Lori and Ben were great. We had to come home for one night during their stay, and they were just fine with that. They took great care of our kitty. I only wished we would have heard from them a bit more when we were available. (We weren't reachable for a portion of our trip.) That's probably my fault for not requesting updates. The house was nice and clean when we returned home. My only disappointment was having to remake the bed myself. The sheets were clean and folded on the bed. It was just one more thing that I had to do upon my return. I highly recommend Lori and Ben to take care of your fur family. I hope they can return for us. I'll just make my expectations a little clearer. :)
Carolyn and Douglas were fantastic. It's immediately apparent that they love animals as our dogs took right to them. They were great communicators and left our house nice and clean. I would highly recommend them.
Todd and April were just what we were hoping for in a house/cat sitter. They communicated with us during our long vacation on a regular basis, and took great care of our cat and home! We were hesitant to use this service, but felt quite at ease during our vacation. They were willing to come a day early to get to know the house and so I could meet them. The house was spotless when we arrived home. We couldn't be happier :)
We really loved our time taking care of Sagan, Stella and Gertrude. Sagan and Stella are really cuddly cats, they would either rub themselves against or sleep by our side on the couch to maximize contact, they would sleep by our feet (sometimes using them as their own personal pillows haha) and just follow us around the house. Whenever we had a meeting, Stella would come, sit on the chair besides and keep us company, even sometimes falling asleep right there; she was very curious about Gertrude and would walk by her enclosure and looks at her (don’t worry, she never fell in haha). Sagan wanted cuddles from us from the very beginning, always very welcomed, and would follows us whenever we went to the bathroom and the escort us back to the living room. At the beginning Sagan would refuse to eat most of his dry food, but once we found out that he preferred the light brown nibs, we would select them for him, he then started eating more than Stella haha. They both immensely enjoyed playing with the laser point. Sagan would wait by the wall by the bedroom’s door, hinting at us that he wanted to play, and once he started, he could play forever, chasing and try to catch the laser by jumping all over the placer (he would sometimes also try to bite it, which was so adorable); Stella on the other hand, would follow the laser around the house, running from one point to the other, she specially liked it to follow the pointer in the kitchen. She would also like to run on the wheel outside on the balcony and lay there and sunbathe. They never ever fought, and we actually caught glimpses where Sagan would groom Stella, and she would absolutely love it. It was also very easy to comb the cats, a very much needed thing as they were shedding their winter coat. Who can forget about Gertrude, the world’s most active turtle out there? She spent her days swimming, moving around her furniture or sunbathing under her lamp. At the beginning, as she was a bit unfamiliar with us, whenever we walked by, she would hide, but quickly she got confortable around us. If you walk by, she would most likely follow you around, or if you want to play with her, she’ll following your finger all around her enclosure, going up and down, left and right. During out stay, she fought with teeth and nails to climb her platform without the rocks and was very close to achieving it, falling short after wrestling with it after a couple of minutes, but we were so proud of her when, towards the end of the house-sitting, she did it! We knew she had it in her, and after cheering her on, she managed to do it. Nicole and Mario were amazing hosts, before our housesitting they sent us a very detailed guide and asked us if we had any questions beforehand. Before we arrived, they explained us how to get there, what method of transport to use, where to hop off, etc. They also were kind enough to print out this guide and leave it for us, which not only explained their pets’ routines and their home’s peculiarities, but they also left us some recommendations of things we should do and restaurants we should go. Once we arrived, they explained as everything in-situ just in case. Their home is very cozy, luminous and spacious. They have a beautiful balcony, where one can enjoy a cup of coffee and read or just relax and spend sometime with the cats. Their kitchen is equipped with everything you might need or want. Their home is perfectly insulated, so it maintains the home’s heat, and as they are on a higher floor, you can’t hear any noises from the street or nearby. Behind their home, there’s a huge park you can walk by or run, or just have a nice time with nature. It’s perfectly located, a few minuets away from a huge shopping mall and from the tram station which will take you to the city center, only a 15min ride. Inside the mall there’s a Lidl and different stores and restaurants. The communication with them was great throughout the whole experience, before they left, before our housesitting we had a video-call with Nicole, where we also had the opportunity to briefly meet Sagan, Stella and Gertrude. During the sit, we communicated daily, sending them pictures or video of Sagan, Stella and Gertrude. They left us everything we could need to take care of them, so the petsitting went smoothly without any issues. We loved staying at their place and taking care of their pets for them, it was such an amazing experience, we really loved them. If you have the opportunity to look after Sagan, Stella and Gertrude, don’t hesitate and take it, you wouldn’t regret it!

