Was so easy connecting and communicating with Slogan throughout. Being overseas always adds a layer of concern but having Sloan care for our Fred kept me at ease. She and Fred connected from the first point of meeting. It was so lovely. I received photos from her of their walks and updates. I would recommend her to anyone needing their furry friend cared for.
It was a wonderful week with Ron and Oscar! Both are so cute! Oscar loves to cuddle, lying next to you on the couch and he loves to be brushed. Every morning he woke me up very sweetly. Ron loves to watch "bird TV". While watching he sits in a special position :-) Two or three times a day he demands short, intense cuddles. Their big cat teaser is great and was used regulary. When both clean or play each other, it was so cute! Louisa is a very friendly and uncomplicated person. Her home is very cozy, close to the train station Basel Bad. The guest bed is so comfortable, I slept very well. Thank you for your hospitality, Louisa! I miss Ron and Oscar!
We had the pleasure to stay around 20 days, taking care of Balu and Bailey. These two were the sweetest thing. So easygoing and lovely. We enjoyed every minute with them. They were not demanding at all. A good walk in the morning around a beautiful pineapple field near the house, feeding them, playing but mostly cuddling and enjoying with them. They took turns to sleep on our bed and loved it, specially Balu who loved cuddling. Pook and Ulf were so kind and gentle too that they even invited us to stay some days with them after their arrival. We got to enjoy Pook's amazing food and nice talks with both of them about Thailand and their lives. We really fell in love with the 4 of them. Would be back and sit them again in a heartbeat!
Taking care of Ellie and Mia at Elizabeth’s place was one of our best experience! They are both the nicest cat you can hope for, such easy going cat and asking for cuddles all the time! Also Elizabeth is an amazing host, she gave us great advices on what to do in NY and what was going on at the moment. All instructions where really clear and straightforward to follow, making us really confident on how to proceed at any moment. We will definitely look to come back look after Mia and Ellie!
We had a great time looking after Laura’s home and her lovely dog Snoop. Laura is a great communicator and Snoop is such a cute, friendly and cuddly dog.
Martina’s lovely pets were a pleasure to look after, in the end only had Maia, Stella, Nobby and the 3 sheep to take care of as Martina thought it would be best for place Lucy and Ebonii into the kennels - which did work out well! Martina’s home is at the end of a beautiful laneway in rural Co. Mayo, the house has everything you should want/need and Martina is such a beautiful, sweet person who has a very kind soul and will make you feel at home straight away! Nobby is such a wonderful donkey and loves attention as much as Maia does! Maia gives you the best welcome home and is always up for pats almost anytime you sit down. Stella is slow to warm up but when she does it’s face rubs all the way! The three sheep are easy to look after and are pets from a young age, so enjoy you going into their field and petting them. I would 100% recommend a sit here if you want a true getaway into rural farm life in stunning Mayo.
