I've used zeewoi more than 10-15 times now and this was the first time I've had multiple people in the neighborhood tell me that they saw Kaila (my pup) out and about all the time and that they saw her playing outside with the pet sitter a ton. Kaila is a high-energy herding dog, so that was the best feedback I could have asked for and it made me really happy to hear that. Justin did a good job of sending pictures of Kaila and Milo (my cat) every couple of days which is always great. He was very self-sufficient and responsive as well. Tidyness is the only area that fell a bit short compared to the rest. My apt was by no means a mess when I came home. In fact, you could tell Justin dusted/cleaned all the surfaces; it's just the pillows on the couch were disorganized/all over the place and the floors were covered in pet hair. I have a regular vaccuum in addition to a roomba that's scheduled to run every morning, but I can see on the app that it didn't run once while I was away (unsure why). In case the roomba wasn't working, it would've been great to have received a heads up that the roomba wasn't running (my cat and dog accumulate *lots* of hair) or for Justin to have used the vaccuum before leaving, in addition to putting the pillows back in place on the couch. That said, I care *much* more about the time he spent with my cat and dog and the quality of care given to them than I care about the floors or couch pillows. So while I would've liked coming home to clean floors and a tidy-looking couch, I still 100% recommend Justing and would be more than happy to have Justin sit for me any time he'd like in the future as I know he did a great job with my dog and cat and that they were really happy with him.

Lori and Ben were great. We had to come home for one night during their stay, and they were just fine with that. They took great care of our kitty. I only wished we would have heard from them a bit more when we were available. (We weren't reachable for a portion of our trip.) That's probably my fault for not requesting updates. The house was nice and clean when we returned home. My only disappointment was having to remake the bed myself. The sheets were clean and folded on the bed. It was just one more thing that I had to do upon my return. I highly recommend Lori and Ben to take care of your fur family. I hope they can return for us. I'll just make my expectations a little clearer. :)

Carolyn and Douglas were fantastic. It's immediately apparent that they love animals as our dogs took right to them. They were great communicators and left our house nice and clean. I would highly recommend them.

Todd and April were just what we were hoping for in a house/cat sitter. They communicated with us during our long vacation on a regular basis, and took great care of our cat and home! We were hesitant to use this service, but felt quite at ease during our vacation. They were willing to come a day early to get to know the house and so I could meet them. The house was spotless when we arrived home. We couldn't be happier :)

We really loved our time taking care of Sagan, Stella and Gertrude. Sagan and Stella are really cuddly cats, they would either rub themselves against or sleep by our side on the couch to maximize contact, they would sleep by our feet (sometimes using them as their own personal pillows haha) and just follow us around the house. Whenever we had a meeting, Stella would come, sit on the chair besides and keep us company, even sometimes falling asleep right there; she was very curious about Gertrude and would walk by her enclosure and looks at her (don’t worry, she never fell in haha). Sagan wanted cuddles from us from the very beginning, always very welcomed, and would follows us whenever we went to the bathroom and the escort us back to the living room. At the beginning Sagan would refuse to eat most of his dry food, but once we found out that he preferred the light brown nibs, we would select them for him, he then started eating more than Stella haha. They both immensely enjoyed playing with the laser point. Sagan would wait by the wall by the bedroom’s door, hinting at us that he wanted to play, and once he started, he could play forever, chasing and try to catch the laser by jumping all over the placer (he would sometimes also try to bite it, which was so adorable); Stella on the other hand, would follow the laser around the house, running from one point to the other, she specially liked it to follow the pointer in the kitchen. She would also like to run on the wheel outside on the balcony and lay there and sunbathe. They never ever fought, and we actually caught glimpses where Sagan would groom Stella, and she would absolutely love it. It was also very easy to comb the cats, a very much needed thing as they were shedding their winter coat.

Who can forget about Gertrude, the world’s most active turtle out there? She spent her days swimming, moving around her furniture or sunbathing under her lamp. At the beginning, as she was a bit unfamiliar with us, whenever we walked by, she would hide, but quickly she got confortable around us. If you walk by, she would most likely follow you around, or if you want to play with her, she’ll following your finger all around her enclosure, going up and down, left and right. During out stay, she fought with teeth and nails to climb her platform without the rocks and was very close to achieving it, falling short after wrestling with it after a couple of minutes, but we were so proud of her when, towards the end of the house-sitting, she did it! We knew she had it in her, and after cheering her on, she managed to do it.

Nicole and Mario were amazing hosts, before our housesitting they sent us a very detailed guide and asked us if we had any questions beforehand. Before we arrived, they explained us how to get there, what method of transport to use, where to hop off, etc. They also were kind enough to print out this guide and leave it for us, which not only explained their pets’ routines and their home’s peculiarities, but they also left us some recommendations of things we should do and restaurants we should go. Once we arrived, they explained as everything in-situ just in case. Their home is very cozy, luminous and spacious. They have a beautiful balcony, where one can enjoy a cup of coffee and read or just relax and spend sometime with the cats. Their kitchen is equipped with everything you might need or want. Their home is perfectly insulated, so it maintains the home’s heat, and as they are on a higher floor, you can’t hear any noises from the street or nearby. Behind their home, there’s a huge park you can walk by or run, or just have a nice time with nature. It’s perfectly located, a few minuets away from a huge shopping mall and from the tram station which will take you to the city center, only a 15min ride. Inside the mall there’s a Lidl and different stores and restaurants.

The communication with them was great throughout the whole experience, before they left, before our housesitting we had a video-call with Nicole, where we also had the opportunity to briefly meet Sagan, Stella and Gertrude. During the sit, we communicated daily, sending them pictures or video of Sagan, Stella and Gertrude. They left us everything we could need to take care of them, so the petsitting went smoothly without any issues. We loved staying at their place and taking care of their pets for them, it was such an amazing experience, we really loved them. If you have the opportunity to look after Sagan, Stella and Gertrude, don’t hesitate and take it, you wouldn’t regret it!