I’ve worked in the pet care industry for 6 years, so I know firsthand how important, yet difficult, it is to find trustworthy and caring people to take care of your animals. I found Erica and Chaz through a colleague when I was looking for a dog walker as my job got busier and it became more difficult for me to take my dog, Peaches, out in the middle of the day. They are the kindest and most caring human beings with her and have put up with her quirks so well and I would simply not trust anyone else, besides my parents, to take care of her. I adore both Chaz and Erica and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dog walker, pet sitter or trainer!
I have had nothing but good experiences with staff of Bark at the Moon. They are always dependable and reliable, and have been very accommodating to changes in my schedule when they happen. Most importantly, they love my dogs as much as we do, so I know that they are receiving the absolute best care. A recent added bonus has been the “field trips” several times a week that has really helped my dog with her anxiety. I am so happy that I found Bark at the Moon to help care for my fur babies.
We love bark at the moon! We have a feisty puppy and Erica really is so patient and understanding with it all. We are so grateful to have her be available to us when we are out working all day to give our pup his much needed mid day lunch and walk. Cannot recommend their services enough; we would never be able to do this alone with their help. She always send us photos and updates via text about how he’s doing when she’s there, and I trust her wholeheartedly with our pup.
Bark at the Moon walked and fed Lily when I was out of town for a few days. They were incredibly kind and professional, and Lily appreciated their punctuality as well. They even gave me some tips on how to associate seeing other dogs with treat time. I couldn’t recommend anyone better.
I contacted Bark at the Moon late last winter, when I needed advice before adopting a sweet and snuggly but “difficult” dog. I had never met Erica before, but her experience with the Victoria Stilwell Academy gave me confidence that I could trust her input. During our phone call, Erica's insightfulness and realistic perspective about our situation furthered my confidence. She said she’d be happy to work with us if I decided that adopting this dog was the right decision for me. It was, and he and I have been happily working with her since then! Erica is personable, understanding, and genuinely cares about her clients and their needs. The more I talk to and work with her, the more I respect her insights and knowledge about dog training and behavior. She always asks questions about my dog and his habits, to be sure we’re working to treat the causes, not the symptoms. Erica taught us positive reinforcement-based tactics that work for his specific needs (and mine!). She also gave me pointers on things I’d already been working on, which turned out to be the keys to getting consistent responses from my guy. All of the things we’ve worked on have fed into one another, and I’m even seeing positive changes in certain behaviors that we haven’t addressed directly. To me, that’s a huge testament to her methods. It’s been a lot of work and there’s still more ahead, but we’ve made SO much progress in a pretty short amount of time. We definitely wouldn’t be where we are now without Erica’s help. Thank you, Erica!!
Erica takes care of my two cats, Kodak and Leica, when I'm out traveling. I never have to worry if they're being well cared for. She'll reach out with pictures and updates of how they're doing. I don't know a single other person that I'd feel more comfortable leaving my cats with than her. Bark at the Moon is the best and I'd be lost without Erica!
I recently rescued a puppy, Sadie, who had a rough start to her life. She was an incredibly fearful puppy and I was unable to comfortably groom her, get a collar on her or share a couch with her without fear of being growled at or snapped. Unfortunately, I tried a different trainer previous to Erica who actually recommended that I return my dog. I was feeling very lost and discouraged, but didn’t want to give up on Sadie. That’s when I found Erica and everything changed. Erica listened to my concerns and taught me positive reinforcement training techniques, which really helped to earn Sadie’s trust and reduce her fears. Sadie has blossomed into an incredibly happy, energetic puppy and I feel confident in the skills that Erica has taught me to apply them to future problems that may arise. I would recommend Erica from Bark at the Moon to anyone considering dog training.
If you're looking for am amazing dog walker/ dog sitter look no further. Bark at the moon LLC is absolutely AMAZING! Erica and her husband run an amazing company, I've had her care for my babies(dogs) for awhile now and have been very happy with her services. Both dogs have taken to them super fast which to me is a great sign, they are pet-loving, spoiling and compassionate about what they do. I highly recommend them if you want to feel comfortable and at ease when leaving you babies!
