommend this home for your next catsit!

Neil
This is a 5 star sit that we definitely recommend and would love to do again!

Liz and Neil were fantastic hosts, who treated us like friends from the start. Communication with them prior and during the sit was unproblematic and they provided clear instructions on everything we could need during the sit.
We had the chance to meet them, right before they left and they are the nicest people!
They trusted us to care of their beautiful home, which is ideally located in a quiet neighbourhood with lots of green areas and a short bike ride or walk to supermarkets.
The house was super comfortable, clean and had all the amenities you can think of.

Bismarck and Boefje are some of the sweetest and funniest souls, we have ever sitted.

Bismarck stole our hearts. He is well behaved, curious, chill and goofy. He can sleep for hours, but when he is outside, he is really active and energetic. He was so happy to see us every morning, when we were getting up and greeted us with joy.

Boefje is curious, cuddly and independent. He was always up for some head scratches and he loved to play with us and his toys. He will tell you, if he wants something from you. :)

It was a real treat to take care of them and it was hard to say good bye. We already miss Biz and Boef and hope to see them again.
