We couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant stay. Suzanne & Susie were so kind, welcoming & laid back. The house is beautiful & so comfortable & the village is very quaint. The 4 dogs are absolutely gorgeous, so gently natured & each dog plays it’s part as part of the dog ball chasing tag team! There is so much do in the locals area - a wonderful part of the country to visit! We highly recommend this as a sit.
We had an amazing time at Jay and Matt’s absolutely gorgeous home. The bus stop is practically at the front door which took us into the city in 20 mins and the home was well equipped with everything we needed for a super comfortable stay. We are honestly in awe of how stunning their home is and how well it’s been decorated! The pets were all easy to look after. Gavin is a cheeky boy who is very food focused and playful. Nancy was a bit shy for the first few days, but once she warmed up to us, she was super sweet and always near us. Barry was super low maintenance and really didn’t need much attention at all! We would highly recommend this sit. Thanks so much guys!
My house/pet sit for Natalie & Jurgen was great! Their adorable pets Wink *(the cat) and Zephyer (Zephy) the doggie were a joy and very good company for me as i hope i was for them :-) Zephy took me on great walks around his neighborhood and he knew the routes well. And Wink kept the snuggles coming when we rested together on the couch and is an expert insect catcher - so double bonus. This was a wonderful opportunity for me to explore Portugal for the first time and I absolutely loved it! I would house and pet site for these kind people again in a heartbeat.
Cat - Purcueles is super independent cat- and will occasionally come for a cuddle- very loud purr. Cujo is so super sweet. If you try to stay up too late he lets you know it’s time for bed. He started off just sleeping at the end of the bed- by the end of my sit he would sleep snuggled up to me. He loved his sniffy walk - very good on the lead. Beautiful home- well appointed brand new kitchen- so close to everything.
Agathe and Ian were great hosts, hosting us for lunch when we visited before the sit, and dinner when we arrived to start the sit. They also collected us and dropped us off at the station. The pets were all delightful, two big friendly dogs and eight gorgeous cats. The house and grounds are a work-in-progress but the location, just by the old city in Carcassonne, is amazing. We are looking forward to going back in July and maybe more times.
Kevin and Ross were wonderful hosts, they were very flexible and overall very chill because what matters to them is that Terra is taken good care of. We've had a blast with this high energy puppy, she's still training so morning walks can be a little sporty but she's so adorable that it makes it all worth it! And caring for her was really easy too. Kevin and Ross house has everything you would need and more, its located in a great/quiet neighborhood 20 minutes from downtown Austin. They were always enquiring if all was going well for us in the house which we really appreciated, and they left clear instructions that were easy to follow. Would love to sit Terra again anytime! 10/10 recommend this sit!