My senior dog, Morty, is medically fragile and completely deaf. The care provided by Erica and Bark at the Moon is unparalleled. I know my dog is in competent, compassionate hands with this excellent company - they have my utmost trust. His medications and foods are dispensed perfectly and communication with Erica is always clear. She is extremely precise with care instructions and I feel confident that everything is handled down to the tiniest detail. His deafness means he startles easily and cannot use verbal commands, but Bark at the Moon is so gentle and patient that he is always at ease with them. He had an unexpected surgery recently and the care provided by Erica while he was recovering was nothing short of exceptional. She made sure he was comfortable as possible and took him on short little walk in his cone. They have my profound gratitude for helping our most beloved family member when he needed it most. If you are looking for pet care, you've found it. Bark at the Moon is the best there is.
Bark at the Moon is the absolute best! Erica and Otis have a special bond and he looks forward to her weekly visits, he never shuts up about her. Every single aspect of dealing with this company is a treat. Incredibly professional interactions but also fun, the most qualified and caring individuals. We wouldn’t trust our little dude with anyone else. This is a glowing infinite recommendation for others to use this company for their pets.
I can not say enough good things about Beth and the care that she gives to my 2 fur-babies! She has been walking and pet sitting for my dogs for the last 2 years. I work long, and sometimes unpredictable, hours at the Hospital. Beth has always come through when I've asked her to walk my dogs, even on short notice when I get stuck at the hospital with a late case. She is reliable, punctual, and very caring towards my dogs. She is also very knowledgable - when I adopted both of my dogs, she knew just how to approach each of them to gain their trust, and has picked up on when one of them was developing an ear infection and suggested I bring him to the Vet. She knows her stuff! I recommend her to everyone I know!
I have used Beth and Home But Not Alone Pet Care for over 20 years. During that time, Beth has taken care of our cats and dog for extended vacations, sporadic, evenings, or days away, sailing weekends, and in the past year on a full-time basis, because of surgery that left me unable to care for my pets. She is incredibly reliable, knowledgeable about animals, and very caring and loving. After all these years, we consider her a member of our family. She also takes care of my son’s dog, and upon my recommendation, various friends’ pets. Everyone says the same thing. Home But Not Alone is the best care you can give your pet.
Beth took great care of our two cats when we were away. The cats are sometimes skittish, but she brought out the best in both of them. During our vacation, Beth took care of our cats and our house, keeping an eye on our newspapers and making sure the lights went on. We were also happy that if anything happened, she knows our vet's office and would contact them if needed. We will definitely use their services again!
Not many pet sitters are veterinarian recommended. I was fortunate to find Home But Not Alone. My cat was diagnosed with hip dysplasia & warrants special care. I also have a snake which is almost impossible to find someone willing to care for him. Beth scheduled a meet & greet appointment. She took great lengths to understand my pet needs. I highly recommend this company.
I love Beth! I found out about home but not alone through sea girt animal hospital after I my dog was diagnosed with diabetes she was the only pet sitter in the area that would administer his insulin shot
Best pet sitter ever! Been using Beth for years. Always reliable and my dog loves her. Goes above and beyond expectations!! 🐶 …
Takes very good care of my dog, Merlin. Will come if I have an emergency, comes in the snow, and in state of emergency. I work for a hospital, so it is very important Merlin has someone I can trust.

Drew is the best. Always kind and caring. I'm confident that both my senior dogs and cat will be safe and happy while we're away. Drew is dependable and thoughtful. I totally recommend Born to Wag.
If it wasn’t for Drew at Born to Wag I wouldn’t be able to travel. I have 3 sweet but unruly dogs. Drew manages to walk all 3 of them together, which they love. They absolutely adore Drew and I have complete confidence that he’ll always be responsible and loving with them. He sends pictures and my dogs are always happy, which allows me to relax and not stress about them. Great guy, recommend highly.
Drew and the Born 2 Wag team are the best! They have been caring for my dog(s) for over four years. Five stars is not nearly enough. When my 16 year old Golden started failing they were so patient and loving with him. I can't thank them enough. Tracy is awesome, she treats Loki like her own, and has become part of our family He is always so excited to see her. I can't express how much I appreciate you all! Thank you!

Drew, Kathy and Paulette have been walking my pup for a few months now and I’m very happy with their services. My dog is very wary of strangers but he immediately warmed up to them. Kathy is our primary walker and she’s reliable, kind and wonderful with my pup. I highly recommend them.
Drew has been walking our Senior dog Sam for almost 2 years now. He is reliable, timely, respectful of our home and wonderful with our dog! He is also an excellent communicator! Sam gets excited when she sees him walking a neighbors dog locally too! If you are looking for a caring and reliable dog walker, contact Drew!
We have been using Drew and his team for 3 years and couldn’t be happier. Kathy is Duke’s dog walker and truly loves him like her own!!
