Leslie is super communicative and hospitable, she made me feel welcome and at home in her place. She left some recommendations on what to explore around and even tried some of her recipes that she left (amazing + delicious!). She has a great eye for detail and is just a really cool person to get to know. Wilson her furbaby, is a little ball of curious energy. He looooves adventure and looking around at new places. Great dog to take out on the trails and to run with (he can probably outlast you lol). He a bit crazy sometimes on the leash when he knows there are other dogs/people/squirrels he wants to meet, he has a high excitement drive and is still a pup. You can tell Leslie spent a lot of time with him to become this super curious and explorative doggo that's super friendly and loving. I adored this Willy Wilson boy, he's a super playful explorer who looks like he can recite Shakespeare and Poetry to you as you are cooking food- a boy after your own heart.
What a pleasure it was to be in Jennifer and Joe beautiful and comfortable house. They were very welcoming and showed us all we needed to be at home during our stay. Additionally, the Welcome Guide was comprehensive and well thought out. Every possible question was addressed as well as great recommendations to local sights and restaurants. The area is lovely and it is easy to walk in the neighborhood. However, the best part of the sit is the three adorable kitties. They kept us entertained, each with their unique personalities. The two boys were very playful, while Willow was acting more of the older sister role, often a little bored with their shenanigans. It was a wonderful stay and we would recommend it to anyone looking to travel to the Stamford area.
I had a very sweet stay with Cleo and Kali. The kitties were absolutely delightful. Rascally enough to keep me entertained, but never destructive. Sweet and affectionate, but not needy. Cuteness overload was a common condition I encountered. Though I did not have an opportunity to meet Tory and Erez in person, it was wonderful working with Tory. She made sure I had all of the information I needed and went above and beyond to compile information on various things I might enjoy during my visit. She genuinely cares about the quality of a guest's stay and it made me feel so welcome and at ease. The home is cozy and was left in excellent condition. It's a magical area and there is a lot to see and do. Consider yourself blessed if you have the opportunity to pass some days here.
Terhi was kind, communicative, and easy to coordinate with. She laid out everything in concise bullet points. Her home is lovely, beautifully designed and felt comfortable to be in – while also being close to downtown. Lucy and Barnacle are both great cats; Barnacle takes a little bit to warm up, but once they do, they're friendly. Highly recommend this. Thanks Terhi!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time looking after Agnes. She is a very gentle, sweet natured cat. She enjoys being brushed and picked up and cuddled. We had a nice meet and greet with Eleanor and Sam and were even left freshly made cookies, what a treat! Their home is in a great location, just across the road to the beach. Walks along the coast were enjoyed in both directions, and the pub they recommended, the Inn on on the beach was amazing.
The pups were wonderfully behaved and easy to watch! The house was in a nice peaceful spot that was a nice getaway for an urban dweller!
