One of the worst things about house-sitting is that we don't get enough time to be with the owners! Having said that, we had a lovely time with Kate when she picked us up from the ferry, and then later with Ron - both delightful people. AND, of course, Dart is a delightful dog. No trouble at all to look after, He walks very well, stops when we stop and so on. The house works well for sitters with a separate bedroom and bathroom downstairs, and plenty of space for suitcases and even enough for our morning exercises. Plus, great neighbourhood (great neighbours, too) and everything close by. We would be happy to sit again if ever the opportunity arose.
My two young children and I had an amazing time with Duke and Earl. If you can imagine the dog who loves playing fetch the most in the entire world, it's Duke. He kept my children entertained all day! He understands all directions and is very easygoing. He has now become my favorite dog-personality. :) Earl is a puppy :) It's so much fun to be with a puppy, full of curiosity. He brought joy and laughter. He requires a little bit of more attention, as he is a baby yet. But be sure you will be rewarded with all his cuniness :) The location is breathtaking! Hills, woods, a river, birds singing... The house is even more breathtaking. It is a modern house with everything you might need and more. Kinsale city, with all its shops, cafes, and transportation, is just a 6-minute drive away. If you are looking for a city escape and want to spend some time in the company of two adorable dogs, I can’t imagine a better place. Thank you, Adrian and Naomi. We would be delighted to come again.
Album and Bella were a delight to care for. Russ and Jay were very communicative. All the instructions were very clear. They have a lovely cozy home. Would definitely recommend as pet parents.
We had a lovely weekend stay, from Thursday to Sunday. The house was large & very comfy. Shelley & Stefen were warm, friendly & welcoming. We looked after their 2 dogs, Larry & Emile, who were sweet natured & sociable. They loved nothing more than curling up on the sofa with you & wanting a cuddle, which was perfect for us. We visited Braintree & Colchester, both nice towns, especially Colchester, which is steeped in history.
Isabelle was easy to communicate with, welcoming, and great about giving me all the information I needed for a smooth arrival and a happy stay with Salty Cat. Her place is in a stellar location, clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated, peaceful and quiet. Salty Cat is such a sweet, playful, funny guy. It took a day or so for him to warm up to me and then we got on swimmingly, though sometimes seemed disappointed when I had to stop petting him! He’s a sweetheart. Thank you Isabelle and SC for a lovely retreat. I definitely recommend this sit.
Petsitting for Lukas, Mango, and Pepino was fulfilling and rewarding. Lukas and Mango are incredibly playful and enjoy interactions. Pepino though will be scared at first warms up to you as long as you let Pepino make the first move. Pepino slept next to me at night so I'd like to think we bonded lol. Location is perfectly in the middle of Los Angeles incase you plan to go to any of the sights nearby. Overall, enjoyed my experience caring or Justin and Montana's pets!
